We are taken with Taken 2 star Liam Neeson.

The action star appeared on Ellen yesterday and got nearly naked, stripping down to his pink skivvies in the name of a very important cause: breast cancer research.

On the program, a cancer-surviving audience member was chosen to try and nail a target with a ball, dropping a bucket of water down on the actor's head and dropping $20,000 into the hands of a charity.

Got ya, Selena Gomez!

This singer/actress, who will soon return to Wizards of Waverly Place, appeared on Ellen this week and thought she had avoided the host's patented scare tactics.

But then Selena was talking about Justin Bieber and trips she takes with her boyfriend and the crowd could see someone with a chainsaw sneaking up behind Gomez and... well...

Justin Bieber. Selena Gomez. Sex.

Pattie Mallette covered all of these topics during a taped interview for Ellen that will run today, but not in the way you might think.

After talking with the host about how much her son loves Disneyland, the 37-year old was asked about his famous girlfriend, gushing over Selena and responding:

"She's fantastic... she's good for him and they're great together."

The conversation was then steered toward an unusual decision Pattie made after she gave birth to Bieber and split from his father: she would not have sex again until she re-married. Really! Watch her discuss that decision now:

Clint Eastwood stopped by Ellen Monday and spoke out about his now-infamous "Invisible Obama" speech at the RNC. He called the response "interesting."

"The Democrats who were watching thought I was going senile," he said, smiling. "The Republicans knew I was... I was actually just trying to enjoy myself."

The former mayor of Carmel, Calif., went on to stay that his political views are more Libertarian - "where Republicans used to be" - than strictly conservative.

"You're socially liberal, leave everybody alone, but you believe in fiscal responsibility and you believe in government staying out of your life," he explained.

For that, the crowd gave the Trouble With the Curve star a round of applause:

X Factor judge Britney Spears received a lesson in the "Gangnam Style" dance by Korean pop star / YouTube sensation Psy on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

Obviously. Were you expecting anything else?

Watch the impromptu dance session below:

The 30-year-old confessed being nervous about The X Factor, which premieres tomorrow night on Fox, but at the same time, she's super psyched for it.

“I was really nervous. You have all these people behind you and you know they’re rooting you on,” Britney Spears expressed to Ellen. “Its really exciting."

"It's an electric thing to do. But you know after we got out there and the cast is amazing. Demi and L.A. are great. And we had fun. We had a lot of fun.”

Hey, did you hear that Miley Cyrus chopped off most of her hair? And dyed it blonde?

It's true. Photos are all over the singer's Twitter account, as are a series of defensive statements and inspirational quotes in response to mounting criticism over the look.

It's all about self love, Cyrus wrote yesterday.

Ellen DeGeneres vs. Miley

But there's at least one celebrity who doesn't just like Miley's new look... she's copied it!

Despite already owning a hairstyle not too dissimilar from Cyrus' new short locks, Ellen DeGeneres Tweeted the above image of herself in a wig and gave the 19-year old props today, writing that she loves the revamped 'do.

What do you think? Which of these stars wears this cut better?

Russell Brand and Katy Perry might as well be teaching Celebrity Breakups 101.

Proving that a split doesn't have to be bitter or contentious just because it's painful, the comedian opened up to Ellen DeGeneres about his recent divorce and had only positive things to say about former wife Katy Perry.

"I still love her as a human being," he said. "But, sometimes when you're in a relationship I suppose it doesn't work out, does it? You can't absolutely make everything the way you want it to be in life. But that doesn't mean I regret it or anything."

"Sometimes things are just different and then you move with that and try and remain in contact with what is beautiful about yourself and each other."

"I was very happy to be married with her," Brand continued. "She's such a beautiful human being and I just have only love and positivity for her."

Perry has since rebounded with Florence + The Machine guitarist Robert Ackroyd, with whom she was spotted packing on the PDA at Coachella.

Still, it's time to move on. Last week, Brand finally unfollowed her on Twitter.

Also on Ellen, Brand weighed in on various newsworthy items of the day, including the Time Magazine breastfeeding cover. You gotta watch.

Recalling the night Whitney Houston died in her hotel room, Bobby Brown tells Ellen DeGeneres that he performed because she would've wanted him to.

Despite many critics feeling it was poor taste for her ex-husband to perform at his scheduled show February 11, Brown has zero regrets ... big surprise.

"I was in Mississippi performing and I got the call. Of course, I tried to get a flight. Tried to rent a jet. Whatever I had to do," he told Ellen Wednesday.

"But it was impossible. So I knew the best thing that she would've wanted me to do was perform. You know, we are performers. That's what we did."

"That's what we do and she would want the best for me."

In retrospect, she might have wanted several other things from Brown that we don't even need to get into here. Nevertheless, Bobby is guilt free.

Which isn't to say he wasn't saddened. Brown broke down backstage pre-show and declined to join his New Edition bandmates for the opening song.

Once he took the stage, he shouted, "I love you, Whitney!" and blew a kiss to the sky, looking visibly teary at the tragic news he'd learned hours ago.

One week later, Brown peaced out of her funeral early with his family in tow, then showed up to perform that night at Foxwoods in Connecticut.

Somehow, Alicia Etheridge plans to marry this guy.

John Mayer has been out of commission lately. Not that we're complaining.

Turns out neither is he. In his first interview in over a year, the singer-songwriter told Ellen DeGeneres yesterday that his infamous Playboy and Rolling Stone interviews in 2010 made him reflect on his life and become an adult.

"I did a couple of really dumb interviews and it woke me up," he said. "I lost my head for a little while. I lost touch and I didn’t want to ask for directions."

John said he needed to act 34 "instead of 28 for the fifth year" and escape to small-town Montana where he recorded his new album, Born and Raised.

The experience of living and recording out there "rocketed" him into adulthood, with Mayer saying he needed "a few years just to figure it out."

As for Born and Raised, out next week, it's his "honest and cohesive" album yet, with John saying that leaving the spotlight after relationships with "sexual napalm" herself Jessica Simpson and Jennifer Aniston was the best thing he ever did.

"I live in Montana, in the middle of nowhere," he said.

"It's really excellent... you get to a certain age where you prepare for happiness, but you sometimes don't remember to get happy. I remembered how to get happy."

Sounds remarkably un-douchebag-like, doesn't it? Who is this Dances With Wolves-like man and what has he done with John Mayer?

Ellen DeGeneres Quotes

I’m thrilled that the California supreme court overturned the ban on gay marriage. I can’t wait to get married. We all deserve the same rights, and I believe that someday we’ll look back on this and not allowing gays to marry will seem as absurd as not allowing women to vote.

You showed us something in that film that I have not seen for a very, very long time.
