After a mediocre samba and poor finish in the group swing marathon, you knew Jake Pavelka was running on fumes. Last night, he sputtered out.

Kicked off Dancing with the Stars after a six-week run, he now knows how those aspiring wives who went home each week without a rose felt like.

Oh, wait, he was kicked off The Bachelorette too. Never mind.

"This is, I think, the best season of Dancing With [the] Stars I've seen," Jake Pavelka said of his experience. "I was so honored to be here."

"I enjoyed every second. I want to thank Texas, I want to thank all the Mavericks fans, Canada, all the tweets, Facebook ... thank you for keeping me here for six episodes. I can't even put it into words how much I enjoyed this."

Where, oh where, will Jake resurface on reality TV next?

To partner Chelsie Hightower, who kinda resembles another certain petite blond Jake loves, he said: "You're one of my best friends. I have loved every second of this."

"I love you. Thank you for being so great to my beautiful fiancée."

Aww. Speaking of said fiancee, don't worry about the elimination, Jake. You had a pretty good run, and at least you have Vienna Girardi to go home to.

On second thought, maybe that is worth crying over. Just kidding ... sort of. We're not shocked Jake was booted last night, just that he's still engaged!

Long hours. Intense pressure. No pants. Jake Pavelka can endure that. Handling the "popularity contest" that is Dancing with the Stars? He's got issues there.

"I think dancing-wise, I've been doing OK," The Bachelor star said. "The thing I wasn't really prepared for was this is a little bit of a popularity contest!"

"I've been focusing 150 percent of my energy on learning dancing and neglecting the 25 million people who don't know they have to vote to keep you on."

Only 150 percent, Jake? Might wanna kick it up to 175, dog.

"Look at the competition," he says, "and [Chad] Ochocinco has 800,000 people on his twitter! I have 16,000. By the way, my twitter is @JakePavelka1."

Yeah.

Solid plug, J. He does raise a valid point, though many fans do vote for who they like (hence, Kate Gosselin lasted five weeks). Still, Jake feels he's up against it.

"It seems like everyone else is established in Hollywood, or they've walked on the moon, or run touchdowns for the Bengals. Everybody has a huge personality."

Well, the show is Dancing with the Stars, man. It's not Dancing with Peeps From Other Reality Shows and Celebrity Gossip Tabloids So We Can Boost Ratings.

The future Mr. Vienna Girardi, who was "shocked" he landed in the bottom two at one point, has stayed out of it the past two weeks as the field has narrowed.

Hey, what do you know, it's a story about a quasi-famous reality TV star who was then cast on Dancing With the Stars and is now clashing with their partner.

Jake Pavelka, everybody!

According to sources, Jake has been a "jerk" who makes Chelsie Hightower cry. Her offense? Pointing out things he's doing wrong in rehearsal. The nerve.

Also a source of strife? Vienna Girardi. Jake's "clingy" fiancee from The Bachelor is always on the set, supposedly, and Chelsie is reportedly getting fed up.

Now that Vienna somehow scored a job as a reporter for Extra, covering DWTS no less, we don't foresee that situation getting any better anytime soon.

Even co-host Brooke Burke admits the tension between the trio is growing "week to week." Will it only escalate if Jake Pavelka advances deep this season?

We can only hope. The burden of entertaining us with bad dancing and diva behavior has fallen squarely upon Kate Gosselin until now. Gal needs a break!

Continuing its time-honored tradition of making reporters out of D-list celebrities with no redeeming qualities, the celebrity gossip show has given a job to ...

... Vienna Girardi!

That's right, Jake Pavelka's fiancee is joining Extra as a reporter. Rachel Uchitel, Tiger Woods mistress and fellow new Extra employee, would be so proud.

"I start my new job today as Ms. Vienna Girardi Extra TV Report[er]," the Floridia native posted on Twitter Monday. "My first interview is with DWTS tonight!"

Isn't that a conflict of interest or something?

Girardi teased on Facebook over the weekend that she'd have a "big surprise for everyone on Monday." Guess she wasn't talking that story on her drug lord ex.

The former Hooters waitress and topless model recently moved to L.A. with Pavelka to support her pilot fiance while he competes on Dancing With the Stars.

Now her annoying a$$ will be supporting him on camera and off.

Former Bachelorette star Jillian Harris didn't care for Vienna Girardi.

She's not the only one, either. The woman chosen by Bachelor star Jake Pavelka, who Jillian turned down on her season, was not exactly a fan favorite.

But after getting to know Vienna Girardi, Jillian's changed her tune.

“She’s a doll. I like her as a person,” Harris said. “I saw how she brought out a better side of him.” As for the best advice she can give Jake and Vienna?

Tune out celebrity gossip!

“What happens on the internet or on TV, or the speculations that people make does not define the outcome of our life,” said Harris. So deep. Profound.

Harris, who battled rumors of Ed Swiderski, her fiance from The Bachelorette, railing various girls during his stint on the show, says she filters out the noise.

Also, she says to give love time.

“You don’t really fall in love until 3-6 months after the show ends,” she said. “Luckily with Ed, we are a lot alike, we have the same values, we have the same upbringing ... While we met on the show, I really fell in love with him after.”

