Presenting: The Sexiest Men Alive in 2009
One of the leading celebrity news magazines, People, released its annual Sexiest Man Alive issue earlier this week. Johnny Depp, not Robert Pattinson, took top honors.
Check out People's full gallery and pick up its popular issue for the full roster of hunks and why they made the list. But below is a little tribute to their top 15 guys ...
No surprises here with movie stars Depp, Ryan Reynolds, Jake Gyllenhaal, Bradley Cooper and Robert Downey, Jr., leading the way. Not a bad top five, right?
Next up: Soccer icon David Beckham, actor Gilles Marini, the male Glee cast members (Mark Salling represents them here), Nick Cannon and Adam Lambert.
Finally, FlashForward star John Cho, American Idol alum Chris Daughtry, crooner John Legend, actor Jerry O'Connell and of course, the great Robert Pattinson.

Gilles Marini in Playboy: Clothed, but Hot!
Life isn't fair, ladies, we know.
Marge Simpson is featured in this month's Playboy - and she's naked.
Alina Puscau is also photographed for the issue - without any clothing on.
Meanwhile, French actor Gilles Marini poses for the same magazine, yet is covered in layers of clothing. We do have good news surrounding this stud, however:
He still looks good in the pictorial; and he's often shirtless during his current, extended run on ABC's Brothers & Sisters. Both those facts will have to suffice for now.
Ogle away at Marini below, female readers. Take as long as you like...
Gilles Marini: Naked for 2010 Calendar
Is it 2010 yet?!?
While many of our male readers are off ogling Megan Fox nude pics, the women can finally strike back.
French actor Gilles Marini bares almost all in a new calendar shoot with Fred Goudon, the photographer that helped launch his modeling career.
Marini has starred in Sex and the City: The Movie, made it to the finals of Dancing with the Stars and will appear next season on Brothers & Sisters.
Still, he's a hunk at heart. These pictures prove it...
Gilles Marini Feels Like a Bad Father
Gilles Marini may be a great looking individual.
But he thinks of himself as a terrible father.
Soon after the French actor lost out to Shawn Johnson on last week's Dancing with the Stars finale, he told reporters about the reaction he received at home.
"My son looked at me and started crying because he wanted me to get that trophy," Marini said. "He was just crying and crying and crying... I feel like a bad daddy."
If it makes you feel better, Gilles, there are a number of women around the country that would love to call you "daddy. Just sayin.
As for Johnson, Marini is thrilled for the Olympian.
"It's great for her to have it," he said. "Come on, she's only 17 years old. I don't want to be the one crushing her dream."
At least fans can relive Marini's Dancing with the Stars experience below. Click on the following photos for larger versions...
Backstage at DWTS with Melissa, Tony, Gilles and Cheryl
The on-screen chemistry between this season's top couples on Dancing with the Stars is evident.
But what about when the (moving) camera stops?
In this week's TV Guide Magazine, the publication takes fans behind the scenes with four of the show's most popular season eight stars: Cheryl Burke, Gilles Marini, Tony Dovolani and Melissa Rycroft.
Regarding her partner's energy, Burke said:
“When the music comes on in rehearsal, he brings it up 50 percent. But then in the live show, the audience feeds him even more energy and I change the way I dance. His adrenaline is off the charts.”
Meanwhile, Tony and Melissa had a trust issue to settle, following Rycroft's public heartbreak at the hands of Jason Mesnick.
“We didn’t talk about The Bachelor until after that first rehearsal,” Rycroft said. “But the trust was established very early on - and with dances like the Lindy Hop. Do you know how many times I fell, and he would have me by a pinky toe? I was nowhere near touching the ground.”
Who do you think will be crowned Dancing with the Stars champion next week?

Gilles Marini Cast on Brothers & Sisters
Next week, fans may see Gilles Marini in the winner's circle of Dancing with the Stars.
Next season, meanwhile, they will definitely see him on another ABC series.
The French actor says he's agreed to a role on the popular drama Brothers & Sisters, though he won't reveal many details about it, simply saying:
"It’s going to be very interesting. It’s going to be a like, ‘Oh, my God.’ It’s going to be great."
Cheryl Burke and Gilles Marini have shone brightly this season on Dancing with the Stars. This isn't the last you'll see of the French stud on ABC television.
