Dmitry Chaplin is a new professional on Dancing with the Stars. He debuted on the show during season eight and was parterned with Jewel for his first run on the show.
A Russia-native, Chaplin is an International Latin dancer. He's best known for achieving a Top 10 finish on season two of So You Think You Can Dance. The ladies loved him for often taking his shirt off during performances.
Chaplin partnered with Heidi Groskreutz and was a national finalist in US National Amateur Dancesport Championships in 2006. His dancing coach since 2004? Louis van Amstel, who was partnered with actress Lisa Rinna on an earlier season of Dancing with the Stars.
This dancer Chaplin was born in Rostov-on-Don, Russia.
