Yeah, she went there.

Just one day after Jessa Duggar bashed evolution and atheism on Instagram, she returned to the social media site to express an even more controversial view.

Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald in DC

Jessa, 21, and fiance Ben Seewald, 19, are in DC at the moment, and according to her page they recently paid a visit to the US Holocaust Museum.

The future Mrs. Seewald was clearly moved by the experience, and with good reason. The museum brings to vivid life one of the most horrific tragedies in human history.

Unfortunately, and all too predictably, the emotions that Jessa experienced at the museum inspired an lengthy, impassioned defense of her various political causes and religious convictions.

None of which - at least as most people probably see it - have anything to do with the millions of lives lost in concentration camps in Europe during WWII.

The Duggar family's conservative values and penchant for courting, rather than dating, when it comes to children coming of age and finding mates are well established.

You won't believe some of the specific things they don't allow, however.

Dates Without Chaperones
The Duggar parents often accompany their children on dates in order to maintain their "accountability" and "keep things from going in the wrong direction," per Jim Bob. The girls are fine with this, as being alone with men puts them in grave "moral danger." When the parents aren't available, their older siblings will often tag along, making every date a group date and a family affair.

"In today's day and time, it's a little bit strange to be in our early 20s and still have not had sex," the newly engaged Jessa Duggar admitted in a recent interview.

"But," she adds, "it's how our parents did it."

That it is, and it's admirably old-fashioned.

Whether you subscribe to their methodology or not, one has to hand it to the Duggar family for setting moral standards for themselves and sticking to them.

People could learn a lot from their devotion to the core values in their lives. Some of the strict rules they've established to enforce this policy, however?

Jill and Jessa Duggar grace the new cover of Us this week, and look amazing doing it, while dishing on their oft-discussed love lives inside the magazine.

Jill and Jessa Duggar Us Weekly Cover

When it comes to Jill and her husband Derick Dillard, or Jessa and her fiance Ben Seewald, fans who watch 19 Kids and Counting know how smitten they are.

Their love knows no boundaries, it seems ... well, except in the physical sense.

Strict parents Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar have imposed a stringent policy when it comes to letting their girls see young men, but they do not rebel.

On the contrary, Jessa and Jill buy in to the family philosophy, and then some.

When it comes to Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, they are all about the sex, as evidenced by their giant brood. But there is a time and place for it.

That time is after marriage, the couple believes, no ifs ands or buts about it.

On TLC's 19 Kids and Counting Season 14 Episode 6, Jill Duggar went shopping for a wedding dress. Flanked by her mother and siblings, obviously.

This point in the planning process was a family affair (aren't they all?) and took place on a girls trip to D.C. to visit Josh Duggar and his wife Anna.

Jill chose her maid of honor (Jana Duggar), and bridesmaids (her older sisters, plus Anna Duggar) and went to find a dress at a place in Fredericksburg, Va.

After a day of scoping out potential choices, Jill found her dress, and there was no hemming and hawing before she said yes to this special garment.

Sometimes, as we saw on 19 Kids and Counting Season 14 Episode 6, you just knew. This was certainly the case when she met Derick Dillard!

Before you know it, she'll be walking down the aisle in that beautiful gown, as each episode of the reality TV series brings us closer to that milestone.

With Jill, Derick, Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald becoming quasi-celebrities in their own right these days, we know the events that are to come.

After saying accepting Ben Seewald's marriage proposal and getting engaged last month, Jessa Duggar of 19 Kids and Counting already has her wedding plans set.

For Saturday, November 1! Of this calendar year!

"I am super excited," Jessa says of her upcoming nuptials to her boyfriend/fiance of just over a year now. "Everybody has really been pitching in."

She does have a lot of hands to help, at least ...

Duggar family dating rules don't specifically state that you can't have a long engagement, but it seems like an unwritten one, 'cause they move right along!

As her older sister did just a few months ago, Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald will share wedding vows and their very first kiss on their big day.

They have already sent out the invites, picked the colors and bridal party, and have the bridesmaids' dresses on hand. And Jessa's dress, of course.

"I put it on, looked in the mirror, and it hit me," Jessa says of that magical wedding detail, and at that moment, she knew, "I'm going to be a bride."

And very likely with child by New Year's.

The newly-engaged Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald are giving her older sister Jill Duggar and Jill's husband Derick Dillard a run for their cute Instagram money.

