Baller. Jay-Z summed up in one word.

Already responsible for one of Sunday night's best on-air moments when he zinged The-Dream, HOV was also seen backstage drinking some cognac.

Out of a physical Grammy Award.

What else are you gonna do after you've performed with Justin Timberlake and picked up three Grammys. Celebrate like a BOSS, that's what.

The man deserves a drink ...

Jay-Z dropped the zinger of the night on The-Dream at the Grammy Awards Sunday night, turning a quick acceptance speech into an LOL moment.

After Frank Ocean and Terius "The-Dream" Nash accepted the award for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration ("No Church in the Wild"), Jay-Z leaned in:

"I want to thank the swap meet for his hat," the rapper said into the mic, mocking Nash's thoroughly absurd headgear and drawing roars from the crowd.

Earlier last night, Jay-Z made an appearance on stage during Justin Timberlake's Grammy performance, rapping with his "Suit and Tie" collaborator.

This may have been his top moment of the evening, though.

It's safe to say that Justin Timberlake is back and better than ever.

He showed zero rust after taking seven years off from music to focus on his acting career, wowing the 2013 Grammy Awards crowd with a six-minute performance.

Dressed to kill in a tux and accompanied by a horn section, JT belted out his new hit “Suit and Tie” - with a little help from Jay-Z - and flashed his signature moves:

He wasn't done for the night. After the show, Justin released another track off of The 20/20 Experience (which hits stores March 19) called "Mirrors."

Take a listen to it after the jump!

Amanda Bynes is back in the news, for even more random and head-scratching reasons than usual. She took a shot at Jay-Z of all people, amazingly.

The troubled 26-year-old posted a Tweet reading "ugly face" and then linking to a photo of the rap mogul ... then deleted it from her feed a bit later.

  • Amanda Bynes: Hot
  • Jay-Z Image

Could Amanda Bynes' Twitter account have been hacked? Or did she simply share a random thought about Jay-Z before she thought better of it?

Probably the latter.

In an interesting bit of movie news, one other than Jay-Z will be working with the Bullitts to score Baz Luhrmann's The Great Gatsby movie, according to reports.

Bey and Jay

Luhrmann played Jay-Z's music during rehearsals for the forthcoming film and used Watch the Throne's "No Church in the Wild" in the film's first two trailers.

Prince and Lady Gaga wrote songs for the film as well, so it's unclear if those will be out of the picture or played in addition to Jay's overall score.

Also, no word if he will start going by the name Great Gats-Z.

Reason #3948730 why Jay Z is boss: a video has surfaced of HOV making friends with an elderly woman on the NYC subway.

Mr. Carter was riding the subway to his final performance at Brooklyn's Barclays Center, when he chose a seat next to 67-year old Ellen Grossman.

Obviously taking note of the legions of screaming fans on the train and massive bodyguards, the unknowing Grossman asks Jay if he's famous. Adorableness ensues:

The Washington Post interviewed Grossman interviewed Grossman about her experience meeting the music megastar. The clip is part of a 24-minute documentary called "Where I'm From" about Jay Z's series of Barclays concerts.

With election day now upon us, Beyonce Knowles has some kind thoughts to share with fans about her preferred presidential candidate, Barack Obama.

Meanwhile, her husband Jay-Z rapped his support for Obama at an Ohio rally:

The R&B singer posted a handwritten letter on Monday to the 44th U.S. president on her website praising his leadership and expressing her support:

"Everyday we see your heart and character, inspiring all of us to give more of ourselves. You are the leader to take us from where we are to where we need to be."
