Chaz Bono believes his controversial stint on Dancing with the Stars will be good for America due of its "positive impact on kids with gender dysphoria."

He said, "When I was growing up, if I would have seen someone like me on a show like this, it would have made all the difference in the world."

Bono told Good Morning America that it's "crazy" people are boycotting the show and that despite all he's gone through, he's just "a regular guy."

Chaz Waves

Meanwhile, attorney Gloria Allred and lesbian rights activists will hold (what else) a news conference today to protest Dr. Keith Ablow and others decrying Bono.

There will be dance and viewing parties across the U.S. for DWTS' September 19 season premiere, and Gloria encouraged everyone to openly support Chaz.

Allred says she'll be personally doing her part in that mission, offering to "dance with every transgender person" who shows up at the L.A. party.

Who could pass up that offer?

Women's Super Welterweight Boxing Champ Christy Martin, is putting her dukes up outside the ring - against the California State Athletic Commission.

Claiming the organization is sexist and she lost what would have been her 50th win lifetime as a result, Christy and Gloria Allred are taking swift action.

Christy fought Dakota Stone last June at the Staples Center in L.A., and was ahead in points with 51 seconds left when the referee stopped the fight.

Stone was awarded the win, as the ref felt Christy couldn't continue because her hand was injured. Christy and Gloria certainly don't see it that way.

Gloria claims all Christy did was "momentarily wince," and she wanted to continue, and halting the bout was "an unfair and sexist double standard."

In other words, Allred is saying that the referee would never have stopped a similar fight under the same circumstances if the boxers were male.

She may not have a terrible point there.

Last fall, Christy's then-husband allegedly tried to stab, shoot her and pistol-whip her to death. Now a minor hand injury - in boxing - ends a fight?

Rachel Uchitel has repaid much of the money Tiger Woods paid her to keep quiet in the aftermath of their affair, and may sue Gloria Allred as a result.

Huh? Relax. It's even more confusing than you think.

Derek Lowe Mug Shot

In early 2010, Allred negotiated a $10 million settlement for Rachel, who had planned to hold a news conference and detail her relationship with Tiger.

The mammoth payoff included a confidentiality agreement, which prohibited Rachel Uchitel from talking about Tiger. Ever. Here's where it gets dicey:

The confidentiality clause works the way you think it does. If Rachel spoke about Tiger, she'd have to pay back the money, as well as potential damages.

Several months ago, Tiger's lawyer, Jay Lavely, contacted Gloria regarding Rachel's appearance on Celebrity Rehab, saying they planned to sue over it.

While she never talked specifically about Tiger on the VH1 show, Uchitel's reality show treatment "addiction to love" royally pissed off Woods' camp.

Rachel felt strongly she had not violated the agreement, but Gloria convinced her she would lose if Tiger's attorney pursued the case against her.

The saga of Anthony Weiner and his stable of online friends continues to grow more ridiculous by the moment.

Here's the latest: Ginger Lee, a porn star who says the Congressman coached her through the scandal as it broke, has hired attention-loving attorney Gloria Allred to represent her against a series of mysterious threats.

Anthony Weiner in Congress

Protecting her client from whatever may be released in the future, Allred told TMZ this morning:

"Ms. Lee has asked me to issue this statement, because an individual has threatened her with a release of another statement which purports to be from her, but which she has not authorized.

"Ginger would like it to be known that she has not authorized any person, except me, her attorney, to issue statements on her behalf. Any unauthorized statement may contain inaccuracies and should be viewed with suspicion and not published."

In other words: some dude is about to reveal explosive information about Lee and she's trying to stay ahead of it. More news on this odd story as it breaks.

Move over, Mildred Patricia Beana. Former child star Gigi Goyette has come forward as The Sperminator's mistress as well, via her attorney Gloria Allred.

"I represent Gigi Goyette, who had an intimate relationship with Arnold," Allred said.

Derek Lowe Mug Shot

The attorney declined to comment on why Goyette is coming forward now or her intentions for going public, but we have pulled together some details.

Gigi Goyette, 52, had success as a kid on Little House on Prairie. She reportedly met and slept with Schwarzenegger back in his 1975 Pumping Iron days.

She was 16 then. He was 28. But that's beside the point.

After a long layoff, the two reportedly picked things up again and had an affair in 1989, three years after the action star married Maria Shriver.

Goyette, who also goes by Gigi Jeffers, was one of the many women linked to Schwarzenegger as he made his bid for governor of California.

It's a rare day when THG sides with Gloria Allred.

But it's also a rare day when a celebrity compares being screened at the airport with being raped.

That's exactly what Khloe Kardashian did on Lopez Tonight, however, prompting the following response from the attention-loving lawyer:

Looking Miserable

“Rape is a crime of violence. I believe that the word should not be used loosely to describe security measures at airports or at any other place.

"I think that many victims of sexual assault who have been the true victims of men who committed that violent crime against them and who have been forced to suffer the physical and emotional harm that results from that crime would be insulted that the term would be used in the way that Ms. Kardashian used it."

Do you agree with Allred's take? Did Khloe go too far in her comparison?

When it comes to Oksana Grigorieva's shady dealings, TMZ is all over her like Brett Favre wishes he were all over Jenn Sterger. Or something like that.

Seriously, Oksana's clandestine recordings of an irate Mel Gibson and what she tried to do with them are being explored from every conceivable angle.

The latest revelation? That Grigorieva made a beeline for attorney Gloria Allred right after secretly recording the Mel Gibson tapes. Looking to cash in?

