Secretary of State Hillary Clinton engaged in some heated exchanges Wednesday with U.S. Senators during her testimony about the attack in Benghazi, Libya.

Facing scrutiny from Republicans in particular, Clinton took exception to Ron Johnson (R-WI) and his pointed inquiry into the State Department's initial reports:

Johnson was referring to reports that the September 11, 2012 attack that killed four Americans was a spontaneous reaction to an anti-Islam YouTube video.

"With all due respect, the fact is we had four dead Americans," Clinton responded, raising her voice at Johnson, who continued to interrupt her.

U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton choked up today while testifying before Congress about the attack that left four Americans dead in Benghazi, Libya.

"I stood next to President Obama as the Marines carried those flag-draped caskets off the plane at Andrews," Clinton said, her voice hoarse with emotion.

"I put my arms around the mothers and fathers, sisters and brothers, sons and daughters."

A gift of a helmet was presented to Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton after she returned to work following a month-long absence for health-related issues.

One stomach virus, one concussion and one blood clot later, HRC is back at the helm ... with a football helmet to protect herself from future falls:

A crowd of about 75 State Department officials greeted Clinton with a standing ovation as she walked into her first senior staff meeting since early December.

Deputy Secretary of State Thomas Nides, noting that life in D.C. is often a "contact sport, sometimes even in your own home" then presented Clinton with a gift.

U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton recently fainted and suffered a concussion, which has critics of this fall's debacle in Benghazi, Libya, crying foul.

Some even suggested that Clinton faked it to avoid potentially embarrassing testimony, but this has been slammed by aides as “wild speculation.”

Hillary Clinton, Secretary of State

Former United Nations envoy John Bolton was ripped by the State Department today for speculation that Hillary Clinton may have pulled a fast one.

Bolton speculated on Fox News that Clinton’s claim of fainting and suffering a concussion amounts to what foreign service officers call a “diplomatic illness.”

Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton suffered a concussion after fainting this weekend, according to reports, but did not sustain serious injury.

Clinton, 65, was staying home due to a stomach virus. Her illness left her dehydrated, which led to a brief fainting spell. Clinton then hit her head.

Clinton continues to work from home while being monitored by doctors, but hopes to return to work "soon," explained a statement by aide Philippe Reines.

As a result, Clinton will no longer attend hearings Thursday about the September 11 attack in Benghazi, Libya, that resulted in the deaths of four Americans.

Instead, senior State Department officials William Burns and Thomas Nides will fill in for her.

There's jet lag, and there's jet lag after visiting more than 100 countries in four years, at which point no coffee, Red Bull or Five Hour Energy is gonna get it done.

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton looked like she hit a wall right in the middle of President Obama's speech in Myanmar on Monday, falling asleep briefly. Watch:

While Hillary, who sat next to Nobel Peace Prize winner Aung San Suu Kyi, likely wishes she hadn't nodded off, she shouldn't worry all that much considering:

  1. She helped broker an Israel-Hamas cease fire 48 hours later.
  2. Obama does kinda tend to drag these things out sometimes.
  3. Soon she can sleep for 2-3 years prior to the 2016 election.

It's never too early to start thinking about the 2016 election. Okay, maybe it is, but those who have like the prospects of Hillary Clinton and Jeb Bush.

Yes, a Clinton-Bush White House race. Can you imagine?

Hillary Clinton vs. Jeb Bush

By 2016, eight years after Barack Obama succeeded George W. Bush and outlasted Hillary Clinton in the Democratic primary, both political dynasties could rise again.

Hillary Clinton celebrates her 65th birthday today.

The wife of former President Bill Clinton and the candidate who barely lost out to Barack Obama for the Democratic nomination in 2008, Hillary has emerged as a wildly respected global ambassador.

This Secretary of State has earned praise from both sides of the aisle for her handling of complicated foreign matters and blatant examples of sexism. She's a staunch, respected advocate for women's rights around the world.

She can even recognize a solid set of hooters when she sees them.