Jillian Harris and Ed Swiderski are still engaged, although they have not set a wedding date as of yet. Will she and Ed beat Jake and Vienna to the altar?

Either way, she's settling into her new home of Chicago, where Ed works as a computer software consultant when he's not molesting Lindsey Johnson.

Not our words, or Jon Gosselin's. That's how Kate was described by judge Bruno Tonioli on Dancing with the Stars. Sadly, that was as good as their critiques got.

While her Paso Doble set to "Paparazzi" by Lady Gaga wasn't a travesty on par with her previous two efforts, it was scored similarly. And badly. Kate can't cut it.

She can, however, take out her frustrations on a punching bag pretty well. The stoic mom wasn't acting there, but her attempt to play a character on the floor?

"That was odd," Carrie Ann Inaba opined. "It was very hard to watch."

The judges stopped just shy of overtly telling America not to vote for Kate Gosselin again this week, although Buzz Aldrin actually recevied slightly lower scores.

We'll see if she survives tonight. Another performer who set off fireworks before even taking the stage Monday? Jake Pavelka, for feuding with a certain blonde.

No, not airhead fiancee Vienna Girardi. Jake and partner Chelsie Hightower butted heads before doing the quickstep and racking up a not-shabby score of 21.

Guess Jake Pavelka and Vienna Girardi really are getting married.

The Bachelor star and new Dancing with the Stars cast member is not just engaged to his final rose recipient, he's already planning the big day - and wants DWTS partner Chelsie Hightower is going to choreograph their first wedding dance.

After the Dancing With the Stars season opener, a happy Jake said Chelsie is "going to plan the dance." Vienna echoed, "She is! She's choreographing our first dance."

That will be quite the first dance. Chelsie, whose own career began on So You Think You Can Dance three seasons ago, helped Jake to a respectable opening showing.

Imagine what she can do with more advance planning!

No word on an official wedding date being set for Jake and Vienna yet, or to what reality show Jake Pavelka will jump once he is kicked off Dancing With the Stars.

Despite not being actual celebrities, and only gaining their fame through other reality shows as themselves, Kate Gosselin and Jake Pavelka are among the bigger names on this season of Dancing with the Stars, premiering tonight on ABC.

Kate has at least one fan pulling for her, too.

"Just met Kate Gosselin. Super nice!" The Bachelor star Twittered in typical lame, upbeat fashion. "I'm impressed the negative media hasn't affected her spirit."

Jake Pavelka continued his gushing over her: "Kate's a great person. I was happy to see her having fun with Tony [Dovolani], her dance partner," he Tweeted.

Of his partner Chelsie Hightower, Jake said: "Just finished almost 7hr practice. She kicked my butt, elbowed my eye and put me through the ringer! Felt Great!"

Which couple will advance farther on Dancing with the Stars?

Good to hear, Jake. Coming down to the wire, he writes: "It's crunch time now... Im getting an orangy colored spray tan. For camera purposes of course. LOL!"

LOL is right.

Pavelka's mom and dad are in Los Angeles to support his dance debut, and they're spending some quality time with his chosen Bachelor fiancee, Vienna Girardi.

"Had dinner at Asia de cuba with Jake's parents. Such amazing food," Girardi Twittered Sunday, adding that she and Jake are officially living together in L.A. "We moved in last night to our apartment. Love the area. Hate the traffic."

Jake, Kate, Erin Andrews, Chad Ochocinco, Buzz Aldrin and the rest of DWTS' Season 10 cast will cut a rug this evening on the hit show's opening night.

Jake Pavelka burst onto The Hollywood Gossip scene via The Bachelorette. Then starred on The Bachelor, then immediately joined the cast of Dancing with the Stars.

Three reality shows in less than a year. Pretty impressive for a guy who claims to be a commercial pilot. In any case, Jake's pursuit of D-list stardom will not cease!

The Bachelor star Jake Pavelka has totally been hitting on women not named Vienna Girardi since the show, according to a scandalous, unsubstantiated new report.

At a January Dallas Mavericks basketball game, an attractive young woman caught the eye of the pilot, who got engaged to Vienna on the season finale beforehand.

A witness says that Jake followed her from her seat to the concession stand where he dropped the ultimate pickup line: "You might have seen me on a TV show."

What a smooth operator. He followed that up with "I think you are so beautiful, and you shouldn't be standing here alone." Man, this guy has a way with women.

Jake Pavelka was rebuffed, however, as the woman in question turned out to be engaged, and her "beefy fiance" put the kibosh on The Bachelor's advances.

Has Jake already been straying from Vienna? Or trying to?

Other sources say Pavelka isn't as serious as his bride-to-be Girardi when the cameras are off: "Everything he's ever done has been with the goal of getting to the next level," one source says, and you won't believe what level he means.

When the religious star embarked on The Bachelor taping, he claimed to have "zero intention" of marrying any of the Bachelorettes. A source reports that he told his girlfriend Tanya Douglas that his goal was completely spiritual.

"He told her he was going to lead 25 women to God," the insider claims.

That quote has a greater chance of being real than Jake has of actually walking down the aisle with Vienna (even if they talk a good game about procreating hard).
