The Bachelorette star Jillian Harris and Ed Swiderski, her embattled fiance, were spotted picking up unmentionables at the new Victoria’s Secret store in Chicago.

The reason? “I’m a little down on my lingerie collection,” she said.

Sausage Fest

Not that Ed minds. Asked what he thinks is the sexiest thing a woman could wear, he responded, “No panties.” Jillian Harris said “no bra” is the sexy way to go.

The couple, who recently moved in together, were also eager to talk about news that Bachelor Jason Mesnick and Molly Malaney got engaged in New Zealand.

“We had no idea they got engaged and just talked to them yesterday,” Harris said, adding that they just found out. “They sent us a picture of them together."

"They looked so happy ... I guess I never thought about it, but them being in New Zealand would be the best time to do it. It all makes sense!”

Despite the drama of how they got together, Jillian said she is not surprised that Jason popped the question - or that Molly Malaney accepted.

Jillian Harris and Ed Swiderski are going strong!

“They’re so awesome,” she said. “We hung out with them in Vancouver, the four of us, and had so much fun. We want to hang out more in the future.”

As for the choice of Jake Pavelka as the new Bachelor?

Since he was one of her suitors, Jillian said it’s a little weird to see him dating a group of women, but she’s excited for him to make the journey she did.

“We’re obviously so supportive of anyone who’s a part of that whole family,” she said. “But it’s strange. You don’t think of them as exes but it’s sensitive."

"I think everyone that was there was there looking for something different but I think they all genuinely deserved to find somebody special,” she added.

“I think [Jake Pavelka] is going to make an interesting Bachelor,” Jillian said. “He’s definitely got a lot of emotion so I think he’ll be very fun to watch.”

DeAnna Pappas wishes nothing but the best for The Bachelorette star Jillian Harris, who recently moved to Chicago to live with fiance Ed Swiderski.

She's just not sure it's gonna work out.

Ali Fedotowsky, Roberto Martinez

"I do hope it works out for them; the odds are against them," DeAnna told Us Weekly, though she did add that the couple is doing better than ever.

"Supposedly Jillan and Ed are still together, and head over heels in love. I haven't hung out with them, but we have mutual friends, and they say they are crazy about each other," Jillian's Bachelorette predecessor added.

"It seems to be working so far."

It was a difficult summer for Jillian and Ed, thanks to rumors that he slept with Lindsey Johnson a week after proposing to her on the reality show.

Another woman, Bethany Steffen, says he tried to get in her pants a week later. DeAnna Pappas' take? She wasn't that surprised by the report.

DeAnna Pappas, who famously chose the wrong guy on The Bachelorette finale, won't say if Ed was the wrong pick for Jillian. But she wasn't a big fan of Swiderski.

"I wasn't an Ed fan while [Jillian Harris] was filming the show," she said. "I think some people go on [The Bachelorette] with different intentions."

"Maybe they are not open in the beginning what their intentions are," she told Us Weekly, without elaborating. "So in the end, you get duped."

Another controversial reality couple from The Bachelor franchise's recent history, Jason Mesnick and Molly Malaney, also still on, Pappas reports.

"They are so happy, and I do think that they are going to get married," she said of the two. "They really just get each other, it works for them."

Will Jillian and Ed last?

The Bachelorette star Jillian Harris is about to take a big step.

Surprisingly, she's not dumping Ed Swiderski, her fiance, despite rumors of him giving it to more women than Jon Gosselin over the past few months.

First Impression

The Canadian cutie is moving to Chicago to be with her man on Tuesday, she dished Thursday: "I'm all packed up and ready to go," the 30-year-old said.

E! tracked down Jillian at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in N.Y.C., where her date was an entirely different bachelor than the one who put a ring on it.

Mike Steinberg, the New York-based baseball camp owner whom Jillian Harris nixed in episode four, accompanied her to the catwalk. It was Ed's idea!

"Ed was supposed to be here today but then he couldn't book his flight," she explained. "Ed and he have been really good friends since the show. So Ed's like, 'Why don't you have Steinberg sit in for me? That'll make some great news.'"

The future Mrs. Ed Swiderski also mentioned spending time with The Bachelor star Jason Mesnick and his runner-up-turned-fiancee, Molly Malaney.

Jason and Molly aren't engaged - for now. But Jillian is, and she's already planning her wedding to Ed. Just not aggressively planning it right away.

