Evelyn Lozada and Carl Crawford are parents for the first time together. The Basketball Wives star and the L.A. Dodgers outfielder welcomed a son on Saturday!

Born at 3:55 a.m., the new addition weighed in at 8 lbs. and measured 21 inches long. Crawford by her side, Lozada delivered naturally in just four pushes.

“It was very quick and she is happy because she was super nervous,” Lozada's rep said. “Baby boy is so handsome and she can’t wait to reveal him to the world.”

In a Tweet posted Saturday afternoon, Evelyn Lozada wrote:

“I have EXCITING NEWS! Thank you God for my blessing!”

It's the first child for Crawford and Lozada, but her second overall, joining big sister Shaniece, 20, her daughter from a previous relationship.

He's known for stealing bases, but Los Angeles Dodgers leftfielder Carl Crawford has officially stolen Evelyn Lozada's heart.

The couple is engaged!

Lozada, best known for starring on Basketball Wives and for her roller coaster relationship with former NFL star Chad Johnson, made the announcement on Instagram today, posting a photo of her engagement ring along with one simple word:

YES!

We reported last week that someone not named Chad Johnson got Evelyn Lozada pregnant. Now the reality star has at last revealed the baby's father.

It's Carl Crawford!

The Basketball Wives star, 37, who confirmed her second pregnancy via Twitter in late November, had kept the identity of the baby's father under wraps.

Now she has confirmed to OMG! Insider's Nina Parker in an interview airing Monday that the rumors circulating about Crawford are indeed true.

The L.A. Dodgers outfielder, 32, nicknamed "The Perfect Storm" by fans and one of the most overpaid men in sports, is certainly a great catch!

Or was. It's not clear if they're still together. But if you're going for a sports baby daddy to take care of you for 18 years, Evelyn Lozada hit the jackpot.

Evelyn Lozada’s split from Chad Johnson was the focal point of the Basketball Wives Season 5 premiere, rehashing the developments of last year.

Ones that are clearly still raw, despite time partially healing the wounds.

Evelyn Lozada wed the NFL star in mid-2012, but they split just six weeks later after a fight that ended with him arrested for domestic violence.

Accused of infidelity after she allegedly found a condom receipt in the car, Chad Johnson head-butted her during the ensuing, heated argument.

Monday's Basketball Wives premiere showed Lozada deciding to go public with her story and meeting with her publicist to schedule a series of interviews.

There was a dramatic dinner with her castmates to discuss her relationship and a heart-to-heart between Lozada and her daughter Shaniece.

It was Shaniece who advised her mom not to reconcile with Johnson.

Evelyn Lozada has filed to divorce Chad Johnson, not even six weeks after they got married. She filed legal documents just moments ago in Florida.

Caiming her marriage is "irretrievably broken," Evelyn was clearly motivated by the fight this weekend that led to her man's domestic violence arrest.

Even before the fight went nuclear - he's accused of head-butting her (listen to the Chad Johnson 911 call here) - the union was on shaky ground.

Lozada allegedly found a receipt for condoms in the duo's car and flew off the handle, resulting in an altercation that landed the football player behind bars.

There was no coming to his defense afterward, either. Instead, Evelyn Lozada ripped him in the media for not taking responsibility for his actions.

According to the divorce documents, the couple had a prenuptial agreement in place. Good thing for Johnson, as he's also out of an NFL job now.

Evelyn and Chad got married in St. Maarten in July 4, with the wedding filmed for their VH1 reality show ... which was canceled before it even aired.

The only person with reason to smile now? Kim Kardashian. Compared to Ev & Ocho, her marriage looks like a long-lasting, non-violent success.

Chad Johnson (formerly Chad Ochocinco) was arrested last night for domestic violence. The alleged victim was his wife, Basketball Wives' Evelyn Lozada.

The NFL star is accused of head-butting Lozada during an argument.

Police arrived at the scene to find her with lacerations on her forehead; Lozada went to the hospital for treatment. Crazy. So what started the incident?

According to TMZ, the fight started over condoms in Chad's car. Seriously.

Evelyn Lozada apparently found a receipt for them (not sure which brand or what size) in the couple's Maserati and confronted him about it.

An argument broke out and Chad head-butted Evelyn. The football star reportedly told the cops he butted heads with his wife by accident.

Johnson was in custody in Davie, Fla., as of 8:45 p.m. last night and will have to go before a judge before he can be released on bond.

It's possible he could be there until tomorrow morning. Stay tuned.

Lozada married Chad Ochocinco - who changed his named back to Johnson so his wife wouldn't have to take the name Ochocinco - on July 4.

For what it's worth, the couple briefly called off their wedding earlier this year, allegedly amid rumors of his cheating, before reconciling.

UPDATE: Johnson has been released from jail - and released by the Miami Dolphins, who cut the star 24 hours after this story broke.

Evelyn Lozada and Chad Ochocinco tied the knot in Miami, Fla., on the Fourth of July as friends, family and of course VH1's cameras looked on.

The reality star, 36, and the NFL player, 34, said their vows for their VH1 show, Eve and Ocho, debuting in September. Yes, that's a real show.

The football star also live tweeted portions of his big day, allowing his 3.5 million Twitter followers to gain access to his pre-ceremony planning.

Once the ceremony wrapped, Ochocinco updated his profile pic to show off an image of his and Evelyn Lozada's wedding rings. Ah, 21st Century romance.

"How many times is Eve gonna change outfits... Is this normal to have more than 1 outfit besides the wedding gown?" Ochocinco jokingly tweeted.

Getting married to the Basketball Wives star on July 4 was in part a calculated move, Chad admits, "so I'd never forget our damn anniversary."

After (mostly) enjoying a two-year engagement and weathering some ups and downs - such as briefly calling off the wedding - the couple is on cloud nine.

Says Evelyn of her new husband:

"We have a true friendship. And he can keep up with my mouth! I'm very verbal, and say what I think and feel. He's the same way. He makes me laugh."

Apparently people watch Basketball Wives.

VH1's erroneously named franchise keeps coming back, with a fourth (!) season getting the green light and already underway for an hour every Monday night.

Who's starring this year? These nut jobs:

Basketball Wives Season 4 Cast

Here's a brief rundown of the "roster" and what we can expect in a season that promises to up the drama like never before ... eat your hearts out, Real Housewives.

1. Shaunie O'Neal, ex-wife of future Hall of Famer Shaquille O'Neal.

VH1's bio: "Shaunie's goal with her series was to shed light on the complex lives of the women who stand beside these larger-than-life professional athletes."

"She's here to show that it's not all glitz and glamour ... [She] is Queen Bee to the rest of the Basketball Wives, who swarm to her for advice and guidance."

That is beyond sad. This is her fourth season on the program.

2. Evelyn Lozada, ex-fiancee of Antione Walker, current fiancee of Chad Ochocinco (an NFL player, not a basketball star, and soon to be Chad Johnson again).

VH1: "She is highly regarded as a fashionista ... Evelyn is photographed not just because of ex-fiance's game, but because of her own impressive 'shoe game.'"

Whatever. Like Shaunie, she is an original cast member.
