The deadline for Barack Obama to reveal his college transcripts and receive $5 million from Donald Trump has passed.

But a new offer is on the table.

On a Fox affiliate in Dallas last night, Mavericks owner Mark Cuban referred to Trump's gesture as "one of the dumbest things ever" and then made his very own pitch to The Donald:

Shave your head and a charity of your choice will receive $1 million:

Trump never did respond to Stephen Colbert offering the same amount for a ball dip, so we doubt he'll acknowledge Cuban in this case.

But should Trump take the bait?

Yup. It turns out Donald Trump actually can get worse.

In the wake of Superstorm Sandy slamming New York City, the real estate mogul has taken to Twitter. To wish his fellow Big Apple residents well? Of course not.

To extend the deadline for Barack Obama to respond to his donation-for-college-transcripts offer.

"Because of the hurricane, I am extending my 5 million dollar offer for President Obama's favorite charity until 12PM on Thursday," Trump wrote today.

What a total and complete moron. Here's an idea, The Donald: why not donate those five million bucks to the hurricane relief effort instead?

Oh, and how about you respond to Stephen Colbert's $1 million offer?

Well, you have one person on your side, Donald Trump.

But it's someone the world may hate even more than you these days.

Ann Coulter - who is facing criticism from all sides for referring to Barack Obama as a retard - appeared on Hannity last night and was asked about The Donald's pledge to give $5 million to charity in exchange for the President's full college transcripts.

"I love it," the conservative commentator said. "[Republicans] need somebody like Donald Trump on our side."

Do you agree?

So, who is the worst human being on the planet?

Stephen Colbert has made an enticing offer to Donald Trump.

In response to Trump's pledge that he will donate $5 million to the charity of Barack Obama's choice, provided the President release his full college transcript, The Colbert Report host has addressed The Donald and offered the following:

$1 million to the charity of Trump's choice... if Trump lets Colbert dip his testicles into his mouth any time prior to Halloween eve.

"Nothing would make me happier than to write this check," Colbert says to Trump. "And nothing would make America happier than to have something going into your mouth than coming out of it."

Should Trump accept the offer?

Donald Trump was a guest on Piers Morgan Tonight on Wednesday, standing staunchly by the $5 million charity pledge he made yesterday, provided President Barack Obama releases his college transcripts.

"It's not a publicity stunt," the Celebrity Apprentice host said. "I'm not looking to pay $5 million. Frankly, I have other things. I have my own charities that I contribute to … It's a serious, very serious offer."

Trump goes on to say he's making a "positive" gesture here, trying to help Obama become more transparent while, of course, assisting a good cause.

Asks the attention-ravenous real estate mogul:

"If there's nothing wrong with his applications, if everything's fine, why wouldn't he do it? I think that would be a terrible thing of the President, to not do it in order to pick up $5 million."

Trump also suggests that Mitt Romney and the President arrive at a deal: the former releases his tax returns (which Trump hilariously refers to as "beautiful") from the last decade, while Obama comes clean with all of his transcripts.

What do you think? Of Trump? And of this question: Should Obama take the charity bait?

Donald Trump tried to drop a bombshell on the 2012 Presidential Election this afternoon... only for it to land with a thud.

The real estate mogul will donate $5 million to a charity of Barack Obama's choice if POTUS unveils his college transcripts?!? That's an offer, not a piece of news.

As you might expect, the non-reveal made for some entertaining Twitter fodder. We've collected some of the best celebrity-based responses below...

Patton Oswalt: "Ransom needy kids for attention! Do it! DO IT!" -- @realDonaldTrump's possessed scalp-mop, which apparently controls him."

Damon Lindelof: "Donald Trump's bold gambit is kinda like Mel Gibson's in RANSOM, except incredibly f--king stupider…Mr. President, I too will write a $5 million check, but only if you can MAKE YOURSELF ACTUALLY TRANSPARENT. (a la Violet from Incredibles)."

Donald Trump's much-touted Obama "bombshell" announcement really wasn't much of one ... although he did make an intriguing offer to the President.

The Donald claimed credit for getting the President to release his birth certificate last year, then called on him to be fully transparent with the public.

If Obama releases his college transcripts, passport applications and other records by October 31, Trump will cut a $5 million check to his charity of choice.

That's it. As PR stunts go, not his best work.

As many predicted, Trump focused on Obama's perceived lack of transparency, though he sort of misled us into thinking he actually had some new info on the guy.

Anyway, should Obama take Trump up on it?

For reasons known only to himself, Donald Trump has offered some advice to Robert Pattinson.

Now that the actor is back together with Kristen Stewart (and planning a secret wedding?!?), the Celebrity Apprentice boss has taken to Twitter and delivered the following words of wisdom:

  • Donald Trump Red Carpet Pic
  • Profile of Robert Pattinson

"Robert Pattinson should not take back Kristen Stewart. She cheated on him like a dog & will do it again — just watch. He can do much better!"

This, of course, is a view shared by many others. But most of them are 14-year old Twihards.

Where do you stand on Trump's assessment? Can Robert Pattinson do better than Kristen Stewart?
