Bio
Farrah Fawcett was a noted actress and pop culture figure whose hairstyle was emulated by millions of young women, and a sex symbol for millions of young men in the 1970s and 1980s.
She went on to become a critically accepted actress, appearing off-Broadway and in acclaimed television movies in challenging (The Burning Bed, Nazi Hunter: The Beate Klarsfeld Story, Poor Little Rich Girl: The Barbara Hutton Story, Margaret Bourke-White), and sometimes unsympathetic (Small Sacrifices) roles.
She has one child, Redmond O'Neal, with partner Ryan O'Neal, who she has been involved with since about 1982, though she has never married.
Farrah Fawcett passed away in June 2009 after battling serious health problems for years. We wish her family the best in this tragic time.