"I think everybody witnessed that it could be so intense right after the show was over. We want to try to live a normal life and get to the point where we live together and we really come together, then start planning," she said.

Surprisingly logical for a reality TV star. Not that Jillian Harris doesn't already have a few of the wedding details picked out. Or most, or all of them.

"I want to have a couple cakes, a live band and maybe like 100 people there, that's it," she said. "Probably in my parents' backyard. Totally low key."

As for babies, they're in the far off future for now: "I'm very excited to have kids but I'm excited to have a place for my clothes first," she says.

Asked who should be the next star of The Bachelor, Jill said that Reid Rosenthal would be the ideal choice, because he's "a solid package."

That he is. But who do you think should be The Bachelor?

Despite her fiance's blatant, confirmed alleged cheating, Jillian Harris and Ed Swiderski are doing fine and looking forward to moving on with their life together.

That's according to friend Melissa Rycroft, who competed for the love of Jason Mesnick along with Jillian (and eventual winner Molly Malaney) on The Bachelor.

"She is doing really well," Rycroft said at a Kenneth Cole charity event in L.A. "Jillian and Ed are happy, and I know she is excited to become a U.S. citizen."

"She's moving to Chicago [where Ed Swiderski lives] soon."

The buzz surrounding Ed in recent weeks has centered around dalliances with Lindsey Johnson and Bethany Steffen before, during and after The Bachelorette.

Basically, he two-timed both of them before Jillian was in the picture, then continued to text and have sex with at least one of them after he proposed.

There are even reports he left a Chicago bar with another woman last week.

Jillian Picture

Melissa Rycroft said she hopes Jillian Harris will marry Ed Swiderski.

"I absolutely do. I know they love each other, and I know they are planning a wedding, and I know she wants to marry him. I hope it works out for them."

"You know, granted it's not my business to comment, but Jillian's real life is fantastic," Melissa Rycroft stressed, diplomatically and perhaps untruthfully.

As for her own wedding to Tye Strickland, M-Ry said, "We had to register online!"

Tye added: "I think it's the coolest concept ever, of course! I have never registered for a wedding before. I can just go online and pick out all the stuff and people are going to buy it for me! We should get married more often!"

Hopefully for Melissa, this engagement actually takes, unlike her previous effort.

Looks like anyone who thought Lindsey Johnson and Bethany Steffen were just making this stuff up to get paid by celebrity gossip tabloids was mistaken.

EDITOR'S NOTE: No one thought that. We all know Ed is shady.

Ashley, Blake and Ryan

Weeks after reports began surfacing that Ed Swiderski had not one but two girlfriends when he proposed to Jillian Harris on The Bachelorette, his complete email exchanges with both of them have been published online by Reality Steve.

Steve is a man with connections who often gets dirt on reality TV (hence the name), especially The Bachelor and The Bachelorette. He came through here.

He had previously been in contact with Ed Swiderski about an interview. Ed declined. But when Reality Steve obtained the emails Ed sent to his lady friends, he informed Ed that he was planning to publish them on his blog (which he did).

It appears Ed and Jillian have formed a united front and are determined to simply laugh off all of the tabloid reports of him being a two-timing cheater.

Swiderski's reply: "Go with it, Steve-o! After all, God put you here to report on reality TV, and that's certainly something to be proud of. It's your duty!"

What kind of guy is Jillian Harris marrying in Ed Swiderski?

Still, it's hard to see how she can laugh off him telling Lindsey Johnson, "I'm going to molest you when I get home" or telling Steffen "you know I never took this seriously" and "you know I am not, in any way, attracted to the chick."

Reality Steve has the full exchanges published and we reported on most of the highlights in previous articles. So let's just sum up what we know:

  • Two weeks before the show began, in an email to Bethany Steffen, Ed Swiderski specifically states that he "would be doing the show for the wrong reasons" and has no interest in romance with star Jillian Harris.
  • He then leaves to do The Bachelorette, telling both women he’s only going to be gone two weeks because that’s all "work" will allow. This is corroborated by his email to Lindsey, in which he wants to come home and fondle her.
  • Ed goes home. Both women say they saw him, hung out with him, and slept with him (unbeknownst to each other) when he was back in Chicago.
  • Lindsey Johnson says they went to a wedding together (friends have corroborated this), and she spent 4-5 days with him before he told her he was leaving for a "business trip" to Texas (really Spain and Hawaii).
  • She found out about this after he got back, having proposed to Jillian Harris on the season finale. Lindsey (below, right) had sex with Ed anyway. He tried to booty call Bethany (left) after the show ended as well.

