Jodelle Ferland: A Loyal Member of Team Edward
Though her role remains a mystery, Jodelle Ferland has been cast in Eclipse.
The young actress, who turns 15 in October, won't reveal her character's identity, but told Radar Online that she's a big fan of the franchise, along with her upcoming role in it.
"I wouldn't do it if I really didn't like the character," she said.
Ferland is actually friends with Kristen Stewart; the pair starred together in the 2007 movie The Messengers.
As for the ultimate Twilight Saga question - is she on Team Edward or Team Jacob? - Ferland was ready with an answer:
"Team Edward. I just really can't figure out why I like Edward more, I don't know. It just seems natural. You know, everyone likes Edward better! I can't wait [to work with Robert Pattinson]."
Eclipse begins filming next week in Vancouver.

Jodelle Ferland has been cast in the third Twilight Saga installment. According to Variety, the 14-year old will play a “vampire who has just been turned." Hmmm... sounds like Bree, no?
The Canadia actress has impressive resume for someone her age. She's appeared in an episode of Supernatural and will next be seen opposite Renee Zellweger September's Case 39.
Ferland is the latest rising star to join the cast of Eclipse. Earlier this summer, Xavier Samuel came on board in the role of Riley.
The movie will be released on June 30, 2010.
