The mom-to-be enjoyed lunch with fiance Eric Johnson and BFF Cacee Cobb - who's also pregnant - at the Cheesecake Factory in L.A. on Saturday.

Not a lot of healthy recipes up in that piece, but hey, what are you gonna do, right? You're only knocked up once (per year in Jessica's case)!

Two days earlier, Simpson, 32, dressed her precious baby bump in a festive pink blazer for a wildly overpriced lunch with Johnson, 33, at The Ivy.

Jessica Simpson is having a boy! The 32-year-old singer found out this week that her daughter Maxwell will have a little brother, according to reports.

“It’s Jessica’s dream come true, she prayed she was having a boy,” a source said.

“She found out this week. What with everything going on in her personal life, and her problems with her father, this has given her something to smile about."

“After a check-up at the doctor, [they] asked if she wanted to know the sex ... she said yes and when the doctor told her it was a boy she screamed with joy."

Jessica Simpson's second pregnancy was a shocker, just like the first!

She and Eric Johnson have tried to get married, she told Jay Leno on The Tonight Show Tuesday. Twice, in fact. Dude can't stop impregnating her though!

"We've had two different wedding dates, but he keeps knocking me up," she said of her fiance of two years. "We're doing it very backwards, I know."

"I'll just keep my legs crossed, I guess, next time," Simpson vowed.

It's not anything that Joe's done - at least to them - that has the couple arguing, but rather her treatment of the elder Simpson in the last six months.

Jessica wants nothing to do with Joe, 54, after his marriage to her mom Tina fell apart and he was rumored to be involved in a series of gay trysts.

Is Joe Simpson gay? That has not been confirmed, but Eric feels that Jessica has treated her dad unfairly in any case, and that has caused a rift.

Jess may have believed his marriage was truly over, but it was not the case; Eric jumped headfirst into his relationship with Jessica while they were having problems.

Jessica Simpson previously shared this bikini photo of her newborn daughter. That was ... interesting. Now she's sharing more pics of herself, her fiance and baby Maxi.

Not that we need any formal event to admire Jess' beautiful little girl in classic black and white images, but it was actually Eric Johnson's birthday last weekend.

"Daddy's 33rd Birthday," Jessica tweeted. "Last year at Daddy's party, Maxwell was in my belly. This year she's in my arms!" Adorably, at that. Check it out:

Two-month-old Maxi, who came into the world on May 1, was proud to help America celebrate its 236th birthday along with her happy parents.

Jess and Eric sure look proud, but Maxwell manages to upstage them, and the fireworks display with an adorable onesie (fortunately not a bikini onesie).

"Hope everyone had a great 4th!" wrote Simpson, 31, who dressed in an appropriately patriotic ensemble for the holiday (no cleavage this time sadly).

She's clearly taken to parenting in these past two months.

"From how I sleep to what I think about," she said earlier this summer, "Maxwell has definitely taken over everything life has completely changed."
