John Travolta Accuser Hires Gloria Allred
John Doe Number One, whose accusations of sexual assault against John Travolta made major headlines before his case fell apart and he dropped the lawsuit, apparently isn't throwing in the legal towel just yet. He's hired Gloria Allred, according to reports.
"I represent John Doe Number One," Allred confirmed to People.
"Mr. Doe's lawsuit was dismissed without prejudice which means that he is still legally entitled to file another lawsuit against John Travolta if he chooses."
"We are in the process of conferring with him regarding the next steps, which he may wish to take. Our client and our firm has no further comment."
Allred has a long history of taking on sexual misconduct cases against A-list celebs, including those against Tiger Woods and Arnold Schwarzenegger.
The John Travolta accuser alleged in a $2 million lawsuit filed May 4 that the actor exposed himself and acted inappropriately while receiving a massage.
His lawyer, Okorie Okorocha, dropped him after Travolta's lawyer, Marty Singer, offered evidence that suggested Travolta was in New York at the time.
A lawsuit filed by Okorocha on behalf of a second masseur, based in Atlanta an alleging similar (if not more graphic) behavior, remains active.
Singer has vehemently denied the allegations as "false" and "absurd," adding, "People are going to come forward to get their 15 minutes of fame."
Sarah Tressler, Houston Chronicle Reporter, Fired For Moonlighting as Stripper
Sarah Tressler, a 30-year-old reporter who was fired by the Houston Chronicle because of her second job as a stripper, has filed a formal complaint against her former newspaper employer, alleging sex discrimination.
Tressler was working as a society and general assignment reporter for the Chronicle and writing an anonymous blog entitled "Diary of an Angry Stripper" when another paper, the Houston Press, revealed her part-time profession.
She said the major newspaper fired her "because of a claim that I did not disclose on my employment application that I worked as an exotic dancer."
"I feel that women should not be denied other employment because they have worked as an exotic dancer," said Tressler, in response to her dismissal.
Tressler has hired high-profile attorney Gloria Allred and filed a charge of gender discrimination with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
Allred said Tressler was stripping as an independent contractor, not an employee, so she had no reason to list exotic dancing on her job application.
"Most exotic dancers are female, and therefore terminating an employee because they had previously been an exotic dancer would have an adverse impact on women, since it is a female dominated occupation," Allred said.

Lawrence Taylor Hit With Sex Trafficking Lawsuit Courtesy of Gloria Allred
Never one to let celebrity scandals pass without getting involved personally, attorney Gloria Allred is representing a woman that will be filing a sex trafficking lawsuit against former football star Lawrence Taylor, according to reports.
Allred and the alleged sexual trafficking victim, now 18, will formally announce the lawsuit at - what else - a news conference in New York City on Monday.
Lawrence Taylor's accuser said he paid $300 to have sex with her in 2010.
Lawrence Taylor was indicted on charges of rape, a criminal sexual act, and sexual abuse and endangering the welfare of a child (she was 16 at the time); he eventually pleaded guilty to patronizing a prostitute and one count of sexual misconduct.
He was given probation and registered as a sex offender.
The lawsuit, according to sources, could be the first of its kind filed by an underage sex trafficking victim under the Trafficking Victims Protection Act against a man.

New Herman Cain Accuser to Go Public Today
A new woman alleging sexual harassment by Herman Cain will break her silence at a news conference ... with powerhouse attorney Gloria Allred in tow, obviously.
The embattled Republican presidential candidate has been accused of harassment by two women who worked at the National Restaurant Association in the 1990s.
Herman Cain was president of the trade group at the time. The women both received settlements, which they can't talk about as per the terms of the settlements.
Politico has alleged that Cain sexually harassed the women.
Now, a third woman, who will be the first to go public on Monday, will say she sought Cain's help with an employment issue and was allegedly sexually harassed.
Allred and her client will discuss, in detail, what she alleges occurred with Cain, the Tea Party darling who tried, and failed, to tamp down the scandal last week.
Saturday night after a debate with Newt Gingrich, Cain refused to answer questions about the allegations, saying "We are getting back on message, end of story."
"Read all of the other accounts. Read all of the other accounts where everything has been answered in the story. We're getting back on message, okay?"
Okay. But he may not be able to determine that after today.
Chaz Bono: "Regular Guy" Making "Positive Impact"
Chaz Bono believes his controversial stint on Dancing with the Stars will be good for America due of its "positive impact on kids with gender dysphoria."
He said, "When I was growing up, if I would have seen someone like me on a show like this, it would have made all the difference in the world."
Bono told Good Morning America that it's "crazy" people are boycotting the show and that despite all he's gone through, he's just "a regular guy."
Meanwhile, attorney Gloria Allred and lesbian rights activists will hold (what else) a news conference today to protest Dr. Keith Ablow and others decrying Bono.
There will be dance and viewing parties across the U.S. for DWTS' September 19 season premiere, and Gloria encouraged everyone to openly support Chaz.
Allred says she'll be personally doing her part in that mission, offering to "dance with every transgender person" who shows up at the L.A. party.
Who could pass up that offer?

