Justin Bieber has apologized for racist videos made while the pop mega-star was still in his teens, but many understandably feel that even the sincerest admission of guilt is simply not enough, given the abhorrent content of Bieber's bigoted "jokes."

One such critic is rapper Lupe Fiasco who recently likened Justin's comments to the blatantly racist remarks made by Donald Sterling, former owner of the LA Clippers.

"Justin Bieber said it, so it's cool and people are already coming to his defense," said Fiasco in an interview with MTV.

"Donald Sterling made a billion dollars when he sold the team and then there was such an uproar over someone who didn't use the N-word at all, but then you have someone who made a very racist joke about it - I wonder if Justin's gonna get the same treatment as Donald Sterling."

A new audio recording of Donald Sterling has hit the Internet.

In this tape, however, Sterling is not making racist comments. Instead, he's trying to state the case that he isn't actually a racist.

"You think I’m a racist?” Sterling asks a long-time friend in a recorded phone conversation. “You think I have anything in the world but love for everybody? You don’t think that! You know I’m not a racist!"

The identity of the man on the other line is unknown, but Radar insists the tape is real. It has not revealed who leaked it to the press.

Sterling was caught telling girlfriend V. Stiviano a few weeks ago that it “bothers” him “a lot” that she wants to “broadcast that you’re associating with black people.”

The Los Angeles Clippers owner has since been banned from the league for life and owners will soon vote on whether or not he must sell the team.

V. Stiviano, the 31-year old woman whose recordings officially exposed Donald Sterling as a huge racist, is under investigation by the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office.

Authorities are looking into whether or not Stiviano tried to extort the Los Angeles Clippers owner by asking for money in exchange for not releasing any more damaging tapes.

According to KABC, the blackmail assertion was brought to the DA by someone associated with Sterling.

In late April, a pair of audio tapes hit the Internet.

In one, Sterling berates Stiviano (his personal assistant and likely lover) for hanging out with African-Americans in public; in the other, he sounds like a slave owner in bragging about how he puts food on the plates of his black employees.

Adam Silver just announced in a NYC press conference that he has banned Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling from all NBA-related activities for life.

He's also fined the 80-year old real estate mogul $2.5 million, an amount that will be donated to various charities.

Silver told reporters that a forensic review of the V. Stiviano audio recording of Sterling being all kinds of racist discovered no evidence it was altered in any way.

The Commissioner added that he spoke with Sterling in the past couple days and referred to his views as "offensive and harmful."

Sterling also admitted to his voice being on the tape.

In the wake of Donald Sterling's horribly offensive comments about minorities, a number of high-profile companies have pulled their sponsorship of his professional basketball team.

Red Bull, State Farm, CarMax, AQUAhydrate, Kia and Virgin America all announced today that they are at the very least suspending all affiliation with the Los Angeles Clippers.

That's what happens when you berate your girlfriend for interacting with African-Americans and when you condescendingly way you put food on the plates of black players.

"We trust and respect the NBA’s process to formally investigate the matter, and in the interim, are suspending all team-related marketing activities,” Red Bull said in a statement. "We will continue to support our Red Bull athlete, Blake Griffin, his teammates and coaching staff in their pursuit of an NBA title."

Donald Sterling has issued a statement in response to the leaked audio tape that makes him sound like a horrible, horrible racist.

The recording is of Sterling - the owner of the Los Angeles Clippers - berating his girlfriend of appearing in public with African-Americans, referring to her as "stupid" for thinking skin color doesn't matter.

"It bothers me a lot that you want to broadcast that you’re associating with black people," Sterling says to V. Stiviano at one point in the nine-minute tape.

As a rebuttal, Sterling and the Clippers organization say via statement: "We have heard the tape on TMZ.  We do not know if it is legitimate or it has been altered."

The statement goes on to paint Stiviano in a negative light.

Good news, Cliven Bundy: you have some racist company in the world.

Donald Sterling - owner of the Los Angeles Clippers - has been caught on tape in an argument with his girlfriend, going off on her for posting an Instagram photo of Magic Johnson... and for being seen with black people in public in general.

It's truly galling stuff:

Along with telling his girlfriend that she's "stupid" for thinking skin color doesn't matter, Sterling has also been caught making the following statements:
