Faith Hill Performs "Come Home" at People's Choice Awards [Video]
For country music fans, Faith Hill‘s performance of her new song "Come Home" was the highlight of the 2012 People’s Choice Awards Wednesday night on CBS.
Granted, Taylor Swift won Favorite Country Artist, and deservedly so, but there's no doubt Faith helped pave the way for such crossover stars like T-Swift.
Last night, Hill returned to the national spotlight for just the third time in recent years, singing the song that she debuted at the CMA Awards in November.
With the emotions of the song heavy on her face, Hill immersed herself in the ballad. "Come Home" is the lead single from her upcoming, untitled new album:
Faith Hill Super Bowl Commercial: Funny or Tasteless?
Overtly sexual ads shoved down our throats is not exactly rare (see last night's Kim Kardashian Super Bowl commercial), but Faith Hill threw us for a bit of a loop.
With Valentine's Day fast approaching, the country singer's spot for Teleflora played out very sweetly ... before throwing a crude one-liner in America's lap.
The upside? Because it's Faith Hill, the punchline was unexpected and well executed. The downside? It's Faith Hill. The straight-laced star's fans may disapprove.
What do you think? Funny and harmless, or too far? Check it out ...
Faith Hill and Tim McGraw to Host Nashville Benefit Concert
When it comes to their devastated hometown, Faith Hill and Tim McGraw are taking action.
The country music standouts have organized "Nashville Rising: A Benefit Concert For Flood Recovery," which aims to help those affected by last month's record-breaking storms. It will take place on June 22, six days after Ke$ha's charity event.
"The damage that we've seen to people's homes and the effect that the flooding has had on their lives is unimaginable. But we've seen the spirit of our community firsthand, as volunteers, church groups and our local business leaders rally to help," McGraw and Hill said in a statement.
"We all need to continue to support those in need in any way that we can, and for that reason we could not be more appreciative to all of the artists, the companies and the people behind the scenes who collectively will make June 22 a truly special night."
For more information on the concert, which will be held at Bridgestone Arena, visit NashvilleRising.org.
The lineup so far includes the hosts, along with Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift (who has personally donated $500,000 to the cause), Miley Cyrus, Brooks & Dunn, Miranda Lambert, Martina McBride and LeAnn Rimes.
Severe storms and extensive flooding from two weeks ago have left almost two dozen people dead in Tennessee, while numerous Nashville homes and landmarks have been destroyed.
All these artists, and more, will help raise money for the Nashville Community Foundation on June 22.
ACM Awards Fashion Face-Off: Camila Alves vs. Faith Hill
At last night's Academy of Country Music Awards, Matthew McConaughey presented Best Male Vocalist.
Before he handed out the hardware, however, the actor opened up to the crowd about his sex life.
"After the show last year my lady and I - Camila - went back to the hotel and conceived the little lady who is now our daughter, " he said. "I promise you me and Camila are going to try not to get so lucky this year. Two is enough. We're flush for awhile."
TMI? Perhaps. But if we got to see Camila Alves nude, we'd likely brag about it, too.
Just check out how attractive the model is while clothed, below. We've compared her with singer Faith Hill, both of whom walked the red carpet at the event:

Faith Hill Channels Iconic Blondes of the Past
It's not exactly Lindsay Lohan nude as Marilyn Monroe, but this photo shoot does conjure up images of some of the beautiful celebrities of yesteryear.
In the new issue of Redbook, Faith Hill was transformed into some of that magazine's past, iconic blonde cover girls in a serious of beautiful photos.
Here's how she felt about portraying Twiggy: "She had such an innocence ... Her version was beautiful and flawless, but for me, as a woman who's come into her own a little more comfortably, it's just a different kind of beauty."
On portraying Brigitte Bardot: "I felt least like Brigitte of all three women we did. Brigitte possesses this sensual essence that is so powerful ... if I could possess that sensuality, I would want to possess it like she does."
On portraying Grace Kelly: "My mother-in-law has always told me I remind her of Grace Kelly. I think it's probably that I have this seemingly high-profile life, like Grace did, and that we were both the mother of three children."

Faith Hill to Carrie Underwood: I'm Happy for You. Really.
Faith Hill has a simple message for fans around the world:
I'm no Kanye West.
The rapper has earned a reputation for reacting bitterly when he doesn't win an award - and now the country music star is in similar danger.
Of course, Faith says she was just joking when cameras showed her screaming âWHAT?' in apparent anger when she lost the female vocalist of the year award to Carrie Underwood at the Country Music Association Awards on Monday night in Nashville.
"The idea that I would act disrespectful towards a fellow musician is unimaginable to me," Hill said in a statement. "For this to become a focus of attention given the talent gathered is utterly ridiculous. Carrie is a talented and deserving Female Vocalist of The Year.'
Media outlets and blogs zeroed in on Hill's reaction after Underwood's name was announced at the ceremony. While other nominees - Sara Evans, Gretchen Wilson, Martina McBride - gave the typical gracious loser smile, Hill, who was standing backstage, turned to the camera and shouted âWHAT?'
Although her voice could not be heard, it was clear from her lips what she said. And it sounds like the biggest vernacular faux pas since Britney Spears said "I do" to Kevin Federline.
Faith Hill Still Hottest Country Singer
She may be off the market, but Faith Hill is still the hottest female country singer, according to a reader poll in Country Weekly magazine.
The 38-year old, whose marriage to fellow country star Tim McGraw has gotten her almost as much publicity as eight #1 hits, easily won the poll over a number of talented younger competitors.
"Faith has classic beauty, a superstar career, a great marriage to Tim and three lovely daughters. No other country star projects a sexier image," the article states.
Rounding out the top five most beautiful women in order were Sara Evans, American Idol winner Carrie Underwood, Martina McBride and Shania Twain.
Surprisingly, Natalie Maines and the other two Dixie Chicks did not make the list. A pair of newcomers, Jennifer Nettles (#6) and Miranda Lambert (#8) made the list along with country mainstays Terri Clark, Trisha Yearwood, Reba McEntire and Gretchen Wilson.
For those of you keeping score, yes, we realize that's 11 names. Give the magazine a break -- these are country music fans we're talking about. Just kidding. McEntire and Wilson actually tied for 10th.