Clearly, Jillian is an adult who can make her own decisions. If she wants to naively deny, or simply accept all this and look to the future with Ed, fine.

But after confirming that the above points are all more or less true, one would think it paints a picture of a shady character that is hard to ignore.

... a dog! The Bachelorette star found love on reality TV with Ed Swiderski, but Jilly has so much more warmth to share with this world, she's planning to open up her heart once more to a rescue puppy. Sounds like fun!

"Ed and I plan on adopting a rescue as soon as we settle into a place," Harris, who is getting ready to move to Chicago to be with Swiderski, tells People.

Dogs have been a part of the Canadian's life since she was little - beginning with a special canine named Sweets and then a rescue dog named Risky.

Now she's ready to try her hand at pet ownership again.

Aww. She's so sweet, that Jillian Harris. Maybe she can negotiate a 2-for-1 deal and include Ed Swiderski when she takes the little guy in to get fixed.

Jillian and Ed

Jillian and Ed are still together despite his shadiness.

We're just glad that with Ryan Jenkins dead, Jillian can go back to being the Canadian talked about most on The Hollywood Gossip. What a cutie.

Despite the rumors of him telling Bethany Steffen to break out the beer and condoms and texting that he was going to molest Lindsey Johnson, the fairy tale romance isn’t over for The Bachelorette’s Jillian Harris and Ed Swiderski.

Standing tall amid reports that there is trouble in paradise after scandalous accusations levied against Ed by the two aforementioned ladies, Jillian Harris says she and Swiderski “have not even come close [to splitting up].”

In fact, Ed Swiderski is currently spending much-needed quality time with the interior designer in her native Vancouver. They're enjoying the nice weather.

“We’ve got a Jet Ski, so we’ve been spending lots of time on the lake,” says Jillian, who is preparing to move to fiancé Ed’s native Chicago in September.

The pair was rumored to be on the verge of a breakup after back-to-back Us Weekly cover stories claimed Ed Swiderski strung along Bethany Steffen while filming The Bachelorette, then nailed Lindsey Johnson after his proposal to Jillian.

“There’s just no truth to it,” Ed told ABC’s Good Morning America.

Jillian Harris and Ed Swiderski

“He has been very, very clear with me from the very beginning,” maintained Jillian. “Ed is not deceiving me, nor is he pulling the wool over my eyes.”

Jillian’s friends support her decision to stay with Ed Swiderski.

“Those girls who claimed they were still with him were only in it for fame and financial reasons; they saw an opportunity and ran with it and didn’t care who they hurt along the way,” a friend of Ed and Jillian claims.

“Jill was aware that there was a risk of this kind of tabloid attention when she got involved in the show,” reasons Shannon Long, who’s known Jillian Harris since kindergarten. “Jill is in love. I’ve never seen her so happy in my life.”

“She’s got it under control,” agrees Jillian’s longtime friend Brad Bell.

Is Brad Bell right? Will Jillian and Ed last?

Wes Hayden may be the most hated man in the history of The Bachelorette, but that only goes for the fans, and is largely thanks to ABC's shady editing.

The country singer just wrapped up a guys’ weekend in Austin, Tex., with some other former contestants from the past season. No one seems to hate him.

“Tanner [Pope], who lives in Dallas, drove up while Mike [Stagliano] and David [Good] and the rest of the guys flew in to have a good time,” Wes said.

“I loved hanging out with the guys. We had a great time.”

Some of the guys hit a local spa resort, while the whole group hit local hot spot Ranch 616, where they shared dinner, drinks and gossip about The Bachelorette winner Ed Swiderski - and claims he was/is unfaithful to his fiancée Jillian Harris.

“I had no clue whether Ed had a girlfriend on the show. I didn’t know about it,” says Wes, who was also rumored to be dating Laurel Kagay while wooing Jillian.

“But if it’s true, I feel really bad for Jillian. I don’t know what to believe to be honest with you. I feel bad for Jillian and for [Ed Swiderski]. But if in fact he was doing what everybody’s been saying, then man up and deal with it.”

Wes Hayden, Jillian Harris

Fans really hated Wes Hayden. But he doesn't seem that bad.

The controversial country singer, who says not to believe everything you see on TV, and went on record saying the producers sabotaged him, expressed doubt about whether romance can blossom on The Bachelorette at all.