Awful Oksana

The Oksana Grigorieva-Mel Gibson case gets even more twisted.

Days after the rants of February 18, Oksana met with Gloria and attorney Eric George separately, several times. Ultimately, she opted to hire George.

Sources say Gloria Allred advised her to go to the police immediately and file a domestic violence complaint, then hold a conference to play the tapes.

Just two months before, Gloria scored a $10 million settlement for Rachel Uchitel, then canceled their news conference hours before it was scheduled.

British actress Charlotte Lewis has come forward to say legendary filmmaker Roman Polanski, 76, sexually abused her over 25 years ago, when she was only 16.

This was four years after he fled the U.S. to avoid sentencing on charges that he unlawfully had sex with a minor (statutory rape), a legal fight he is still waging.

Lewis, who co-starred with Eddie Murphy in The Golden Child, was front and center at (of course) a Gloria Allred news conference yesterday to tell her story.

Lewis and Allred met with L.A. County Deputy D.A. David Walgren this week to make the allegations, which coincide with decades-old efforts to sentence Polanski.

It is unclear if Lewis' claims will be used for the extradition or sentencing case involving Roman Polanski, who fled the U.S. in 1977 after bedding a 13-year-old.

This is the Charlotte Lewis accusing Roman Polanski of sexual abuse, on a 1993 cover of Playboy. Other pictures of a redhead are a Lost character by the same name.

As a French citizen, Polanski has avoided being extradited to the U.S. for decades. He is under house arrest in Switzerland after finally being taken into custody last year.

The law of consent in France is 15, but Allred says that's irrelevant to the allegations made by Charlotte Lewis. So will Polanski ever face the music for either incident?

Polanski's legal team said in a statement:

"We don't have any information about statements at a Gloria Allred press conference today, but we do know the D.A. continues to refuse to provide the Swiss government accurate and complete information relevant to the extradition issue."

Polanski earned Oscar nominations for Best Director for Rosemary's Baby, Tess and The Pianist, winning for the latter. His most recent film is this year's The Ghost Writer.

Earlier today, married Bones star David Boreanaz admitted having an affair with an unnamed woman who he claims was trying to extort him for money.

Now, his wife Jamie Bergman may sue the woman he had affair with. As a Utah resident, she has grounds to file a lawsuit for "alienation of affection."

David Boreanaz, Jaime Bergman

Really. Jamie believes the chick - who TMZ reports is NOT Rachel Uchitel, who Boreanaz also slept with - intended to breakup her marriage, it's so on.

The David Boreanaz affair came to light after his former mistress contacted an attorney and threatened to go to various media outlets with her story.

Naturally, that attorney was Gloria Allred.

Boreanaz says he refused to cough up the money she wanted so he, took the David Letterman route, outed himself and now accuses Allred of extortion.

Does Jaime Bergman have a case against David Boreanaz's mistress?

Allred who also reps Uchitel and helped the most notorious of the many Tiger Woods mistresses negotiate a mammoth settlement, denies any wrongdoing on her part and puts the blame for his actions squarely on Boreanaz.

Gloria claims David's lawyer, Marty Singer, tried contacting the mistress and only then did she get involved - and says she may have other "legal claims."

Singer responded that Allred's claim is only that Boreanaz had promised the mistress that she was "exclusive" ... even though she knew he was married.

The woman had a very short-term liaison with Boreanaz - 2-3 times - after which he paid her money but she allegedly kept demanding more and more.

Singer says on April 23, the woman left a threatening message that she had not gotten enough coin and was going public. On Monday, he says he got a call from Allred, who said woman was looking to get paid at least six figures.

She then threatened to go public unless David upped the ante, Singer says, so Boreanaz told the story publicly Monday. But Allred is ready to fight back:

"My client has not told her story, but now that Mr. Boreanaz is attacking her she has decided to tell the story of the relationship. The truth will come out."

The plot thickens! Stay tuned ...

Robert Halderman, the alleged "mastermind" of a $2 million extortion plot against David Letterman, is just throwing everything at the legal wall at this point.

The CBS News producer is using the Tiger Woods scandal as a precedent to fight the charges against him, which could land him in jail for years if convicted.

Halderman's lawyer, Gerald Shargel, notes in legal papers that when news of Tiger's infidelity surfaced, mistress Rachel Uchitel reportedly signed a multi-million dollar settlement in return for her silence, with the help of Gloria Allred.

Shargel notes, admiringly, "Their behavior was capitalist, not criminal."

The lawyer says Robert Halderman, who is reportedly seeking a plea deal in the case, merely "offered to sell a very marketable story" of Letterman sleeping with Stephanie Birkitt, and that it was a simple business transaction.

Except for the part where he deliberately tried to shake Letterman down.

Rache Pic

It was only a matter of time until these cheating scandals collided.

Shargel says that celebrity misdeeds have "significant fair market value" and they are "routinely suppressed through private business arrangements."

His argument, however thin and stretched, is that Rachel wasn't prosecuted for taking Tiger's money, so why would Halderman for wanting Dave's?

Gloria Allred, for her part, is far from pleased that Halderman's lawyer compared himself to Rachel Uchitel, saying he has no basis to make such claims:

"I have no personal knowledge of his case. He has no personal knowledge and therefore, no basis for remarks about my representation of Ms. Uchitel."

"Mr. Shargel should spend his time representing his client based on facts, rather than comparing it to matters of which he has no personal knowledge."

In other words, Rachel's settlement was confidential. If there even was a settlement, which is widely believed to be true, but it is, by definition, secret.
