The annoying magician got Hugh Hefner's ex a diamond ring for her birthday last week - but it wasn't that kind of ring, Angel says.

“Everybody is going to think the ring is an engagement ring when they see it. Don’t let all the rumors start... when I do get engaged, I’d have a much bigger ring that would really be bank-busting expensive."

Ever since she was invited to move into the Playboy Mansion and become one of Hugh Hefner's seven girlfriends in August 2001, Holly Madison has become an institution at the men's magazine, both in print and on TV - and to the delight of many!

She's risen to fame along with Kendra Wilkinson and Bridget Marquardt, and although she broke up with Hef - Criss Angel of all people is now seeing Holly Madison naked - we'd like to wish his former #1 girlfriend a happy 30th birthday!

When 2008 began, the girlfriends of Hugh Hefner could be counted on one hand: there was Holly Madison, the Playboy founder's number-one piece of tail; Kendra Wilkinson, the woman with the most annoying laugh on television; and Bridget Marquardt, the other one.

Soon enough, however, the exploits of these models became too much for a single reality show to handle.

Holly remained in the news by posing naked a lot and then having the awful taste to date Criss Angel; Kendra got engaged to NFL player Hank Baskett, and Bridget continued to exist.

Once these ladies established lives outside of the Playboy Mansion, they had to be replaced. Enter Karissa and Kristina Shannon, along with a series of arrests, obnoxious attitudes and, of course, very little clothing.

With 2008 coming to an end, a new Girl Next Door has even popped up: Dasha Astafieva will grace the cover of Playboy's 55th anniversary issue. Rumors have already circulated that she slept with Hefner while he was dating Holly, Kendra and Bridget.

Holly Madison considers herself a fresh-faced beauty. Literally!

Madison says she's wearing less make-up these days, and she cites her split with Hugh Hefner as the reason.

"I think the breakup is partially the reason," the model told Life & Style, regarding the basis for her diminished use of foundation, fake eye lashes and lip gloss. "The truth is, I barely wear lip gloss anymore because I'm always making out with my boyfriend, so it comes off in two-and-a-half seconds... Apparently, I wasn't making out with Hef as much."

That boyfriend, of course, is shady magician Criss Angel.

"He doesn't like me in a lot of make-up and I appreciate that," said Holly.

We wonder if she also appreciates his past affinity for risky sex. Angel has been previously linked to Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan.

Holly Madison and Kendra Wilkinson are much more than two-thirds of the occasional threesome.

These two Playboy models are true friends, as Kendra has asked Holly to serve as a bridesmaid in her wedding to Hank Baskett.

"I'm really excited about it," Madison said. "If she needs any help planning, I'll pitch in. It's going to be a really great event – it's going to be amazing."

Holly added that she can see a difference in her often-naked pal since she started dating the Eagles wide receiver.

"Ever since they met, I've just seen a difference in Kendra: she's matured, she's a more compassionate, considerate person," said Madison. "She's just grown up so much and just to see what he brings out in her is just amazing."

Holly herself, meanwhile, has found a new man: creepy-looking magician Criss Angel.

"I'm really, really happy," Madison said about the rumored ex-lover of Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan and others. "He's really, really fun, really sweet – he's so amazing to be around."

Kendra Wilkinson and Holly Madison don't need Hugh Hefner in order to make news.

The former girlfriends of the Playboy founder were spotted out recently, sharing a walk, a coffee and, we can only imagine, a thoughtful discussion on a number of topics.

The Playboy founder's ex-girlfriend has gone public with new squeeze Criss Angel. Holly Madison was spotted with her man at LAX Nightclub in Las Vegas Saturday night, looking almost as old as her former lover. Years in the spotlight haven't been very kind to the often-naked model.

Holly Madison was Hef's #1 girlfriend in the Playboy Mansion, but she says she'd be happy playing second fiddle on Kendra Wilkinson's wedding day.

"I told her a better be a bridesmaid," Madison said of her former co-star on The Girls Next Door, who it appears haven't been next door in some time.

Wilkinson's engagement to Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Hank Baskett was announced Thursday by her famous ex, Playboy founder Hugh Hefner.

Frequently-nude, one-time rivals and fellow Hugh Hefner playthings Kendra Wilkinson and Holly Madison have had their differences, but both are in happy places now.

Following the performance, Angel and Madison headed to a private after-party, hand-in-hand, heart-to-heart. Awww!
