Vogue magazine is distancing itself from its former contributor, celebrity photographer Terry Richardson, following the latest allegations against him.

Richardson, 48, landed in hot water last weekend when a model named Emma Appleton posted a screen capture of a message allegedly from Terry saying:

"If I can f--k you I will book you in [New York] for a shoot for Vogue."

While the authenticity of the correspondence has been questioned, Vogue's lack of desire to work with Richardson again seems much more certain.

The publication said in a statement when asked for comment:

"The last assignment Terry Richardson had for US Vogue appeared in the July 2010 issue and we have no plans to work with him in the future."

Richardson, who has shot the likes of Miley Cyrus, Rihanna, Kim Kardashian, Kate Upton and Lady Gaga, has made waves many times before.

On Sunday, model Emma Appleton tweeted a message allegedly sent to her by fashion photographer Terry Richardson, suggesting a Vogue shoot in exchange for sex.

Appleton said the message/offer came from Terry’s Facebook account.

Richardson immediately denied the allegation. “This is obviously a fake. Terry did not send this text,” said his spokesperson, Candice Marks.

But Emma Appleton, who has since deleted the message, and apparently her account, stood by her story, insisting to BuzzFeed that it is authentic.

She said she deleted the screen shot to avoid further “abuse or attention.”

"Beginning to wish I hadn't posted that... it doesn't matter who you are or the what the industry is, just be a decent human being," Appleton Tweeted.

"The fact people think this is acceptable blows my fucking mind. See ya."