“I have a hard time grasping that any of the show’s intentions are genuine,” he said. “If Jillian honestly came on the show looking for love and thought that she found it and then found out it was all made up and Ed was cheating on her, that’s awful.”

As for Jillian Harris, Wes Hayden says, “We connected on the show and we’re always going to be friends.” But he’s focused on pushing his first album Full Circle.

“I’m not dating anybody; I’m way too busy right now,” he says.

“I see a lot of my sister right now though. She goes on the road with me wherever I go. But you know, if I meet the right woman, I’d like to settle down.”

Ed Swiderski openly talked about having a girlfriend while he was trying to woo The Bachelorette star Jillian Harris, former contestant Wes Hayden says.

"Dave [Good] and I remember Ed saying he had a girlfriend," says Wes, who also was accused of dating (Laurel Kagay) while on the show, to Us Weekly.

"But we are not the kind who are going to run our mouths."

Finalist Reid Rosenthal says some contestants thought from the start that Ed Swiderski, 30, was bad news and "didn't care to hang out with him."

Adds Michael Stagliano, "There was definitely some point where I did think, I'm not going to be best friends with this guy. Ed's a shady character."

The Bachelorette contestants are required to relinquish their cellphones and laptops on the show to keep interaction lively among the participants.

But due to his as a Microsoft consultant, Ed Swiderski "had an agreement" to keep both "because it was imperative for him to have access for work."

This agreement is now coming back to bite the Chicagoan.

Ed Swiderski: Cheater!

HOW HE TRICKED HER: Rather easily, it appears. Poor Jilly Bean.

Adds Jesse Kovacs of his competitor at the time, "Obviously, no one knew he was saying, 'I'm not into [Jillian Harris] and I can't wait to go home.'"

While Ed did some work, he also kept in touch with Lindsey Johnson, whom he was dating at the time, and told he was only going on the show for fun.

He even texted that Harris "wasn't his type," and that he was "not in any way attracted to the chick." Just what every newly-engaged girl wants to hear.

On April 12, three days before he told Jillian Harris he had to leave The Bachelorette to focus on his career, Swiderski emailed Johnson to say "I love you" and declared that he was going to "molest" Lindsey when he got home. Romantic.

Then, after getting engaged to Jillian on the season finale, he banged her again eight days later, according to the scorned Ed Swiderski play thing.

Another woman, Bethany Steffen, says Ed was stringing her along while he was dating Lindsey (and Jillian) and tried to get her in the sack a few days later.

Man, people are really piling it on Ed these past few weeks. Sure, maybe they are all liars, but you don't hear anyone backing Ed up, do you?

Will Jillian Harris and Ed Swiderski last?

If most recently engaged women are said to be on cloud nine, The Bachelorette star Jillian Harris has probably been around cloud three or four lately.

That's because her final rose recipient, Ed Swiderski, is alleged to have been less than faithful to Jillian - even after he had proposed on the show.

It's not pure gossip made up out of thin air, either. Both of his supposed ex-girlfriends, Lindsey Johnson and Bethany Steffen, are going public.

Sure, maybe they're bitter, lying and exaggerating to torpedo Ed's relationship because they're jealous of Jillian, and to receive fat paychecks.

But some of the claims at least make you wonder, especially since Ed was the subject of girlfriend rumors even during his stint on the program.

Despite the firestorm of criticism and rumors of an impending split, the 29-year-old Jillian Harris has been standing by her fiancé, and plans to keep at it.

Mrs. Ed Swiderski?

In response to a Radar Online piece Friday that claimed they broke up or at least came close, the star explained that the article "claimed Ed and I broke up, when in fact we have not even come close. I really want out of the spotlight so bad."

"I just hate it so much.”

The two have weathered the media circus about as well as could be expected, given the type of rumors that have followed Ed Swiderski since the finale:

  • That Ed was stringing two women along before Jillian Harris was in the picture, then continued to even after signing up for The Bachelorette.
  • That he emailed one of them from the set and said Jillian Harris was "not his type" and that he was "not in any way attracted to the chick."
  • That even after popping the question, Ed returned to Chicago and began "sexting" Bethany Steffen to come over with beer and condoms.
  • That Ed engineered his exit from The Bachelorette not for work, but because he wanted to come home and "molest" Lindsey Johnson.

Yeah ... we wish Jillian and Ed the best as they try to weather these difficult and stormy times. Unless any of the above stories are true, in which case we suggest Jillian try to track down Reid Rosenthal's cellphone number.
