A day after getting arrested on new sex abuse charges, former Penn State assistant coach Jerry Sandusky has been released on bail.

Sources tell TMZ that Sandusky's wife wrote a $50,000 personal check to help make the $250,000 bond, with the rest coming out of Sandusky's real estate holdings.

The disgraced ex-coach - who is now accused of forcing himself on a young boy in his own basement, while the child screamed for help from Sandusky's wife - must remain at home, a court has ruled, and has been barred from contact with anyone related to the case.

Former Penn State defensive coordinator Jerry Sandusky has been arrested on nine new child abuse charges, courtesy of two new accusers who were not named in the Grand Jury report that originally indicted Sandusky on 40 counts of inappropriate sexual behavior.

The disgraced ex-coach was handcuffed and removed from his home earlier today.

"As in many of the other cases identified to date, the contact with Sandusky allegedly fit a pattern of ‘grooming’ victims," Attorney General officials say. "Beginning with outings to football games and gifts; they later included physical contact that escalated to sexual assaults.”

The two alleged victims were each under the of 12 when they met Sandusky and have told authorities his actions with them included: hugging, rubbing, cuddling, wrestling, oral sex and sexual assaults that took place in a pool and jacuzzi in a hotel near the Penn State campus.

Sandusky is being held in a county jail and his bail has been set at $250,000. He recently spoke to The New York Times and claimed he never performed sexual acts with children.

A few weeks after his first public statements since his arrest on sexual abuse charges - in which he admitted to showering with boys, but rejected any notion that he's a pedophile - former Penn State defensive coordinator Jerry Sandusky has spoken out again.

With 40 charges already filed against him, and with a new accuser coming forth this week, Sandusky told The New York Times:

"These allegations are false, I didn't do those things. I'm not the monster everyone made me out to be. I didn't engage in sexual acts."

The disgraced ex-coach will be in court on December 13 for a preliminary hearing, as he's currently charged with molesting eight kids over a 15-year period.

A new, anonymous accuser has stepped forward and released a statement that alleges prolonged abuse at the hands of Jerry Sandusky.

In a letter, the man - referred to at the moment as John Doe, and not one of the eight victims named in the grand jury report that led to an indictment of the former Penn State defensive coordinator on 40 counts of sexual abuse - says he met Sandusky through his Second Mile charity and cites over 100 inappropriate incidents between 1992 and 1996.

"I don’t want other kids to be hurt and abused by Jerry Sandusky or anybody like Penn State to allow people like him to do it—rape kids!" the statement reads. "I never told anybody what he did to me over 100 times at all kinds of places until the newspapers reported that he had abused other kids and the people at Penn State and Second Mile didn’t do the things they should have to protect me and the other kids."

This alleged victim is now 29 years old, says Sandusky threatened him with violence if he ever came forward and has filed a lawsuit against the disgraced ex coach.

A day after Jerry Sandusky gave a disturbing interview to Bob Costas - in which the former Penn State defensive coordinator admitted to showering with young boys - Mike McQueary has also made news for his role in the alleged cover-up of child molestation at the university.

McQueary is the assistant coach who, according to a grand jury report, walked in on Sandusky anally raping a 10-year old in a shower in 2002. He has come under extreme fire for going to his father about the incident, as opposed to the police, while also not actually stopping the act.

But a new email has surfaced, sent by McQueary to a reporter last week, in which the ex-coach says he DID break up the rape and DID speak to authorities about what he witnessed. This is what it reads:

You are the first person I have told this ... and I don't know you extremely well ... and I have been told bye (sic) officials to not say anything...

I did stop it, not physically ... but made sure it was stopped when I left that locker room ... I did have discussions with the official at the university in charge of police ... no one can imagine my thoughts or wants to be in my shoes for those 30-45 seconds...trust me.

Do with this what you want ... but I am getting hammered for handling this the right way ... or what I thought at the time was right ... I had to make tough impacting quick decisions.

What an enormous, tragic mess.

Monday night, former Penn State defensive coordinator Jerry Sandusky broke his silence on the stunning sexual abuse scandal that has roiled the university.

Facing 40 counts of sexual abuse against eight boys over a 15-year span, the former coach granted an exclusive interview with Bob Costas on NBC's Rock Center.

Despite admitting he showered with boys, Sandusky maintained his innocence and rejected the term "pedophile," amid some intense questioning by Costas:

The scandal led to the firing of Joe Paterno and Penn State's president. But it's Sandusky at the center of the allegations, and in a word, they are disturbing.

Sandusky had to pause and think before answering Costas' question, "Are you sexually attracted to young boys," in his first interview since the scandal broke.

Costas, who was interviewing Sandusky's lawyer, Joseph Amendola, before the coach himself got on the phone, proved he's one of the finest journalists around.

Handling the situation with professionalism, but also with brutal honestly, he succinctly asked the accused very tough questions that are on everyone's mind.

Jerry Sandusky, the former defensive coordinator at Penn State who faces 40 counts of sexual abuse charges against a total of eight young boys, is featured on tonight's Rock Center with Brian Williams.

The man in the middle of that university's scandal speaks to Bob Costas and admits to excerpts from the 23-page grand jury report, specifically that has has showered with youths under the care of his Second Mile charity.

"I could say that I have done some of those things. I have horsed around with kids I have showered after workouts. I have hugged them and I have touched their legs without intent of sexual contact," said Sandusky.
