Harrison Ford is so cool, he really needs no introduction.

One of the industry’s best-known and most-respected actors, he rose to fame in the mid-1970s as Hans Solo in the Star Wars trilogy, then as Indiana Jones

He's also starred in Blade Runner, Air Force One, Witness, Patriot Games, The Fugitive and more hit films than we can even list here. On July 25, he’ll star alongside Daniel Craig in his latest blockbuster, Cowboys & Aliens.

They've been together so long, it's easy to forget they weren't married, but after more than eight years, Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart have tied the knot.

Ford surprised Flockhart with a Valentine's Day proposal in 2009. They were married Tuesday in New Mexico, where the actor is filming Cowboys and Aliens.

The wedding, which was held at the Governor's Mansion in Santa Fe, was performed by the state's governor and former presidential candidate Bill Richardson.

Richardson officiated under the legal supervision of New Mexico's Chief Justice, Charles W. Daniels, who officially declared the celebrity couple legally wed.

Calista Flockhart and Harrison Ford finally got married.

Gov. Richardson and his wife, Barbara, friends of the couple, were witnesses. The couple's son Liam, 9, was also there, as was the governor's official counsel.

Ford, 67, and Flockhart, 45, began dating after meeting at the 2002 Golden Globes. They've both been raising Liam, whom Flockhart adopted solo in 2001.

This is the third marriage for Ford, who also has four grown children, and the first for Flockhart. Congrats to the legendary actor and Brothers & Sisters star!

Coolest man alive Harrison Ford and Brothers and Sisters star Calista Flockhart are engaged to be married, sources close to the couple have confirmed.

Ford reportedly surprised Flockhart with an engagement ring on Valentine's Day weekend while the two were away on a family vacation with son Liam.

Calista Flockhart adopted Liam as a single mother when he was a newborn in January 2001. Harrison Ford formally adopted the child later, as well.

This will be Calista's first marriage and the third for Harrison.

He has two sons, Benjamin and Willard, with Mary Marquardt, and two children, Malcolm and Georgia, with Melissa Mathison. Ford also has three grandchildren.

The couple has been together for seven and a half years, many of which have been spent denying wedding rumors. No wedding date has been set yet.

It's been a busy weekend for wedding / engagement news, with Nastaha Bedingfield and Bruce Willis both tying the knot yesterday. Not to each other, of course. They married Matt Robinson and Emma Hemming, respectively.

The Hills' resident villain, Spencer Pratt, casts an evil glare at Harrison Ford as both whipped up Thanksgiving dinner as part of The Los Angeles Mission.

Just kidding. Even our man Spencer was too focused on an important cause to be scheming... at least at this moment. The L.A. Mission a non-profit organization serving the homeless people of the City of Angels. It's nice to see stars donating time and money to make the lives of the less fortunate a little brighter.

Other good news to come out of this? Spencer Pratt can write on his website that he was mentioned in the same breath as Harrison Ford! Now that's a first.

The legendary actor, 65, is set to reprise his role as the title character in Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, which comes out in May 2008.

Harrison Ford apparently learned his lesson after a whopping $85 million divorce settlement from his ex-wife, Melissa Mathison.

Yes. That was just the money Harrison Ford lost in his divorce settlement. Which means he had (and has) a lot more than that. This guy's net worth is in the ballpark of Tom Cruise.

It's perhaps not too surprising, then, that reps for Ford and his girlfriend, Calista Flockhart, are denying a recent report by Grazia magazine that the actor popped the question on April Fool's Day.

"They are not engaged," Flockhart's rep says.

"It's not true. They are not engaged," Ford's rep concurs.

We're not clear what their position is based on these quotes. But according to Grazia (via The Daily Mail), Ford allegedly had Flockhart's six-year-old son, Liam, help with the proposal.

A friend says, "He coached Liam to run up to [Calista Flockhart] and deliver to her a message - 'Mr. Ford is going to be my daddy.' Calista laughed but it was no joke. Harrison then told her he wanted to marry her. She's thrilled about the proposal and so is Liam."

The friend added:

"Harrison knows after five years that Calista is the last love of his life. He's been telling everyone that it felt like the right time."

That's sweet. Too bad this story is apparently about as real as Anna Nicole Smith's boobs, so there's no point in even discussing it anymore, really.

Can we just go back to the $85 million thing? Imagine if this is what you'd pay just to settle a divorce and move on. Even Kevin Federline only got $1 million (supposedly) in his recent settlement with Britney Spears.

Guess those Star Wars royalties have been awfully good to Ford.
