Barbara Walters' 10 Most Fascinating People of 2012 special aired last night, and the #1 most fascinating of the electic mix of individuals was revealed at last:
David Petraeus!
The special highlighted the achievements and antics of those that kept us enthralled for the past 12 months, from Ben Affleck to Gabby Douglas to Honey Boo Boo.
But it was Petraeus, the decorated U.S. military hero now disgraced by an affair that forced his resignation as director of the CIA, who took the top prize.
Jill Kelley, the Tampa socialite whose name is now synonymous with the David Patraeus scandal, is allegedly penning a book telling her side of the story.
Friends of Kelley told the New York Post that Kelley is shopping around a tell all book to publishers as her form of payback.
Kelley feels publicly humiliated after details of her personal life were leaked after she informed an FBI agent that she was receiving threatening letters from Paula Broadwell.
Broadwell is the infamous mistress of ex CIA head David Petraeus.
Holly Petraeus, David Petraeus' wife, is reportedly incensed that the now-former CIA Director cheated on her with Paula Broadwell after 37 years of marriage.
To say she's furious would be an understatement, his former spokesman says.
Holly has not commented on Petraeus' resignation from the CIA, but former spokesman and family friend Ret. U.S. Army Col. Steve Boylan revealed what she's feeling.
"As you can imagine, she's not exactly pleased right now," Boylan told GMA, revealing that Petraeus told him that Holly was irate over the situation.
