Ian Somerhalder got his big break as the character of Boone on Lost.
In the spring of 2009, it was announced that he'd help anchor a wildly-anticipated show on The CW, The Vampire Diaries.
Somerhalder modeling when he was 10, as he'd been the face of Calvin Klein, Dolce & Gabanna, Gucci, Versace and Guess. By 17, Ian began studying acting in New York City.
Aside from the aforementioned shows, Somerhalder has appeared in CSI: Miami and Smallville.
