Dr. Dre Bio
Dr. Dre (real name Andre Young) is one of the biggest names in hip-hop, if not all music. He is best known as a producer and executive but has had an enormously successful careers as an artist as well, first with NWA, then solo, then collaborating with Snoop Dogg, Eminem and others. He is credited with helping launch rap into the cultural mainstream. Dr. Dre's son, Andre Young Jr., was found dead in August 2008. R.I.P.
