Tiger Woods will be completing his sex addiction rehab treatment this week and none other than wife Elin Woods is picking him up, according to reports.

Elin has flown to Hattiesburg, Miss., to bring Tiger home, sources say.

Fight For the Kids

The embattled golfing legend is at the end of his program at Gentle Path. When Tiger leaves he and Elin plan to go away together, alone, for a few days.

Reports suggest, and anecdotal evidence supports that Elin Woods has called off the divorce – at least for now – and is giving Tiger a second chance.

Elin Woods previously spent five days with Tiger as part of his therapy program. Security made sure she was unseen by the media in Hattiesburg.

Amazingly, Elin and Tiger Woods may still make this work.

“He should be out by the weekend,” a source close to the situation said, noting that it's just the beginning. “They are giving their marriage another try.”

Tiger Woods was planning to return to golf by the Spring, according to various reports, and that is still on schedule. He may try to play even sooner.

“He wants his life back,” one source said.

Tiger has been in rehab for about six weeks. A secret life of cheating was exposed when the National Enquirer outed his relationship with Rachel Uchitel.

There are 11 Tiger Woods mistresses we know about, and probably even more. But somehow, he seems to have weathered the marital storm with Elin.

We've debated if sex rehab can help Tiger Woods salvage his marriage and be a better man. The latter is up for debate, but it seems to have done the former.

Despite his astounding string of sexual exploits, Tiger's wife, Elin Nordegren, has called off any plans to divorce the world's #1 golfer, according to reports.

Elin Nordegren Woods, Kids

Elin spent last week visiting Tiger in his sex addiction rehab program. Time and Tiger's actions since the scandal broke prompted her not to file for divorce.

Sources say initially, Elin Woods made up her mind to dump her husband after he was linked to more countless mistresses and his secret life was revealed.

But Tiger has begged for a second chance, sought treatment to save his marriage with the help of sex addiction therapy and so far it seems to be working.

"He's told her he's serious about making it work and doing whatever he can," the source said. "The stress has taken a big toll, but she's a strong woman."

Somehow, it looks like Tiger Woods' marriage will survive.

A big reason for her eventual willingness to reconcile? Elin Woods, a child of divorce herself, doesn't want to raise their two little children without a father.

"Elin wants a solid family life," according to a Florida insider, and Tiger wants to hold onto his family and will do whatever it takes to make that happen.

"Tiger wants to go back to being a golf star with endorsements," a source told People. "But keeping the family together is the most important thing to Tiger so he is doing whatever it takes to keep Elin from leaving him with the kids."

Even go through a six-week counseling session in which he comes clean about all his dalliances - and then some - with his spouse right there with him.

Not that there are many secrets left, after Elin's texting with Rachel Uchitel blew the lid off his affair and the tabloids uncovered another 11 mistresses.

"This is the rough part where the patient has to admit that he [cheated]," a former patient of the Mississippi clinic where Tiger is being treated says.

It looks like it's working though. Rebuilding his image will be another story ...

Lies. Ambien. Text message impersonation. Golf club-wielding insanity.

The Daily Beast cites close Elin Woods sources in piecing together the clearest picture yet of the Tiger Woods scandal, a.k.a. the most expensive car crash in history.

Derek Lowe Mug Shot

These sources' details mesh with the more credible accounts of the post-Thanksgiving altercation to date, and we've excerpted some scandalous details here:

During the run-up to Thanksgiving, Tiger gave Elin advance warning that the National Enquirer was about to run a story claiming he had an affair with Rachel Uchitel.

Woods swore the story was false and that he had only met Uchitel 1-2 times at social outings. The day before Thanksgiving, Tiger convinced Uchitel to talk to Elin.

Rachel Uchitel spoke to her for half an hour, and Elin believed that the relationship was platonic - until she read the Enquirer's specifics of the purported affair.

Sources say Elin Woods busted Rachel Uchitel via text message.

That evening, the two argued. Tiger decided to end the bickeringby taking Ambien and going to sleep (he often took Ambien to help him sleep - and bang Uchitel).

After Woods fell asleep, Elin looked through his phone, found texts to Uchitel (under her real name) and discovered one saying “You are the only one I’ve loved.”

Shortly after 1 a.m. in Florida, Elin began texting Rachel Uchitel, pretending to be Tiger, writing “I miss you,” and asking, “When are we seeing each other again?”

Uchitel texted back, surprised that Woods was awake. Elin felt this response indicated that the two of them spoke earlier that night, before Tiger took his Ambien.

At that point, Elin Woods called Uchitel, who answered thinking it was Tiger. Elin said something approximating, “I knew it was you.” Uchitel’s shocked reply: “Oh f--k.”

She immediately hung up.

Is Tiger Woods' estranged wife Elin visiting him in sex addiction rehab to help him make amends for his past transgressions? That's what we're hearing.