So to speak.

Jessa and Ben literally engaged in a social media game of "I love you more," bringing us close to the point of nausea, but darned if we don't love them for it.

The Duggar family dating rules - sorry, courting rules - may have more going for them than we thought. Sure, settling for side hugs can be a bummer.

Waiting until your wedding day to share your first kiss certainly has kept the love and anticipation alive for Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald, however.

Ditto newlyweds Jill and Derick Dillard, who are of now expecting their first child together, and gush about each other just as much as ever these days.

Both couples are known for their sappy Instagram posts, but Jessa and Ben really upped the ante by arguing over who loves the other one more.

Seriously.

For Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar, life has officially come full circle.

On 19 Kids and Counting Season 8 Episode 4, Jill Duggar went shopping for wedding rings with fiance Derick Dillard, and Michelle knew the place well.

She and Jim Bob went to that same place, 30-some years ago.

Jill and Derick got married at the same church where her parents tied the knot in Arkansas, so it's bringing back all sorts of memories for the older couple.

Bittersweet is a good word for how Jim Bob feels, as he's having a hard time letting go of his daughter. Emotionally, anyway. He does love Derick.

No matter how much he approves and how supportive it is, it's hard for a tight-knit family like this to come to terms with Jill leaving the nest. But it's life.

Make no mistake, for all the Duggar dating rules and things none of us can relate to about their lives, Jim Bob's instinct is to make his kids happy.

Never was this more obvious than when he lobbied to have Jessa Duggar's boyfriend Ben Seewald, who lived four hours away, move closer to them.

Like, a lot closer to them. Think ON THE COMPOUND!

19 Kids and Counting star Jessa Duggar and her fiance Ben Seewald are engaged and wasting little time before they exchange vows. They will wed November 1!

The couple's courtship is playing out on TV right now - watch 19 Kids and Counting online to see the most recent two installments - and it's sweet as can be.

TLC has also released two new photos of the duo's engagement. Take a look!

  • Jessa Duggar, Ben Seewald Engagement
  • Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald Engagement

The photos come after we got a close-up look at Jessa Duggar's engagement ring, a .75 carat diamond with an 18 karat gold band, via her Instagram.

Duggar, 21, got engaged to Ben Seewald, 19, after 11 months of dating.

Or courting, as the lovebirds would obviously correct you and term it.

Either way, "We are so blessed to be engaged!" the couple gushed.

"God has written an amazing story through our courtship, and another chapter has just begun! We are thrilled to see what the future holds - especially the wedding bells!"

On 19 Kids and Counting Season 8 Episode 2 and 3, the Duggar daughters' dating lives were examined. Or to use the proper terminology, their courting lives.

One of the Duggar family dating/courting rules is that couples be chaperoned, which means Jessa's siblings tag along on dates with her and Ben Seewald.

We saw the downside of this on 19 Kids and Counting Season 8 Episode 2, and not merely because the kids will prevent any possible making out.

When they take his truck, there's not even a third seat! That's a tight squeeze, but you'll never forget the chaperone is there this way ... so mission accomplished?

It's not just Jessa and Ben, either. Before Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard are married, they have to deal with this too. Even when her brother gets carsick!

Back to Ben and Jessa, they decided to go to a shooting range, where he was shown up by his date. That Jessa Duggar gun photo wasn't just for show!

After getting engaged last month, 19 Kids and Counting star Jessa Duggar is showing off her engagement ring from Ben Seewald in a new Instagram video.

The 21-year-old, who's the fifth eldest of those 19 children, posted a close-up of her finger, turning her hand to various angles to show off the ring.

"My beautiful engagement ring!" she captioned the video.

".75 carat diamond, 18 karat gold band. Gorgeous!"

Recorded with the backdrop of her green, manicured nails, the princess-cut diamond is set on a unique thin, waved band. Suffice it to say, nice work Ben!

Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald got engaged in August after 11 months together. "We are so blessed to be engaged!" the couple said in a statement.

"God has written an amazing story through our courtship, and another chapter has just begun! We are thrilled to see what the future holds - especially the wedding bells!"

Soon. The couple set a wedding date of November 1!

It's an exciting time for the expansive Duggar family, to say the least. Jessa will be the third Duggar to get married, and presumably have children.
