I agree. I used to watch this show for a mindless 30 minutes a week. I am in the mental health field and I really feel like Heidi needs some help, as does Spencer. I am wondering if their families understand the gravity of the symptoms that are appearing on this new season, that actually (appear, at least on tv) to be quite serious. If there is anything good that comes out of this, is that these two people get a real psychological evaluation and get the help they so desperately seem to need.

This is really sad. Every time I see Heidi on the cover of a magazine, and notice how completely different she looks than her true self, it's just really quite sad. I remember when I saw the episode of The Hills where Spencer went out partying with a bunch of blond bimbo playmates and I think that's when Heidi realized that she wasn't enough to keep Spencer tied down and I think instead of doing the healthy thing and walking away she wanted to be so much like those girls he was always paying more attention to. In my opinion she is an extremely poor role model for young women, and this is coming from a young woman. She ended up with the worst guy possible and let him change her in so many ways and let herself be treated horribly. It's just so sad.
