Movie Fanatic reports that in casting Eisenberg as Luthor, as a contemporary of Clark Kent, the film has cast appropriately cast a Henry Cavill peer.

Director Zack Snyder said, "Lex Luthor is often considered the most notorious of Superman’s rivals, his unsavory reputation preceding him since 1940."

"Having Jesse in the role allows us to explore some interesting dynamics, and also take the character in some new and unexpected directions."

So Jesse Eisenberg stars in the new movie Now You See Me.

And he gave an interview about it over the weekend to a blogger named Romina... but we can't figure out if he's actually being a jerk to her in the following exchange. Or if it's sort of all part of the act.

They squared off in The Social Network. So it's only appropriate for Jesse Eisenberg and Andrew Garfield to go head-to-head in the latest edition of a THG Fashion Face-Off.

Both these young stars walked the red carpet at last night's Academy Awards, although neither left the event with any hardware.

That makes this match up that much more intense, as the actor who brought Mark Zuckerberg to the big screen takes on the next Spider-Man. By the look on Garfield's face, you can tell this is an intense moment. He's nervous. He's anxious. He really wants it. Will he get the title? That's up to you...

Three 'Bergs, one awkwardly funny opening SNL skit.

Facebook co-founder Mark Zuckerberg personally appeared on Saturday Night Live this weekend during host Jesse Eisenberg's opening monologue.

Eisenberg is nominated for a Best Actor Academy Award for his portrayal of Mark. Andy Samberg? No Oscar nominations, but he was also present.

After all the controversy surrounding The Social Network and its portrayal of the billionaire, it's nice to see there's no bad blood between them ...