Christy Martin Alleges Sexism Against Referee, California Athletic Commission
Women's Super Welterweight Boxing Champ Christy Martin, is putting her dukes up outside the ring - against the California State Athletic Commission.
Claiming the organization is sexist and she lost what would have been her 50th win lifetime as a result, Christy and Gloria Allred are taking swift action.
Christy fought Dakota Stone last June at the Staples Center in L.A., and was ahead in points with 51 seconds left when the referee stopped the fight.
Stone was awarded the win, as the ref felt Christy couldn't continue because her hand was injured. Christy and Gloria certainly don't see it that way.
Gloria claims all Christy did was "momentarily wince," and she wanted to continue, and halting the bout was "an unfair and sexist double standard."
In other words, Allred is saying that the referee would never have stopped a similar fight under the same circumstances if the boxers were male.
She may not have a terrible point there.
Last fall, Christy's then-husband allegedly tried to stab, shoot her and pistol-whip her to death. Now a minor hand injury - in boxing - ends a fight?

Rachel Uchitel Pays Back Tiger Woods Hush Money, May Sue Gloria Allred
Rachel Uchitel has repaid much of the money Tiger Woods paid her to keep quiet in the aftermath of their affair, and may sue Gloria Allred as a result.
Huh? Relax. It's even more confusing than you think.
In early 2010, Allred negotiated a $10 million settlement for Rachel, who had planned to hold a news conference and detail her relationship with Tiger.
The mammoth payoff included a confidentiality agreement, which prohibited Rachel Uchitel from talking about Tiger. Ever. Here's where it gets dicey:
The confidentiality clause works the way you think it does. If Rachel spoke about Tiger, she'd have to pay back the money, as well as potential damages.
Several months ago, Tiger's lawyer, Jay Lavely, contacted Gloria regarding Rachel's appearance on Celebrity Rehab, saying they planned to sue over it.
While she never talked specifically about Tiger on the VH1 show, Uchitel's reality show treatment "addiction to love" royally pissed off Woods' camp.
Rachel felt strongly she had not violated the agreement, but Gloria convinced her she would lose if Tiger's attorney pursued the case against her.
Ginger Lee, Anthony Weiner Gal Pal, Hires Gloria Allred to Combat Threats
The saga of Anthony Weiner and his stable of online friends continues to grow more ridiculous by the moment.
Here's the latest: Ginger Lee, a porn star who says the Congressman coached her through the scandal as it broke, has hired attention-loving attorney Gloria Allred to represent her against a series of mysterious threats.
Protecting her client from whatever may be released in the future, Allred told TMZ this morning:
"Ms. Lee has asked me to issue this statement, because an individual has threatened her with a release of another statement which purports to be from her, but which she has not authorized.
"Ginger would like it to be known that she has not authorized any person, except me, her attorney, to issue statements on her behalf. Any unauthorized statement may contain inaccuracies and should be viewed with suspicion and not published."
In other words: some dude is about to reveal explosive information about Lee and she's trying to stay ahead of it. More news on this odd story as it breaks.

Gigi Goyette: Arnold Schwarzenegger Mistress #2!
Move over, Mildred Patricia Beana. Former child star Gigi Goyette has come forward as The Sperminator's mistress as well, via her attorney Gloria Allred.
"I represent Gigi Goyette, who had an intimate relationship with Arnold," Allred said.
The attorney declined to comment on why Goyette is coming forward now or her intentions for going public, but we have pulled together some details.
Gigi Goyette, 52, had success as a kid on Little House on Prairie. She reportedly met and slept with Schwarzenegger back in his 1975 Pumping Iron days.
She was 16 then. He was 28. But that's beside the point.
After a long layoff, the two reportedly picked things up again and had an affair in 1989, three years after the action star married Maria Shriver.
Goyette, who also goes by Gigi Jeffers, was one of the many women linked to Schwarzenegger as he made his bid for governor of California.
