Losing out on DeAnna during the heartbreaking season finale of The Bachelorette does not mean he failed to win over millions of American viewers - on the contrary, Jason became the most popular star in the storied history of The Bachelor franchise when he became its star in January 2009.
But, like his Bachelorette finale, Jason's Bachelor turn ended in a bit of controversy after he chose Melissa Rycroft as his mate, then changed his mind and turned to runner-up Molly Malaney on the "After the Final Rose" special.
Jason and Molly got engaged in October 2009. Melissa became a tabloid sensation as a result, but she went on to star on Dancing with the Stars, and we are very happy for Jason and Molly, as she seems very cute and nice.
