Halloween is just around the corner, but if you still haven't figured out a costume, worry not - we've got your covered.

You can always check out our list of unorthodox "sexy" Halloween costumes, if you want to got the revealing route. Of course, if the cat ears and underwear look isn't for you, why not just steal an idea from a celebrity?

Miley Cyrus
Miley Cyrus has selected her Halloween costume. She's going as Lil Kim. What do you think?

Now, you'll want to be careful about who you draw inspiration from on this list.

For example, Rihanna did some sort of sexy zombie thing last year, but that's not the kind of thing most people can pull off. As a rule, rotting flesh isn't sexy.

Oh, and when we mentioned Nicki Minaj in the headline, we meant the celebrity who went as Nicki Minaj.

We can't stress this enough: if you wear Nicki Minaj's Halloween costume from last year, you will get arrested for indecent exposure.

Now that Joan Rivers' cause of death has been determined, the world can stop focusing on the events of her final days and get back to the lifetime of work that made her a household name for generations.

R.I.P. Joan Rivers (1933-2014)
R.I.P. Joan Rivers (1933-2014). She will never be forgotten.

Joan was frequently brilliant, but just as often scathing, brutal, and relentless in her assessments of other celebs.

From claiming Kristen Stewart slept her way to fame to accusing Miley Cyrus of incest, Joan never seemed to hold anything back, but now sources close to the legendary comic are claiming that she saved her best (and the worst) for last.

"Joan requested that after she is gone, her personal diaries be turned into a book," a source tells Radar Online. "The problem is, they are having a hard time shopping it around because of how over-the-top defamatory it is."

Today, sources who claim to have inside information are insisting that Rivers was, in fact, a victim of malpractice, and they've implied that the New York Chief Medical Examiner is complicit in keeping that information under wraps.

TMZ reports that they've spoken with insiders who say Joan didn't suffer brain damage until after her procedure was completed.

Furthermore, they say there's no truth to the report that Rivers' death had anything to do with the use of Propofol (the notorious sedative on which Michael Jackson overdosed).

When Joan Rivers died following a routine surgical procedure in August, the doctors in charge of the operation were accused of negligence and malpractice by a number of medical experts and media outlets.

Investigations revealed a number of suspicious details, such as the fact that Rivers' doctor snapped a selfie while the operation was underway.

Rivers' cause of death remained undetermined following a standard autopsy, so the office of New York's Chief Medical Examiner launched an investigation of its own.

The results - released today - show that Rivers died from a lack of oxygen to her brain, possibly as the result of the sedative Propofol. The Examiner has labeled the incident a "predictable complication."

When Joan Rivers passed away earlier this month at the age of 81, many wondered if her cultishly popular E! series, Fashion Police, would continue on without her.

Fortunately, for fans of style and snarky commentary, E! announced last week that Fashion Police will return for another season.

Following the announcement, of course, another big question loomed: who would take on the unenviable task of filling the huge, chic shoes of Ms. Rivers?

Well, we may have our answer today, as multiple outlets are reporting that Kathy Griffin will join the show as the fourth co-host on the panel.

Griffin has apparently already cleared one major hurdle by receiving the blessing of Joan's daughter, Melissa Rivers:

For E!, the show must go on.

Two weeks after the death of Joan Rivers, the network announced on Friday that Fashion Police will return to the air without its beloved late star.

E!'s Fashion Police

"We are deeply saddened by the loss of Joan Rivers and, for the last two weeks, have turned our attention to honoring her memory on all of our platforms," E! said via statement, continuing:

"We have also thought long and hard about what Joan would have wanted as it pertains to the future of Fashion Police. We decided, with Melissa Rivers’ blessing, that Joan would have wanted the franchise to continue.

"Fashion Police will return in 2015 commencing with Golden Globes coverage on Monday, Jan. 12. No further details will be announced at this time."

Giuliana Rancic is opening up about her late friend Joan Rivers in a new interview, and weighing in on the future of their popular E! show Fashion Police.

"It was the shock of a lifetime, it really was," the 40-year-old host said of her longtime colleague. "I had just seen Joan 48 hours before her procedure."

"We were taping the Emmy Fashion Police show," Rancic added, "and she was honestly better than ever and she even looked better than ever at 81."

Joan Rivers died earlier this month, one week after she stopped breathing while undergoing an outpatient procedure on her vocal cords on August 28.

Rancic recalled complimenting the trailblazing, sharp-tongued comedienne just before her surgery, noting that Joan Rivers didn't take flattery well.

"She wasn't one to ever take a compliment, but she didn't say 'Stop it' that day ... she just kind of smiled and said, 'Thank you,'" Rancic explained.

"I'll never forget that, that moment," she said, given the events that followed. "When this all happened, that was one of the first things I thought about."

When the late Joan Rivers went to Yorkville Endoscopy for a supposedly routine procedure, she received an experience that was anything but routine.

Rivers’ female ear, nose and throat doctor stepped in once Dr. Lawrence Cohen, Rivers’ gastroenterologist, discovered something on her vocal cords.

The ENT, who wasn’t authorized to perform medical procedures at the clinic, took over and began a biopsy - one which was reportedly not authorized.

Once it began, her vocal cords began to swell.

Not only was the ENT not supposed to be treating Rivers, investigators were told that she snapped selfie with the Fashion Police star while she was under anesthesia.

Obviously, that constitutes a major violation of privacy, as she did not give her consent to have her picture taken, and is pretty much the tackiest thing ever.

Joan Rivers once mused that she wanted a Hollywood-style funeral. She would have approved of what she actually got, because it came pretty close.

Joan and Melissa Rivers

The service, held at Temple Emanu-El on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan included an actual red carpet to welcome attendees to the star-studded farewell affair.

Whoopi Goldberg, Barbara Walters, Clive Davis, Diane Sawyer and a slew of other luminaries filed past the paparazzi and into the temple to bid Joan goodbye.

Howard Stern gave a eulogy for Rivers and Hugh Jackman sang "Quiet Please, There's a Lady on Stage." But the star was Joan's daughter Melissa.

The younger Rivers, 46, stood before the crowd and read an excerpt from her forthcoming book, A Letter to My Mom, which will be published in April.

In recent years, Joan had been staying in a room at Melissa Rivers' L.A. residence when, once a week, she flew in from New York to tape E!'s Fashion Police.

She had some issues with the accommodations, and conversations the women had on the topic before Joan Rivers died were documented by Melissa.

An excerpt was chosen for Joan's funeral by her only child, and it proves Melissa inherited her mother's wit. Read it in its hilarious entirety below:
