Heath Ledger was a handsome, talented star hailing from Australia. From The Patriot to The Joker in the forthcoming The Dark Knight, this was one versatile actor. He tragically died far too young at the age of 28, as he was discovered dead in his New York apartment in January 2008.
Heath Ledger will likely be best remembered from Brokeback Mountain, the film that earned him an Academy Award nomination for Best Actor. He met his now ex-fiancee, Michelle Williams, on the set of the 2005 movie. Heath is survived by their daughter, Matilda.
