It's sort of official: there's serious bad blood brewing between Taylor Swift and Katy Perry.

It all started when Swift told Rolling Stone that she penned a song on hew new album about an enemy in the world of music, someone who did “something so horrible” when she tried to “sabotage an entire arena tour."

Then, not long after these comments went public, Perry Tweeted a reference to Mean Girls and a "Regina George in sheep's clothing," who we're rather positive is Taylor Swift.

So the claws are pretty much out between two of the top-selling artists in pop music history.

Will things get uglier from here? Who will fire the next shot? And where does this feud rank among recent famous rivalries, which include Drake Bell HATING on Justin Bieber and Jimmy Kimmel trading barbs with Kanye West?

Flip around and decide now:

When Joan Rivers passed away yesterday at the age of 81, dozens of celebrities who had crossed paths with the comedy legend over the course of her career expressed their grief on social media.

It seemed that everyone in Hollywood tweeted their love for Joan yesterday, with a few notable exceptions.

Kim Kardashian feuded with Rivers for years following some jokes that the comedienne cracked at her expense. As such, Kim was silent on Twitter yesterday, and her Instagram page was just the usual barrage of paid product endorsements.

Kim's youngest sibling Kylie, however, is clearly willing to forgive the time Joan parodied Kim's sex tape, as she fondly remembered her run-in with Rivers with the following photo:

No date is given, but both Kylie and her sister Kendall appear a couple years younger in the pic. Kylie captioned it simply, "Rest peacefully."

Earlier today, Joan Rivers passed away after complications from a surgical procedure caused her to be placed in a medically-induced coma last week.

In a way, it was fitting that we learned of Joan's condition the same day that we found out Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt got married.

Joan spent much of her career deflating the egos of A-list stars, and she likely would've gotten kick out of the fact that her last act involved upstaging the world's most famous couple.

Sadly, we'll never get to hear Joan's biting takedown of Angie's wedding dress.

Joan was a frequent guest and fill-in host on Johnny Carson's Tonight Show. She and Carson never spoke again after she launched a rival late night show.

The loss of her talent will leave a void in the comedy world that won't be easy to fill, as even at the age of 81, Rivers frequently made headlines for her often controversial - and always witty - insights on celebrities, fashion, and world events.

It's hard to pin down the funniest and most shocking moments from her more than five decades in the spotlight, but we've compiled some of her most indispensable feuds, one-liners, and wisecracks in the gallery above.

The one-of-a-kind star "passed peacefully at 1:17 p.m. surrounded by family and close friends,” Joan's only daughter, Melissa Rivers, said in a statement.

“My mother’s greatest joy in life was to make people laugh. Although that is difficult to do right now, I know her final wish would be that we return to laughing soon.”

Rivers reportedly died of cardiac arrest this afternoon.

She was admitted to New York’s Mt. Sinai hospital August 28 after she stopped breathing during a procedure on her vocal cords at a New York Clinic.

In the ensuing days, Rivers was placed in a medically-induced coma to assess her condition, then placed on and subsequently taken off life support.

The petite blonde firebrand won't be remembered for the events of the past week, but for the pioneering confessional female comic persona she embodied.

Despite yesterday's reports to the contrary Joan Rivers is still on life support at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York.

The legendary comedienne has been moved from the intensive care unit to a private room in a recovery wing, but that doesn't necessarily mean that her condition has improved.

In the days since Joan Rivers stopped breathing during a surgical procedure, there have been a number of ups and downs with regard to the legendary comic's prognosis.

At first, Rivers was placed in a medically induced coma and dependent upon life support.

Early today, we learned that Rivers is expected to emerge from her coma, but several years of rehab will likely mean the end of her comedy career, and could even prevent her making any more public appearances.

We received more mixed news just moments ago, as TMZ is reporting that Rivers has been moved from the ICU to a wing of the hospital devoted to recovery.

Unfortunately, that doesn't necessarily mean that her condition has improved.
