After stating a couple weeks ago that she was finally moving on from @Mrskutcher - we don't need to explain why, do we? - the actress debuted the chosen moniker yesterday.

"So hard finding a name that was fun somewhat playful and available," Moore wrote. "So for now it will be @justdemi It could grow on me! Thanks everyone for your help in finding my new name!"

The person behind Demi's need to change the handle, meanwhile, finds himself in trouble these days.

Thanks to this Ashton Kutcher Popchips ad, Moore's ex-husband is facing accusations of racism. And thanks to his role on Two and a Half Men, further allegations of not being remotely funny.

The actress made her first public appearance since exiting rehab last night - attending a private residence party in Beverly Hills to celebrate the launch of friend Amanda de Cadenet's TV show, The Conversation - and also made a request of followers on Twitter:

Moore, of course, has been going by @Mrskutcher for years, sticking with the handle long after her divorce from Ashton Kutcher was finalized.

For the first time in three months, Demi Moore has made a Twitter entry, snapping the following self-portrait and sending it to her 4.9 million followers.

It's the first public statement of any kind the actress has made since she returned to Los Angeles, following a stint in rehab, in early March. With arms outstretched and camera held aloft, it's almost as if she's telling the world: Look at me now! I have the strength to hold up through anything!

Moore, of course, still uses the Twitter handle @mrskutcher. She said in November that changing it is not a "top priority right now." But do you think she should do so?

Rumors of Ashton Kutcher and Rihanna hooking up apparently didn't sit well with ex-wife Demi Moore, who was "sick to her stomach" and "devastated."

Grazia magazine quotes a source as saying, "Demi is constantly keeping tabs on Ashton. When these pics came up she was understandably crushed."

"Demi's convinced something happened between them and felt sick.'"

The publication also cites a source saying that the alleged relationship between Rih and Ash - which was a one-night stand, if that - "sent Demi spiraling."

This comes just weeks after Moore checked out of rehab, though.

Another source tells Closer magazine, which not only exists, but features Octomom nude on its new cover: "Demi can't believe Ashton would do this."

"She's really hurt by the recent rumors and feels humiliated he's being linked to other celebrities just a few weeks after she got out of rehab."

"She feels it cheapens their marriage even further."

His marriage may not have worked out, but Ashton Kutcher may not be a complete jackass. He's reached out to his estranged wife since she left her nearly month-long stint in rehab last week and the the duo has been in close contact.

Demi quietly and briefly returned to her Beverly Hills home, spending just a few days in L.A. before embarking on a recuperative vacation to Turks and Caicos.

During that window, she received a visit from Kutcher.

"He came to her house to see her for about an hour and a half," a source told E! News.

The couple is getting along well, although they're showing no signs that they'll be back to any romantic habits. A source says that a reconciliation is unlikely.

But that doesn't mean Ashton may not drop by again.

Kutcher remains on friendly terms with his ex, and is "determined to build upon that," however, her daughters are "no longer close" to their former stepdad.

Must not be Two and a Half Men fans. Shocking.

The reports are true: Demi Moore is out of rehab and now safely back in Los Angeles.

TMZ was the first site to post a photo of the actress touching down in California yesterday, as she was spotted exiting a plan, donning a white top and shorts and looking healthier than she has in weeks.

The actress left rehab in Utah last week and reportedly took off with close friend Eric Buterbaugh for Parrot Cay in Turks and Caicos.

It's unclear what the future holds for Moore, both personally and professionally, as she dropped out of a Linda Lovelace biopic shortly after being rushed to the hospital on January 23.

"She knows she's in a bad place and needs help," a source told Us Weekly at the time. "She needed something serious to get her back on track."

Demi Moore has checked out of Cirque Lodge in Utah and has embarked on a private vacation, sources tell E! News.

The actress checked into this famous rehab facility not long after suffering a seizure on January 23 that was brought on by the ingestion of a foreign substance. (Listen to the 911 call placed on her behalf now.)

What is the actress up to now? Not much.

"She's in no rush to get back to L.A.," says an insider who reports the star is "on vacation" and adds: "She's on total lockdown and only talking to a small group of people."

There's still no official word on why Moore was seeking help, but E! moles confirm the time away was spent working on addiction issues and an eating disorder. We sincerely hope it helped.

According to an E! News insider, the troubled actress - who was rushed to the hospital on January 23 for "smoking something," based on the 911 call placed on her behalf - has checked in to Cirque Lodge, an expensive treatment facility in Sundance, Utah.

"She's on total lockdown and only talking to a small group of people," the source says, adding that the actress is being treated for an eating disorder and addiction issues.

Moore had reportedly been consulting with her spiritual adviser and, some claimed, even a psychic before making this decision.

Cirque Lodge, meanwhile, is known as a posh facility whose resume of famous clientele includes Lindsay Lohan, Eva Mendes and Mary-Kate Olsen.

Bruce Willis and Demi Moore are unlike most former spouses. They vacation together, they hang out with their ex's new significant others. They're especially close.

So it comes as no real surprise that a source tells People the actor was privy to the actress' troubles many months ago, before she even split from Ashton Kutcher, and tried to convince Demi to do something about them.

"He was worried about her and wanted her to get better," the insider tells the magazine. "Many of her friends did the same thing, but she just wouldn't listen."

Willis and Moore have three daughters today, two of which (Rumer and Tallulah) are reportedly crashing with their father while their mother figures out her next step.

Meanwhile, multiple outlets report that both Willis and Kutcher made appearance at Moore's Los Angeles home Wednesday yesterday in order to check up on their ex-wife. Let's all hope this kind of support system helps Moore realize just how much she's truly loved.

Yes, Demi Moore was rushed to the hospital last week, but multiple sources now report that the star's problems have been obvious to friends for a long time now.

According to the latest issue of Us Weekly, friends have been concerned for months over Moore's drug use and self-destructive behavior, most of which stemmed from Ashton Kucher's public affair with Sara Leal.

"She's been really down, and she's surrounding herself with young people to make her feel better," said an insider, adding that Demi has been intent on staying as thin as possible for years. "She's been mixing pills and Red Bulls, among other things."

It's been this desire to remain young, sources claim, that's led to Demi hanging out so often with daughter Rumer Willis... and which also allegedly led to an incident in L.A.'s Venice neighborhood a few weeks back when she set her sights on Zac Efron.

She "tracked down" the former High School Musical star at a shindig, supposedly, and "seemed out of her mind at this party," an onlooker says.

Efron, of course, is 24. He was two years old when Ghost came out.
