Mad Men star January Jones welcomed her first child on Tuesday, People confirms.
Xander Dane Jones and the new mom are both "doing great," January's rep says.
Jones, 33, announced the pregnancy in April, but chose to keep the sex of her baby under wraps, remarking "it's going to be a surprise for me."
Also unknown to anyone but January and one other person? The father, who is rumored to be a married man. "She’s really looking forward to this new chapter in her life as a single mom," her rep said earlier this year.
In any case, congratulations to the actress!

Zach Galifianakis on January Jones: Rude, Undoable!
Zach Galifianakis is bound to make audiences laugh in The Hangover Part II, as evidenced by that film's official trailer.
But the actor grew serious over the weekend when asked for his thoughts on January Jones. He told Shortlist about an encounter with the Mad Men star:
"if I remember correctly, she and I were very rude to each other. It was crazy. I was at a party - I'd never met her - and she was like, 'Come sit down.' So I sit at her table and talk for 10 minutes, and she goes, 'I think it's time for you to leave now.'"
And how did the funny man reply?
"I say, 'January, you are an actress in a show and everybody's going to forget about you in a few years, so f--king be nice' and I got up and left."
January Jones Dishes on Diet, Therapy, Love of Sharks
January Jones is knocked up. But the identity of her baby's father is just about the only topic this Mad Men star does not address in the latest issue of Allure.

On pushing for a congressional bill to outlaw shark finning: “I only had to sleep with 15 to 20 congressmen, took one for the team.”
On eating habits: "I’ll stop at McDonald’s and get a strawberry shake and fries and not feel guilty at all, because I deserve it.”
In experience with therapy: "I was traveling so much, and I just needed to make sure I was grounded and had someone to talk to. She talked more than I did, which was hilarious and great and fun. I really like her. It was like having a girlfriend. But I’m not going to give her $300 an hour to have the same conversation I could have with my girlfriend.”

The Mad Men star, who was most recently linked to Jason Sudeikis, didn't reveal the identity of her baby daddy, but her rep did release a statement that reads:
"January Jones is happy to announce that she is expecting her first child this fall. She's really looking forward to this new chapter in her life as a single mom."
Mad Men premieres its fifth season on AMC in early 2012.

The Saturday Night Live star and January Jones have split, sources confirm, ending a six month fling. Insiders tell Us Weekly that Sudeikis was actually the one getting flak for the relationship from pals:
"His friends don't understand why he's dating her. They call her an airhead behind his back. She doesn't get their jokes. They've only known him to date smart, funny women."
Well, we all make an exception sometimes. Jones may not have a great sense of humor, but look at her. Sudeikis likely got the last laugh among his buddies.
