Basketball Wives star and Chad Ochocinco fiance Evelyn Lozada may soon follow in his foxtrot footsteps. She's in talks to join Dancing With the Stars!

Producers reportedly the idea of having the reality star on the show, especially since she's engaged to Chad, an NFL star who was a past contestant.

The show is even hoping to involve Ochocinco in some capacity, since he's a former DWTS-er and all. Not to mention a talented one. And hilarious.

No official word from the show on whether this lovely star of Basketball Wives, who is neither a wife, nor involved with a basketball player, will join DWTS.

Sources say Evelyn Lozada is quitting Basketball Wives.

And it's not because she's actually engaged to a football player.

According to TMZ, Lozada believes producers committed an intentional foul against her by divulging sensitive information regarding an illicit relationship from her past.

No word yet from Evelyn, but insiders claim she has already sent producers a scathing email because she thinks they revealed this affair tidbit solely to incite a confrontation between her and another woman on the show. Weird. That doesn't sound like a reality TV trick at all!

In other Basketball Wives news, it now appears as though Allison Mathis will NOT be replacing Royce Reed after all.

UPDATE: Evelyn is reportedly demanding $20,000 per episode or she's gone.

Evelyn Lozada has a 10-carat ring on her finger and an 85 on her arm. But there's another number she's focused on in the wake of her engagement to Chad Ochocinco: One.

That's how many children she's hoping to have with this wide receiver, at least for now.

"I definitely want an Ochocinco," Lozada tells Latina Magazine. "I don't know if I want cinco, but I want an Ochocinco. I have a daughter; she's 17 and she's about to go to college. I still have the desire to be a mother and I did such a great job with her that I'm like, 'Let me do this again.' I would love to have a boy."

With Basketball Wives returning to VH1 this Sunday - yes, she's still on it, despite being engaged to a football player; you do the math - Evelyn touched on a number of other topics with the publication, as well.

Evelyn Lozada may star on Basketball Wives - returning to VH1 with new episodes on December 12!!! - but this reality star has never actually been wife.

She can't wait for that to change, however, as she gushed to People this week over her engagement to NFL wide receiver Chad Ochocinco.

Chad Ochocinco and Evelyn Lozada

"He gets who I am, supports my dreams and loves me unconditionally," she told the magazine. "I just knew he was the one from me."

While a source claims "Evelyn has been dying to have kids and is looking forward to starting a family with Ocho," the impending football wife didn't touch on that subject here.

Instead, she simply said: "I couldn't be happier with my engagement to Chad. Our friendship is true love and respect and is unlike anything that I have ever experienced."

What truly beautiful words. We wish Chad and Evelyn and their six-month marriage all the best.

Chad Ochocinco may not know how to properly spell the Spanish translation of his football number, but the Bengals wide receiver is well aware of how to spell true love:

In other, far more succinct words: the former NFL All-Pro has confirmed his engagement to Evelyn Lozada.

Evelyn Lozada, will you marry me, my bank account and my reality show career?

"It's time for me to sit down," Ochocinco told Ryan Seacrest on the latter's radio show today. "Enough is enough. I'm 32, you know, my days are over... I think I found everything I've been looking for in one person. [She's] everything I've been missing."

Lozada is a familiar name to viewers of VH1's Basketball Wives. She was once engaged to NBA star Antoine Walker, until that power forward squandered his fortune and fell over $4 million into debt. There's little doubt she and Ochocinco will last forever, though.

Forget Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson.

Sorry, Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo.

Move over, Prince William and Kate Middleton.

The biggest engagement news of the celebrity world this week comes from the NFL: Chad Ochocinco has popped the proverbial question to Evelyn Lozada - and she's said yes!

Viewers of VH1's Basketball Wives may be familiar with Lozado, who flew to Cincinnati yesterday and received the shock of a lifetime from her boyfriend of four months. Tweeted the reality star of her incomprehensibly large ring:

"I'm no rabbit but 10 carats looks good on me!! Let the hating begin."

You heard her ladies...
