It's only fitting that after Beyonce gave birth to the world's most anticipated baby in ... well, a long time, Jay-Z has come up with the greatest baby gift ever.

After Bey welcomed the couple's daughter Saturday, Jay has made a delivery of his own: A song titled “Glory,” which he released on his blog Life+Times.

The soul-inflected song is an ode to newly born Blue Ivy Carter, who makes her world music debut with an adorable bit of gentle crying at the end.

The song’s other guest vocalist is Pharrell Williams. Take a listen below!

Just one day after Beyonce gave birth, her famous BFF has clarified a major detail online, revealing the correct name of Bey's beautiful newborn daughter.

Some sources reported the name one way, while others flipped the little one's first and middle names. But thanks to Gwyneth's Tweet, we know ...

It's Blue Ivy Carter, not Ivy Blue Carter!

It's all semantics really. We liked the name Ivy Blue, but Blue Ivy also has a cool, different ring to it. More importantly, she has two very loving, protective parents.

Not to mention, she's already one of the most famous celebrity babies of all time. We can't wait until the photos are released in the tabloids ... which won't happen.

Ever.

This is a couple that waited years to confirm they were even married. Wait, that didn't even take place. Public records proved it, not the couple. You get the idea!

Beyonce gave birth to a beautiful baby girl yesterday.

Seriously, it happened. This isn't just a Twitter rumor.

Ivy Blue Carter was born in New York City via c-section.

Aww. Beyonce famously announced her pregnancy on stage at MTV's Video Music Awards back in August, and since then, fan anticipation for the baby has grown by the day.

Proud dad Jay-Z, whose real name is Shawn Carter, was at the hospital where Beyonce gave birth to Ivy. Shortly thereafter, congratulations came pouring in.

Rihanna wrote, "Welcome to the world princess Carter! Love Aunty Rih." Russell Simmons Tweeted simply, "Congrats to my good friends Beyonce and Jay-Z."

SO much so that Twitter even tried to name the baby girl Tiana May Carter last month. We think they picked out a nicer name themselves in Ivy Blue. Agree?

NOTE: Conflicting reports, including from MSNBC and E!, say the name is actually Blue Ivy Carter. The couple's going to have to clear this up at some point!

Sometimes, not knowing your celebrity gossip will hurt you.

Apparently, an Ohio man PAID THE PRICE for not knowing Beyonce and Jay-Z got married a few years ago, getting stabbed on New Year Eve as a result.

Ronald Deaver, 31, of Parma, Oh., was arrested and charged with felonious assault for allegedly stabbing a 48-year-old man following an argument.

Police detectives told a local Fox station that the fight began because the victim did not know that singer Beyonce's husband is rapper Jay-Z. Really.

Officials were called following the stabbing and the victim was quickly taken to a local hospital. He was later transferred to another facility and is in good condition.

No word on whether the two men knew each other, whether alcohol was involved, why the attacker got so mad, or if the victim knows Beyonce is still pregnant.

Despite what Twitter tries to convince us with its "Beyonce gives birth" proclamations, and as cute as the name Tiana May Carter might be, Beyonce is still pregnant.

One of the most hyped celebrity babies of all time has yet to arrive. 

You can't believe everything that you read on social media. Beyonce and Jay Z were totally spotted dining at Brooklyn's Buttermilk Channel on New Year's Eve.

Her baby bump was present and accounted for. Rumor quashed.

Jay-Z and Beyonce's baby is due in February.

The rumor started after the luxurious birthing suite at New York City's St. Luke's hospital was reserved last week, and "hospital staff" claimed it was for Beyonce.

Gossip spread like wildfire online, as these things have a way of doing, but rest assured, the beautiful bun in that oven will be baking for another month or so.

If that changes - or if Twitter tries to induce labor early - we'll let you know.

Rumors about Beyonce giving birth are currently blowing up Twitter, but have yet to be confirmed by the singer, husband Jay-Z, or any reputable source for that matter.

So ... there you are.

The (very possibly made-up) consensus seems to be that Beyonce welcomed a girl into the world this week, and that the little bundle of joy is named Tiana-May Carter.

Twitter makes up cute names at least.

The rumors we've read online - again, these are just rumors from social media, not even celebrity gossip sources - say she was taken to St. Luke's Hospital in New York City, and overnight, word spread that she had delivered a daughter.

Multiple outlets have picked up the story, but all cited the growing buzz on Twitter as the source and nothing more. She's due in February, so it's probably baseless chatter at this point, but also not impossible for her to give birth early.

Twitter also made Jon Bon Jovi dead recently. At least this is a nicer rumor.

Either way, the final countdown, which began after Beyonce's pregnancy reveal at the MTV VMAs, to the birth of the most famous celebrity babies in years is either over, or close to being over. We'll keep you posted as we learn more!

Jay-Z is getting in touch with his feminine side these days.

The 42-year-old dad-to-be is supporting Beyonce's pregnancy any way he can - and that includes dieting with her! The duo are maintaining a "partially vegan diet" and that "Jay's trying to be disciplined, and he needs the energy to support her," Us says.

If that's even halfway true, it's pretty sweet.

Beyonce, 30, isn't going to let herself go just because she's expecting, even if she is eating for two these days. "I've been really conscious [about food]," she said.

"I've been trying my best not to lose control!"

Jay and Beyonce's commitment to healthy living seems to be paying off in more ways than one. A source they were dancing up a storm at Hollywood's Spare Room club: "They were loved up and sweet together [and] partied until 4 a.m.!"

Whatever "loved up" means, it sounds romantic. The next night, the paid hung out with Serena Williams, Kanye West and friends at Watch The Throne's afterparty.

Who said pregnancy would slow her down? Always great to hear about this awesome couple. They haven't revealed the sex of the baby, but it's totally a girl.

The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show did not lack for star power Tuesday night, on the catwalk or off. Among the big name acts to perform: Kanye West.

West gave a short, sweet tribute to his late mom before performing "Stronger" and later on teamed with Jay-Z to perform their song ”N!ggas in Paris.”

"In 2007 I was supposed to perform this song on this show, and I lost my superhero. Now she is my super angel," said Kanye of the late Donda West.

The Victoria's Secret angels proceeded to walk the runway as West performed. Symbolism, people. Deep stuff. Then he and Jay rocked the house.

Looks like Jay-Z may now be up to 100 problems.

After a perceived attempt to cash in on the populist Occupy Wall Street protests through the sale of T-shirts with the slogan "Occupy All Streets" for $22, the duds were removed from the "Otis" rapper's Rocawear website Saturday with no explanation.

All in a 48-hour span. So what happened?

Jay-Z came under fire after it was reported that Rocawear didn't plan to donate any of the proceeds from the sales to the Occupy Wall Street movement he claims to support.

That fact was later confirmed by his label.

"The 'Occupy All Streets' shirt was created in support of the Occupy Wall Street movement," a Rocawear rep said in a statement Friday. "Rocawear strongly encourages all forms of constructive expression, whether it be artistic, political or social."

Chris Brown's VMA performance was, by all accounts, one of the highlights of the night, and one that left most people in the crowd on their feet.

Jay-Z is not most people, however.

Everyone from Kanye West to Justin Bieber stood up and cheered, but Jay-Z just sat there expressionless, not even smiling as Brown did his thing.

Of course, Jay has other things on his mind - what with Beyonce pregnant and all - but he remains tight with Rihanna, a singer he made famous.