The golfer's spouse supposedly visited him at Gentle Path in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, over the weekend, though she has already returned to Orlando.

E-Nord

Elin Woods has spent the past several days with Tiger, participating in his treatment program for sexually compulsive behavior, according to a report.

"The marriage is definitely not over. They both want to save it," a source familiar with the situation said, and we're inclined to believe it at this point.

After all, wouldn't it be over by now if it were going to be?

Can the Woods family work this out?

Elin Woods was with Tiger in Mississippi for approximately five days and private security was hired to keep her out of sight during the golfer's recovery therapy.

While she was out of town, her twin sister and her nanny took care of the couple's two young children. Elin's twin took the kids to Sea World during that time.

It really looks like Tiger and his wife are trying to make this work.

The question is whether it's possible. Can he undo to the damage wrought by more than a dozen mistresses? Do you think he can emerge from this a better man?

Tiger Woods' scorned wife has not left him yet, according to new reports, and it looks like she may not do so anytime soon, if at all! Are he and Elin making it work?

The golfer's marriage is "definitely not over," a source says, and that's because he realized he was about to lose everything when his cheating ways were exposed.

Elin and Charlie Woods

After Elin Woods threatened to take their children away from him and move back to Sweden permanently, Tiger fought to stop her - and he has, at least for now.

"Elin could have filed for divorce already but she hasn't," the source added.

"Of course, she has not indicated definitively that she planning on staying with Tiger, but what's happening now is crucially important."

What's happening now is Tiger is in sex addiction rehab in Mississippi.

The Woods' troubles are well-documented, but they're working it out!

While Elin is no longer wearing her wedding ring, she's canceled plans to file divorce papers after Tiger pleaded that he would do what it takes to make things work.

The threat of Elin taking their two young children and moving back to Sweden went a long way to convincing Tiger to go to rehab, where Elin has not been yet.

She may visit him there as part of his rehabilitation process, however. Tiger's program calls for her to spend seven full days of counseling with him in the facility.

After Tiger's affair with Rachel Uchitel was outed by the National Enquirer, he was linked to at least a dozen mistresses and his secret double life was exposed.

The question is whether he can rebound, and whether Elin will give him the chance. Do you think sex addiction rehab will work for him? Tell us:

While Tiger Woods struggles to repair his reputation, and more importantly his life, the intentions of his beleaguered wife, Elin Nordegren, are anyone's guess.

A new report today suggests that Elin is planning on running away to her Swedish homeland for good - and she wants to take the couple's two kids with her.

Fight For the Kids

Tiger recently headed to the Pine Grove Behavioral Health and Addiction Services in Hattiesburg, Miss. Woods, as we know, is being treated for sex addiction.

Elin has not been seen at or near the rehab facility.

Instead, sources say she has been plotting her escape from the Florida home she has been sharing with her cheating husband since their 2004 wedding.

Of course, reports that Elin Nordegren is in Sweden with the kids may be accurate in that she's there, but not in that she's planning never to return.

Have we seen the last of Tiger Woods' family as we knew it?

“She’s reminded daily of the havoc he’s wreaked on her and her children's lives, which is why she’s planning on staying in Sweden full-time," a source said.

"She wants to be near her family,” explains an insider. “Tiger has tried to reach her, but Elin won’t take his calls.” We're not so sure we're buying this report.

Ever since we first heard rumblings of Tiger Woods in rehab, it was part of a greater narrative: He'd undergo treatment and counseling to save the marriage.

According to a source with knowledge of the program he's in, Elin may well make an appearance there as part of Woods' rehabilitation and recovery effort.

Lastly, she hasn't divorced him yet. Wouldn't she have done so already if she planned to, given that the dude slept with 679 waitresses? It doesn't add up.

What do you think? Will sex rehab save Tiger's marriage?

A New York Times Magazine writer confirmed last night what rumors have suggested for days: that Tiger Woods is a patient at Gentle Path, a sex addiction program at Pine Grove, a private treatment center in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.

Benoit Denizet-Lewis, who has written extensively about his sex addiction, including his own, confirmed on his personal blog Monday that Woods is at the clinic.

In his book America Anonymous: Eight Addicts in Search of a Life, he notes that Gentle Path  "is directed by Patrick Carnes, one of the world's leading experts.

The official website for Pine Grove says that the Gentle Path program is "for those suffering from sexual addiction, relationship addiction and sexual anorexia."

Denizet-Lewis speculates Woods may have begun sex rehab treatment elsewhere - such as the Meadows treatment center in Arizona, where he was allegedly spotted.

What does sex addiction treatment entail, exactly? The reporter explains that the usual regimen includes group therapy sessions as well as family and couples therapy.

Tiger's wife, Elin Woods, has not been spotted at the facility, but that may change as his treatment progresses, at least according to the author's own experience.

"If Tiger and his wife, Elin, are serious about repairing their marriage," he writes on his blog, "then she will be spending some time in Hattiesburg with Tiger."

