Jack Black is Funny. And Jolly. And Pudgy.

We talk frequently about celebrity look-alikes who we swear have to be distantly related, but this set of mind blowing photos has us questioning everything.

Somewhere in a bygone era, was there a historical figure who looked JUST like us? Are we all reincarnates of others who walked the Earth ages ago?

The similarities between these 19 celebrities and their long (long) lost doppelgangers are simultaneously hilarious, eye-popping and somehow real.

From U.S. Presidents to war heroes, Popes to works of Renaissance art, and regular folks whose names we'll never know, these look-alikes will astound you.

Who knew Jay Z was a fixture of Harlem in 1939, or that Nicolas Cage fought in the Civil War? Or that Keanu Reeves really travels through time a la Bill & Ted?

Now you do, people. Now you do.

Alec Baldwin and Former President Millard Fillmore
Former U.S. President Millard Fillmore and Alec Baldwin may be from the same bloodline. Or so these photos would have you assume.

What's in a name? As it turns out, maybe everything.

Since Shakespeare first posited the question in Romeo and Juliet, actors have been using fake names to land professional roles. Not only did it allow them some semblance of privacy before the dawn of Wikipedia, but let's face it, some people just aren't born with great names.

Ella Maria Lani Yelich-O'Connor? Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta? Quite a mouthful.

If an actor or musician's entire career is dedicated to being someone else - a character or personality, perhaps - then a good stage name can go a long way to making that career explode.

More celebrities use pseudonyms than you might think. In fact, here are 67 stars who don't use their real names. Which ones did you know before viewing this gallery?

Lorde
Musical sensation Lorde was given the name Ella Maria Lani Yelich-O'Connor at birth. We'd probably go with Lorde, too.

Jack Black took the stage with a Queen cover band in concert on June 23, belting out the lyrics to "Bohemian Rhapsody." Suffice it to say, the guy is awesome.

The actor was at the Protomen show at the Exit/In theater in Nashville, Tenn., when the tribute group broke into the song and asked him to participate.

About three minutes into the classic rock staple, the group called The Muppets star, who's also half of the band Tenacious D, on stage to sing back up vocals.

The crowd went wild. Watch Jack rock the house below:

Gulliver's Travels stars Jack Black and Jason Segel are as musically gifted as they are hilarious on screen. The actors have teamed up for an animated take on Bowie and Crosby's spin on two Christmas classics, and for a good cause!

The duo will donate all proceeds from the single, "Peace On Earth / Little Drummer Boy 2010" to Blue Star Families, a non-profit for military families.

Last night, Carmelo Anthony scored 34 points as the Denver Nuggets evened their series with the Los Angeles Lakers with a 106-103 win in Game Two.

It was a tough loss, but Kobe Bryant and the Lake Show remain the #1 game in town. Here's Tom Cruise and son Connor Cruise at last night's game:

CRUISE CONTROL: Tom and Connor are locked in on NBA action.

While Los Angeles' pro baseball team has been making a strong case of late (check out our gallery of celebrity Dodger fans), L.A. Lakers games at Staples Center remain the hottest sports spot for celebrities from A-List to Spencer Pratt.

In celebrity baby news that doesn't involve emergency room visits (hope you're okay, Jayden James!), a pair of stars are expecting a child with their loved ones.

First up, Jack Black and wife Tanya Haden are adding another kid to their family.

Awkward Oscar Moment

"Yes, she's expecting," Black told reporters at the Be Kind Rewind press day at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills.

The two are already parents to a 1½-year-old boy.

Meanwhile, rapper T.I. and his occasional girlfriend Tameka Cottle (of the '90s R&B group Xscape), are expecting another child together.

This will be the fifth child for T.I. and his second with Cottle. We hope they take lessons from Britney Spears on how NOT to parent.

When Kristin Cavallari attended the premiere of Tenacious D, she probably expected catcalls and lame pickup lines from passersby. After all, the former Laguna Beach star is a hot commodity these days (we despise Jason Wahler).

Kristin was probably caught off guard, however, when she was hit on by the star of Tenacious D himself, Jack Black, who beckoned her from inside the official movie poster. While his pickup line of choice was certainly blunt, we do admire the use of lyrics from "F*%k Her Gently," a song by Tenacious D (the band). That Jack Black sure is a character. A discreet character.

Stop the hate mail already! We know there are other celebrity babies out there besides Sean Preston, Kingston, etc.! Not every celebrity baby could fit on our exclusive poll, however. There is simply not enough room, and few parents have the intrigue of Britney Spears. But that doesn't mean we can't do stories about the "other" celebrity babies, too.

See below for Exhibit A: Jack Black, wife Tanya Hayden and three-month-old Sammy. While he would certainly give Shiloh, Maddox or Suri a run for their money in a cuteness competition, you don't hear a lot about him. You da man, Sam!

This picture was taken at the unveiling of director Michel Gondry's The Science of Sleep" sculpture exhibit Sunday in New York City. The installation features film sets from the movie of the same name, starring Gael García Bernal and opening in limited release September 22.

Hey, Shakira will be there, so we already planned on tuning in. Now, a host has been named, though, and he promises that the show will be a "rip-snortin' humdinger"

"I am Jables, hear me roar," said Jack Black, tapped to lead the ceremony and referring to his nickname when he performs with his two-man band, Tenacious D.

MTV president Christina Norman called Black the "perfect mix of comedy, rock, irreverence and star power."

The Gossip calls Lindsay Lohan the "perfect mix of wasted space, promiscuous proclivity, irrelevence and red hair."

The VMAs will air live on Aug. 31 from New York City's Radio City Music Hall, as Shakira and the Red Hot Chili Peppers lead the list of nominees.

We congratulate Black on the birth of his celebrity baby, but assume the tyke will be left at home for the evening.
