After suffering back-to-back mishaps on Dancing With the Stars - falling two weeks ago, losing a shoe last Monday - Kirstie Alley hired a new coach this week:

John Travolta!

In a surprise appearance, the actor and friend of Kirstie told her to try hightops, first of all, to avoid another shoe malfunction. His next bit of advice?

Advising her and Maksim Chmerkovskiy to go somewhere and fix the "sexual tension" issue. We're sure he could convince plenty of other ladies to do this.

While his tutelage didn't help her Dancing With the Stars scores - she ended up near the bottom with a still-respectable 23 - his presence was a lot of fun overall:

After tragically losing teenage son Jett to a seizure in 2009, John Travolta and Kelly Preston welcomed a second son, Benjamin, in late November.

Unveiling the new addition to their family in Hello (as well as People), Travolta says the baby has given "the house a renewed spirit and purpose."

With all the negative press Travolta has received - Carrie Fisher saying he's gay and whatnot - it's just nice to see him posing with the happy family ...

That baby Ben sure is cute.

Given that Kelly Preston is pushing 50, welcoming baby Ben and having him be healthy and happy must feel like even more of a blessing for the family.

John Travolta is gay and it's no secret - just ask Carrie Fisher.

Travolta has been followed by gay rumors and reports since the late 1980s, always denying them and often enlisting a team of lawyers to take action.

But Fisher, most famous for her iconic portrayals of Princess Leia in the original Star Wars trilogy, tells The Advocate that her old friend is ... well ...

Carrie and John go way back, but is she telling it like it is?

The Advocate asks: “I know you and Travolta go way back, so let’s get really blunt here: Does his (Travolta’s) legal team have any business demanding Gawker remove a recent post suggesting that he’s given (bleep) jobs?”

Her response: “Wow! I mean, my feeling about John has always been that we know and we don’t care. Look, I’m sorry he’s uncomfortable with it, that’s all I can say. It only draws more attention to it when you make that kind of legal fuss."

This isn't her first such comment about Travolta, either.

John Travolta and wife Kelly Preston are now the proud parents to son Benjamin, who was born Tuesday in a Florida hospital, weighing 8 lbs., 3 oz.

"John, Kelly and their daughter Ella Bleu are ecstatic and very happy about the newest member of the family," the family said in a statement.

"Both mother and baby are healthy and doing beautifully."

Congratulations to the new parents!

The 48-year-old Preston told People that the entire family was in major preparation mode for their new addition as her pregnancy neared its end.

"I've been cleaning out everything in the house," Kelly said in September. "Ella has been helping too. She's looking forward to being a big sister."

Their daughter, Ella, is 10. The couple's son Jett suffered a fatal seizure at age 16 in January 2009. We congratulate them on Benjamin's birth!

Reeling from the loss of their teenage son and a slew of sordid tabloid rumors, John Travolta and Kelly Preston are looking forward to the most joyous of moments. The final countdown to the birth of their new baby, a boy, is underway.

“I can’t wait to meet Benjamin,” Travolta told Extra.

John, Kelly and daughter Ella.

That might happen sooner than he planned. Confirming Preston’s due date is Nov. 26, Travolta revealed his wife, 48, has had some dicey moments lately.

Even though he’s in Australia to celebrate the 90th Anniversary of Qantas Airways, he’s ready to rush home at a moment's notice for the big moment.

Robert Rudolph is at it again.

The author, who spoke to The National Enquirer last month about the homosexual affairs he claimed John Travolta took part in, has taken up the cause of trashing the actor once again.

“I have no doubt that John Travolta is a sex addict," Rudolph told that tabloid's new print edition. "I’ve heard from many men who have either had gay sex with John or saw him having gay sex in health spas, steam rooms, locker rooms, you name it. I’ve gotten so many emails that I’m writing a second book titles "Tracking Travolta" and I’ve got plenty of material.”

You also have a one-way ticket to Hell, dude.

John Travolta has enough personal issues to deal with these days: some idiot author has accused the actor of having gay affairs, while wife Kelly Preston is pregnant.

As a result of all that's on his plate, Travolta has chosen to drop the extortion charges against a Bahamian paramedic and lawyer who allegedly threatened to expose details of Jett Travolta's death last year unless the movie star paid $25 million.

Said Travolta, speaking on this decision and on the first trial of Tarino Lightbourne and Pleasant Bridgewater, which resulted in a mistrial:

"The first trial in this matter resulted in a heavy emotional toll on my family. It was finally time to put this matter behind us... I concluded that it was in my family's best interest for me not to voluntarily return to the Bahamas to testify a second time at trial."

We wish Travolta and Preston nothing but the best.

It's been a difficult couple years for John Travolta.

Last January, his 16-year old son died of a fatal seizure. Then, a few months later, the actor was forced to relive this tragedy under oath, as he testified against the awful human beings who tried to extort him in exchange for covering up information about the incident.

In May, though, Travolta and wife Kelly Preston were thrilled to learn they were expecting a baby - but now that exciting news has been tempered by a report in The National Enquirer.

Cheating Allegations

The tabloid quotes Robert Randolph in its latest issue, some author who is set release a book about the "underground secret world of celebrity gay spa sex." Just what we all need, right?

He says Travolta is living a "secret gay life" and Randolph claims to have even spotted John with another man in October 2009. He explains:

John Travolta and Kelly Preston, who lived through the tragedy of losing their teenage son Jett last year, can now announce the best news they've had in years.

Kelly is pregnant at age 47!

"It’s impossible to keep a secret ... especially one as wonderful as this," they say in a statement. "We want to be the first to share this great news with everyone."

"We are expecting a new addition to our family. Love, John, Kelly and Ella." Travolta, 56, who broke the news on his site, and Preston are also parents to Ella, 10.

Here's the cute, soon-to-be-growing family ...

John, Kelly and Ella are expecting a new baby.

Jett Travolta died of a seizure in January 2009 at age 16. The tragedy was even harder for the family given the extortion plot against them stemming from it.

We couldn't be happier for them today, though. Nothing can bring back the child they lost, but to bring another into the world is always a magical experience.

Congratulations to the Travoltas!

A Bahamian judge has declared a mistrial in the case of two people accused of trying to extort $25 million from John Travolta, citing suspected jury misconduct.

The surprising development took place after a local politician said in a speech played on radio and TV that former Sen. Pleasant Bridgewater was acquitted.

Bridgewater is one of two defendants in the case. There was no acquittal.

Parliament member Picewill Forbes told an audience that Bridgewater was "a free woman." Forbes later admitted misspeaking and no verdict has been issued.

Closing arguments concluded yesterday and the case went to the jury shortly afterward. But the judge threw out the case, suspicious of alleged misconduct.

The case will now be re-tried.

John Travolta and wife Kelly Preston in the Bahamas.

"The dilemma that we face is great," Senior Justice Anita Allen told the shocked court. "I am erring on the side of caution. Justice must be transparent."

Bridgewater and ambulance driver Tarino Lightbourne pleaded not guilty allegedly trying to get Travolta and Kelly Preston to pay for their silence regarding so-called damning details related to their son Jett's death in January.

Travolta's attorney, Michael Ossi, said that his client will fully cooperate with future legal proceedings and testify in the Bahamas again if need be.

The first trial was marked by John's emotional testimony and by several amazing revelations about all the alleged wheeling and dealing going on.

The extortionists were supposedly caught on tape, too. They're going down, it's just a matter of whether it happens sooner rather than later.