Another typical requirement: patients must sign a "celibacy contract" - a promise "not to have sex with anyone, or to masturbate, while in treatment."

In his book, Denizet-Lewis writes of other typical sex-clinic practices, including "empathy letters" for unfaithful married men and "cost letters" for their wives:

"Men who had repeatedly cheated on their wives had to write 'empathy letters' to them, which would never be sent but were read in group therapy sessions and usually criticized for not being nearly empathetic enough," he recalls.

On a similar note, sex addicts' wives "wrote their own, painful 'cost letters' - detailing how the sexual addiction had affected them - that were read to their husbands for the first time in group by another group member."

We expect Elin's will be a mile long - you could spend hours on just Rachel Uchitel. In all seriousness, we hope Tiger finds what he's looking for in rehab. He's obviously a troubled guy, and if Elin wants to give him a chance, that's her choice.

Tiger Woods reportedly entered rehab for sex addiction last week.

Numerous sources say he is receiving treatment at Pine Grove Behavioral Health and Addiction Services in Hattiesburg, Miss., and that it's strictly a solo endeavor.

The golfer's wife, Elin Nordegren, has stayed away from the facility and not seen her husband since he was admitted, as speculation continues about their future.

No need for her to visit. The P.I. tailing him should report back.

Tiger also has no roommate, at his request, during his stay at the facility, which is considered to be one of the best sex addiction treatment centers in the U.S.

REHABBING SEX ADDICT: If recent reports are true, Tiger Woods is definitely the biggest star in the history of sex addiction rehab. You missed out, Dr. Drew.

Tiger has been linked to at least 11 women in one of the most shocking and sordid sex scandals of all time. Rumors of other, unrevealed mistresses are still surfacing.

His affair with Rachel Uchitel was exposed by the National Enquirer and led to a huge fight with Elin Woods, which led to the revelation of the golf great's secret life.

While he has not been seen publicly since Thanksgiving, Woods is said to be pulling out all the stops to save his marriage against all odds. Can it possibly be done?

Maybe. Elin is believed to be still on the fence. Despite being photographed sans wedding ring, she has made no statements about the future of their marriage.

Rumors of Woods entering rehab follow reports last month suggesting he would do just that in January as a step toward reconcilation with Elin. So stay tuned.

Tiger Woods' wife, Elin Nordgeren, may or may not be planning to divorce the golfing legend, but sources say she's hired a P.I. to dig up everything on him.

Everything that a dozen mistresses haven't already told her?

Elin Nordegren's New House

Numerous reports have suggested that Elin hired divorce top gun Sorrell Trope to handled her multi-million dollar break-up from her philandering hubby.

Others have suggested that she is still unsure about whether to actually terminate their marriage. He won't throw in the towel and she's on the fence.

Will Tiger and Elin Woods' marriage survive?

Regardless, Elin wants to know what Tiger's worth - and doing: "Elin knows hiring a private investigator is a smart move," a source told the Mirror (UK).

"Her lawyers want to make sure she gets every penny she's entitled to." If she decides to end it, 'she has the future of their children to think about."

It turns out Elin Woods may not be the only ones curious about Tiger's finances, as there have been rumblings about Tiger's charitable foundations.

As if his image couldn't be tarnished any further, there may be an inquiry into whether he funneled hush money to mistresses from his non-profits.

Tiger Woods' wife may or may not be divorcing his cheating a$$, but she's definitely clearing her head - by going skiing thousands of miles away.

At least we think that the heartbroken Elin Nordegren is that far away from Tiger in the French Alps. No one has seen the guy in a month-plus.

According to the Sun (UK), Elin is seeking refuge in a posh, £5,000-a-night chalet as Tiger continues to live in seclusion at home in the U.S.

As she wrestles with her future, Elin Woods is holed up with her twin sister Josefin and five trusted pals, plus a hired French security detail.

Pals say Elin makes a point of being up at 6:30 a.m. every day and insists on being independent, as per "her traditional family lifestyle."

She has not been seen with Tiger Woods since the car crash outside their Florida mansion which exposed his loooong string of mistresses.

SKI BUNNY: Elin Woods is in the French Alps. Tiger? Who knows.

A family friend told The Sun: "Elin wanted to take her family and close friends away from the minefield Tiger has created by his behavior."

"She has been absolutely torn to pieces by what he has done to her. But she still sees a future with Tiger because of their beautiful children."

Will they reconcile? It's unclear. But "she told him she needed a lengthy time apart to reflect on how they might possibly salvage the marriage."

Tiger's whereabouts since the infamous crash have become a frequently-discussed topic in recent weeks, with little conclusive evidence to go on.

It has been claimed Tiger was seen with Rachel Uchitel - the first woman linked to him - at a party and in a club, but she vehemently denied this.

There were also rumors circulating that he had plastic surgery in Phoenix after Elin smashed his face with a golf club, but that too was debunked.
