LeAnn Rimes' uneasy relationship with Brandi Glanville has been well established, but new reports have shed light on just how uneasy things once were.

Glanville, now a star of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, made other threats so serious that Rimes seriously considered getting a restraining order.

Rimes, now married to Glanville’s ex-husband Eddie Cibrian, began an affair with Eddie while he and Brandi were married. This did not go over well.

“Brandi has told LeAnn to her face multiple times that she would kill her if she could,” a source close told Celebuzz of the bad blood that boiled.

Should LeAnn be scared for her safety? Even now?

“LeAnn is scared of Brandi and believes she is unstable. LeAnn’s own mother is concerned for her daughter’s safety too and regularly calls her to tell her so.”

In an interview with Australia’s NW magazine, Brandi Glanville recalled how she flew into a rage the first time she saw Rimes at her son’s soccer game.

“I remember walking up to practice and there she was with my baby in her lap,” Brandi said. “My blood was boiling, and I thought I was going to kill her."

"I really thought I was going to physically hurt her."

“But that was the first time I saw her that way – she was sitting in my soccer chair, under my tent, she’s got my kid on her lap and she’s there with my husband, and that was that little moment of total irrational fury.”

Bravo was set to make Brandi Glanville a regular on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills before she revealed her kids could not appear, reports say.

Her ex, Eddie Cibrian, and his new wife LeAnn Rimes put the kibosh on that.

Brandi was to graduate from ‘friend’ to full-fledged cast member on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills in Season 3, but Bravo yanked the offer.

“Bravo wanted her to have her kids on the show in order to expand story lines,” a source says of Glanville. “But Leann and Eddie wouldn't allow it.”

Eddie and LeAnn, who just marked their one-year anniversary by renewing their vows, started an affair while married to their respective spouses.

They filed for divorce and married each other not long afterward.

Despite the multiple photo-ops where the exes are seen smiling at the kids’ events together, there's still plenty of tension between Eddie's women.

Move over, Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon. LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian marked a year of wedded bliss by renewing their vows this week as well.

LeAnn and Eddie got married April 22 of last year. Friday, they took a romantic trip to Calabasas, Calif., where they decided to exchange I-dos once more.

"We renewed our vows today....it's incredible to thank each other for the past year as husband and wife," Rimes tweeted. "Here's to another great year!"

LeAnn and Eddie, who were married to Dean Sheremet and Brandi Glanvllle, respectively, when they first got together, have come a long way since then.

Weathering a storm of criticism, they've settled into their new life nicely.

The pair spent time relaxing near the ocean, with Rimes tweeting, "CHILLING....listening to Radiohead and enjoying the view... man and beach :)."

Saturday, the Twitter-loving country singer said, "Eddie and I went climbing on the rocks in the ocean yesterday to see the thousands of crabs. I did not realize til now just how dab I kicked a rock with two of my toes...OUCH."

Ouch indeed … but at least true love heals all woulds, or something.

LeAnn Rimes, country star and wife of Eddie Cibrian, is reportedly mulling a tell-all book in which she speaks candidly about romance, marriage and divorce.

The 29-year-old has been a celebrity gossip staple since her affair with now-husband Eddie Cibrian - a tryst that broke up both of their marriages at the time.

Rimes and Cibrian first fell in love in 2009 on the set of the Lifetime's Northern Lights. After a scrutinized courtship, LeAnn and Eddie married last April.

Rimes' rep is "putting out feelers" to find the right person to help write her autobiography and "tell LeAnn's side of the story in her own voice."

How juicy will it be? A publishing source says she "wants it to be a very honest book so she can speak directly to her fans and tell her side of the story."

"She's been through a lot of changes over the past few years," the insider adds, "and this is LeAnn's chance to speak candidly to her fans."

Also planning to write a book? Cibrian's ex-wife Brandi Glanville.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star tweeted last month that her story "has been a long time coming [and it's] about surviving divorce."

Will both ladies take the literary high road? Or would this reignite what has been an ongoing, intermittent feud for years? We'll have to stay tuned.

“I realized it was all about the product, and not about me.”

Still, Cibrian, who appears in the upcoming Tyler Perry film Good Deeds, makes it pretty hard to focus on those towels ... are we right ladies?

Looks like LeAnn Rimes and Brandi Glanville are going at it again ... on Twitter, obviously. What better way to instigate a feud than under the cover of social media!

Eddie Cibrian's ex-wife Brandi is upset this time because their two sons, Mason and Jake, spent Thanksgiving with Eddie and LeAnn Rimes, EVIL stopmom that she is.

Moreover, he's trying to get them for Christmas too. Brandi claims Eddie sent her a threatening e-mail about their custody pact. Then LeAnn Tweeted this photo:

Brandi also says she thinks her custody fight is one of the reasons The Playboy Club got canceled and he's punishing her for it in return. Does that have merit?

Who's to say. But The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills hot mess has a way with words, particularly online, and quickly fired off this Tweet to a friend about it:

On The Ellen DeGeneres Show Thursday, LeAnn Rimes spoke about the controversy she generated when she began her infamous affair with Eddie Cibrian.

"It could've been handled a lot better," she says of her conduct.

"Maybe we both didn't have the tools at the time to do it properly," she says. "But I've learned a lot. Sometimes you just want to scream. But you don't."

"We've learned to let it go and laugh at it at the end of the day."

They did get married in the end, so ... there's that.

The two were, of course, married to other people when they began dating - Rimes to Dean Sheremet and Cibrian to Brandi Glanville. But the past is the past.

LeAnn Rimes' weight also came up on the broadcast, with the singer calling fans' criticism of her slender frame disrespectful and likening it to bullying.

LeAnn Rimes' weight has become a cause for concern.

Everybody from Twitter followers to Giuliana Rancic has been weighing in (pun intended) on the country star's frame of late, even as Rimes repeatedly asserts that her thin physique is due to exercise, not starvation.

Her husband, Eddie Cibrian, says he can vouch for that.

The Playboy Club star told Access Hollywood that rumors regarding his wife irritate him because "I know she’s healthy - she eats more than I do sometimes!"

"She eats healthy, but she works out pretty hard too, and she actually takes pride in the way she looks," Cibrian added. "It’s a shame that people will jump on the bandwagon just because she is fit - and she’s far from unhealthy."

"[LeAnn] works out like crazy... she works out hard. She boxes. She trains."

The latest round of hubbub about LeAnn's weight began August 30, when bikini photos were published online showing a much thinner, more vascular LeAnn.

Rimes shoots back at her critics frequently. This time, Eddie did it for her.

LeAnn Rimes got a tattoo on Sunday to honor hubby Eddie Cibrian.

Fortunately, unlike certain people (cough, Kat Von D), he is believed to have gotten only a temporary one ... and not a giant picture of her man's face.

The 28-year-old country star had her wedding vows written onto her ribcage at Lollapalooza's Miami Express Yourself Oasis and Express Rocks suite.

The homage to her marriage to The Playboy Club star reads: "You gave me the courage to be truthful. I promise to give you the comfort to be trustful."

Infamously, both Rimes and Cibrian, 38, were married to other people when they fell in love on the set of the Lifetime film Northern Lights in 2008.

Their affair was exposed. Tumult ensued. Rimes' and Cibrian's respective marriages began to implode, even as they tried to deny the affair at first.

He follows in some gorgeous footsteps: Sex and the City‘s Jason Lewis and Halle Berry‘s ex Gabriel Aubry have both been in the buff for Charisma, too.

Interestingly, Eddie's former wife, Brandi Glanville, can also be seen on TV soon, having joined The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 2 cast.
