as a man who has found the right woman, felt the spark, i can say i know why jake chose vienna. it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks about the choice he made. he is too polite to explain it. the fact is, and any guy out there who has been there, done that knows, when sexual attraction is extremely high and mutual, the turgidity of a man tells him "this is the woman who turns him on the most". it's like a magnet and steel. the closer we get, the faster we move towards each other. who cares what anyone says when you, as a man, feel this. it's really as if you turn to steel. jake has steel for vienna, end of story.

My friends and I watched your show religiously. We were very upset with the ending and we think that Vienna is a white-trash whore who you picked up from the slums of Florida. Can you imagine what family reunions would be like? Her alligator slinging father would try to one-up your "not-so-talkative" father while Vienna is fighting with your sister in laws and you and your brothers stand shitless as you attempt to console your mother for making such a bad decision. Tenley was your girl. Ali was also your girl. You settled. I'm sorry for the harsh comments, but things need to be said. Either ABC did a terrible job at showing Vienna's personality, or you are just not the guy we all had hope you would be. Very sad, Jake.

I think Jake seemed like a great guy at the beginning, but now I am looking or him or perhaps the producers of the show as village idiots......the drama, the lies, the deceptions - is this for ratings or what? I cannot stand Vienna and I think perhaps Jake should think with his brain instead of another part of his body. I can honestly tell you if he picks Vienna (looks like an employee of Hooters), I will give up on watching the show. It was great at the beginning, but you don't have to try so hard or be so dramatic. If Jake is truly looking for a wife, then don't you think he should investigate why everyone can't stand Vienna. Don't you think his friends and family will evenutally feel the same if he picks her.............COME ON!
