Deadmau5 is being taken to court by a much bigger cartoon mau5.

Disney is apparently ready to challenge him in court after the conglomerate determined that the DJ's logo is too similar to its (trademarked) Mickey Mouse ears.

We can't decide if we're shocked at this news or shocked that it's taken them this long to file, but either way, the electronic music star is vowing to fight it out.

"Landed home to some interesting news," he tweeted this week. "Looks like Disney officially just filed in opposition of my trademark … lawyer up Mickey."

"Disney thinks you might confuse an established electronic musician/performer with a cartoon mouse," he went on. "That's how stupid they think you are."

Deadmau5 (pronounced "dead mouse"), real name Joel Zimmerman, uses oversized headpieces with rounded ears, while doing his thing live around the world.

In a statement to E! News, Deadmau5 attorney Dina LaPolt further elaborated on the matter, claiming he has his own likeness trademarked, thankyouverymuch:

Justin Bieber was involved in some kind of night club altercation late last week.

Initially, reports claimed the singer actually attacked a DJ in South Korea because he wasn't a fan of the music that man was spinning, but now it appears as if only heated words were exchanged between the pair.

Soon after hearing that something went down, though, Deadmau5 took to Twitter and made his take on the young artist very clear.

“Dear @justinbieber, would you please grow the f*ck up already? In the meantime, put a shirt on, and stay away from nightclubs,” Deadmau5 wrote.

Lady Gaga has urged her Little Monsters to stop sending threats, using foul language and provoking others with hate online in the singer's name.

Her message, expressed in a blog post, comes amid the ongoing feud between Gaga and her former friend, celebrity gossip blogger Perez Hilton.

After she accused Perez of stalking her, fans told Hilton, who had become a vocal Gaga critic prior to that, to kill himself, to die of AIDS and so on.

Deranged Gaga fans also threatened Deadmau5 after he publicly criticized the Lady Gaga nude video made with performance artist Marina Abramovic.

Former LA Ink star Kat Von D and DJ fiance Deadmau5 appear to have called it quits, at least from what we can tell from her obligatory cryptic Tweets.

"Man, I'm a fool," she writes. "Cheating on your loved one is the most hurtful thing one could do. I hate to have to admit, that this relationship is indeed over."

Looks like the Mau5 stepped out while the Kat was away! Sorry.

"Onwards and upwards," she added, replying "never" to a Twitter fan whoadvised her, "Don't take him back no matter what. Ur worth more than that."

A rep for Deadmau5 said "I have no further information beyond what's on Twitter." The rep did add that a Tweet from the DJ earlier was not about Kat:

Guess this game of Kat and Mau5 wasn't meant to be.

On the heels of the Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez breakup, reality star Kat Von D has split with electronic music titan Deadmau5, according to reports.

The tattoo artist, best known for her 79 engagements and splits with Jesse James, took to Twitter (obviously) to announce that she and Deadmau5 broke up.

"Man... Can't say I didn't give it my best," she wrote, noting, "Man, I sure was wrong. But at least he made it a no-brainer to break that off. #lessonlearned."

Deadmau5. Kat Von D. We can definitely see it.

The apparent couple was spotted for the first time on a date yesterday in L.A., holding hands for the cameras. Later, he gushed over her on social media.

Ah, 21st Century, heavily tattooed love.

"Yeah, im [in] love," tweeted the popular and outspoken DJ. "inb4 I find a f**k to give over the Internet implodes over it ;) at least I'm happy! Lol"

He posted another tweet after hanging with Kat, writing "aw man... i just had a f**kin awesome day and it's not even over yet. :D feelsgoodman."

Good to hear man. Good to hear. Feelin' good is key.

Kat Von D, who was engaged to Jesse James (twice) before accusing him of cheating on her prolifically, still has a tattoo of his face on her body.

She hasn't commented on her new man/mau5 yet.

It's not quite a Chris Brown and Chrissy Teigen-level feud, but Pauly D and Deadmau5 have been engaged in a bit of a Twitter beef of their own this week.

$h!t got so real after Deadmau5 said earlier this week that the Jersey Shore star was a hack and basically has zero talent when it comes to DJing.

Pauly D's response? The Tweet and photo below:

No word on whether Deadmau5, who also got into it with Madonna recently, truly thinks that 4x4=12, or if Neil Diamond is planning a Twitter offensive of his own after being inadvertently dragged into this war of words.

In any case, the beat goes on. And it sounds like nnts nnts nnts nnts ....

Madonna has made peace with Deadmau5 after a comment she made at the Ultra Music Festival in Miami led to him launching a tirade against her on Twitter.

The DJ, real name is Joel Zimmerman, took issue with Madge asking "How many people in this crowd have seen Molly," believing she was advocating drug use.

Molly is a slang term for MDMA, or ecstasy, and with Madonna's new album titled MDNA, the electro music star assumed she meant that. And he was PISSED.

"Quite a f'n philanthropist. But hey, at least yer HIP AND TRENDY! F***ing cant smack my head hard enough right now," Deadmau5 railed against Madonna.

"That's your big contribution to EDM? Thats your big message to ultra attendies? Hipsterspeak for looking for drugs? F**k off you f***ing IDIOT. F**k."

"Seriously, I giveth not a f**king single F**K for slating on Madonna ... i appreciate her meteoric career and good deeds done, but WHAT THE F**K WAS THAT?"

In response, Madonna she posted a picture of herself in Minnie Mouse, writing: "From one mouse to another, I don't support drug use and I never have."

"I was referring to the song 'Have You Seen Molly?', written by my friend Cedric Gervais who I almost worked with on my new album."

Open mouth, insert foot, Mau5.

Madonna has come under attack from Deadmau5, one of the world's most famous DJs, for glamorizing ecstasy use, allegedly, during a recent concert.

Her Madgesty took the stage at the Ultra Music Festival in Miami this weekend, asking crowd, "How many people in this crowd have seen molly?"

"Molly" is a slang term for MDMA, one of the key ingredients in ecstasy, a drug hugely popular within the electronic dance music community.

Incidentally (or not) Madonna's new album, which drops today, is called MDNA. Watch her address the crowd at the 45-second mark below:

The crowd apparently loved the veiled inquiry from Madonna, but Deadmau5 is not a fan at all, going on Facebook and tearing her a new one.

"Very classy there madonna. 'HUR DUR HAS ANYONE SEEN MOLLY???' such a great message for the young music lovers at ultra," he wrote.

The Mau5 added, "Quite the f'n philanthropist. but hey, at least yer HIP AND TRENDY! f*cking cant smack my head hard enough right now."

Bottom line: Mind-altering drugs are not cool, ravers. So says a man-mau5 whose fan base is probably on them 97 percent of the time.
