John Travolta spoke to The Daily Beast last week and directly addressed some of the recent gay rumors and the lawsuit filed against him by an alleged former lover.
Well, he was mostly direct. An interview with the film legend is rare in itself, and extrapolating on the topic of John Travolta gay rumors even rarer.
He did not say, however, that he is gay. Or straight. But he did say people are out to get him in order to get paid and that's the long and short of it.
Doug Gotterba, a pilot who worked for him in the 1980s, says he was "unwillingly thrust" into the limelight after Travolta was accused of sexual battery by another man.
He says he wanted to “tell the story of his life and those involved in it" in a book, which has resulted in a legal battle against the Pulp Fiction star.
"This is every celebrity’s Achilles heel. It’s just about people wanting money. That’s all. It happens on many levels," John Travolta told the website.
"Also, I don’t care that much about [those types of allegations]."
