Recent reports have been confirmed by a friend close to Elin Nordegren: She's got a new boyfriend in Jamie Dingman, it's fun, and she's happy!

After her divorce from Tiger Woods, Elin instantly became one of the most eligible and desirable women on Earth ... but also sought to lay low.

It wasn't until a year and a half later that she was ready to move on and was spotted kissing and hugging Jamie Dingman in Stockholm, Sweden:

A source confirmed to People that the two are an item, but still "at the beginning of dating, where you don't know where it's going to go."

Elin met Jamie, a financier, at a charity dinner in Florida benefiting Queen Silvia of Sweden's World Childhood Foundation on April 2.

Despite rumors to the contrary, such as Elin dating a student in Florida last summer, this is Nordegren's first post-split relationship:

A report surfaced last weekend that Elin Nordegren's new boyfriend, Jamie Dingman, used to date Rachel Uchitel, Tiger Woods' shady #1 mistress.

It seems almost too coincidental, but apparently Elin did not know about this prior to TMZ's report, and she is pissed now. We can't imagine why.

To hear sources close to Jamie Dingman tell it, his involvement with Uchitel was in fact real, but not as serious was what was initially reported.

Sources claim Jamie only hooked up with Rachel twice in October 2009 (two months before the Woods scandal erupted), but that they never had sex.

TMZ says Rachel and Jamie initially became involved professionally, working on a new investment business. The nature of the business is not known.

In any case, the two both stayed in the Miami home of Chris Barish, the third partner in their prospective business, for 2-3 weeks in October 2009.

During that stretch, Jamie came into Rachel's room late night and hooked up with her twice. Rachel discussed it with Barish the morning after each.

Jamie Dingman, whose dad is a billionaire tycoon, has been dating Elin Nordegren for several months. Prior to Elin, Jamie and Rachel dated fairly recently - there was even some overlap with Tiger, which Jamie was aware of!

When Rachel Uchitel was getting more serious with Tiger, Jamie reportedly joked. "That's okay. I'll date his wife, Elin." It gets weirder still:

At the time the Tiger scandal broke, they were living together in Miami! 

One last bizarre connection comes from Jen Madden, the girl who sold the Woods story. Staying at her friend's home, she learned about Rachel Uchitel's affair with Tiger when she overheard her talking about it ... with Jamie.

No clue if Elin Nordegren is aware of any of this, but if she's not, we can't imagine it's going to go over too well when someone clues her in.

Then again, maybe it's a little bit of payback.

We told you earlier that Elin Nordegren has a new boyfriend in Jamie Dingman, a wealthy American investor. Now we've got photo evidence!

The New York Post reports that Jamie Dingman, whose father is billionaire Michael Dingman, has been dating Elin Nordegren for several months.

Swedish newspaper Expressen spotted Nordegren and Dingman kissing outside her Stockholm apartment earlier this week. Check it out:

Pre-Elin, Dingman has been romantically linked to model/ actress Bridget Moynahan (Tom Brady's ex) and Princess Madeleine of Sweden.

The Post says Dingman splits time between China, the Bahamas, Florida and Sweden (Nordegren has homes in the latter two) as of late.

For what it's worth (a lot!), Nordegren recently put her three-bedroom, two bathroom Stockholm penthouse on the market for $5 million.

The mother of two was last linked to a 35-year-old South African student she met at a Florida college where they were both taking classes.

Tiger Woods? Who knows what that guy's up to anymore.

TMZ, via a Swedish photo agency, broke the story, citing photographs of him kissing and hugging Elin Nordegren at her apartment in Sweden.

The photos of Elin and Jamie Dingman together have not been released ... yet. But they're definitely together, and he's definitely not poor.

Elin Nordegren is back in the dating game.

Jamie's dad, Michael Dingman, is a wealthy investor, while Jamie himself specialized in Russian private equity funds and owned an Indy car-racing team.

Interestingly, he reportedly dated Bridget Moynahan, Tom Brady's ex, before Elin, and was also romantically linked to Princess Madeleine of Sweden.

He's got quite a Swedish princess right now, it appears!

Spirces say he and Elin met at a Red Cross charity event in Florida in January and "he and Elin have strong feelings for each other," a friend said.

"He's a classic all-American guy, but very private. He's handsome, a total gentleman and low-key. He's never been in the press. Elin's a very lucky girl."

The source added, "He doesn't play golf."

As for Tiger Woods, who divorced Elin last year after his philandering with myriad VIP cocktail waitresses was exposed, his relationship status is unclear.

The family (sans Tiges) visited Disney World with birthday girl Sam wearing an adorable polka-dot skirt and two-year-old Charlie looking sporty.

Nine months after divorcing the golfer in one of the most shocking celebrity scandals in recent memory, Elin appears to be happy on her own.

As for the romantic prospects of Elin Nordegren, she's in no rush.

"She was seeing a banker in Florida for about three months, but that went nowhere," an insider tells Us Weekly, and as for Tiger Woods, "She hates him," seethes a source. "She doesn't see him or speak to him."

Here's hoping those relations thaw for these awesome kids' sake.

Eight months after divorcing Tiger Woods, the Swedish model "was seeing a banker in Florida for three months, but that went nowhere," an insider says.

That's too bad, but at least she's putting herself out there.

As for the father of her children? Relations have been better. "The only interaction they have is when she drops the kids off," adds the inside source.

"That's it. She hates Tiger. She doesn't see him or speak with him. And they have their custody schedule already set through the end of the year."

Well ... at least there's no ugly custody battle raging.

When she's not seeking a new boyfriend, Elin Nordegren spends her time taking classes at Rollins College and renovating her North Palm Beach home.

"She is is knocking it down and rebuilding on the lot," says the source, adding that she's renting a place nearby. "She's doing really well."

With the super-private Woods, who actually did a few interviews this week, just down the road, Elin made good on her promise to keep their kids close.

This was supposedly Tiger's biggest stipulation in their split, much more so than money. If nothing else, hopefully they can raise the children amicably.

Elin Nordegren is taking the couple's two kids, Sam and Charlie, off to Sweden over the Christmas holidays, leaving the golf great all alone in Florida.

The blonde beauty and the kids will first visit London to visit her sister Josefin, then head to Sweden to spend time with her family. Tiger? Not invited.

"Elin negotiated a deal with Tiger to let him have the kids over Thanksgiving, if she could have them for Christmas," a source close to the pair said.
