Quite the Thanksgiving weekend for the Hoff and his former wife.

David Hasselhoff is under involuntary psychiatric hold at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in L.A. after suffering a seizure apparently spurred by a days-long bender.

David Hasselhoff as Hitler

Post-seizure, Hoff was hospitalized on Friday and placed on psychiatric hold under the California Welfare Institutions Code 5150, a.k.a. the Britney Spears hold.

This is only reserved for subjects considered to be a danger to themselves or others. In other words, it's not easy to pull on someone and it's not taken lightly.

Hoff will be held up to 72 hours and will undergo psychiatric observation.

The incident marks the latest slip in Hasselhoff's long battle with alcohol. There are many recent examples, such as him being bombed at the EMAs this month.

Pamela Bach didn't want David Hasselhoff to have all the fun.

David Hasslehoff's alcohol problems are well documented, but meanwhile, his ex-wife, Pamela Bach, had her own issues last night - she was arrested for DUI.

According to law enforcement sources, Bach took a breathalyzer test and blew a .14 and a .13. The limit is .08. She was taken in, booked and released.

"I am remorseful and mortified," Pamela said later, adding that the Hoff's most recent meltdown played a role in her DUI. "I am going through a really difficult time between David being in the hospital and dealing with the divorce."

Bach added that she was trying to comfort her daughters earlier in the evening, then went to dinner where she had a few drinks. A few, or like 6-7.

She is free on $15,000 bail and said she will attend an AA meeting today. Pamela is due in court on Christmas Eve. Hoff is still under the 5150.

Looks like there will be plenty of material for his new reality show.

If it wasn't already clear that David Hasselhoff had fallen off the wagon, his speech at the European Music Awards in Germany November 5 ought to prove it.

Sure, he's not seen taking shots on camera, but from the slurring of his speech and some of the nonsense he spewed, you have to think the guy is tanked.

According to reports, Hoff was drunk in a Canadian casino last weekend and had to be escorted away after getting into an argument with an elderly patron.

He was also hammered and hospitalized at home in September. Guy could use help. Check out the funny/sad video of David Hasselhoff drunk this week ...

A reality TV show featuring ... David Hasselhoff?

One only about David Hasselhoff and what a wreck he is? Sure, it would be better if Jon Gosselin and Michael Lohan somehow joined him, but hey, sign us up!

A few weeks ago, David's daughter Twittered (and later deleted) what we thought was confirmation that her train wreck dad would be putting his life on the air.

Well, no air date has been set yet, but the Hoff project appears to be close, or at least under consideration, according to an A&E rep, who said: "We are in discussions about the possibility of a series, but nothing official at this time."

AMERICA'S GOT HOFF: David's disaster of a life might be coming to A&E!

Hoff's teenagers, Hayley and Taylor, no strangers to his candid, drunk antics, are also expected to appear in what is being billed as a poor man's Leave it to Lamas.

Just kidding. No one's billing it as that - but you believed it, right?

Not surprisingly, his ex-wife Pamela Bach will not be appearing in the show. We hope she coincidentally leaks a poor woman's Shauna Sand sex tape instead.

In closing, it's critical that you remember the following lesson:

If we've learned one thing in a life of celebrity gossip, it's that you don't hassle the Hoff. Unless he willingly puts himself on reality TV. Then he's fair game.

Troubled actor and America's Got Talent host David Hasselhoff was taken to the hospital Sunday after his daughter reported he had been drinking to excess.

According to TMZ, 17-year-old Hayley Hasselhoff, who was at home with David, called her mother Pamela, claiming that her father was extremely drunk.

A friend of Pamela - who is estranged from David - called 911, paramedics arrived at the family's home in Encino, Calif., and took the Hoff to the hospital.

If our math is right, this would be the 14th time that Hasselhoff has been hospitalized for excessive consumption of alcohol. Dude's gotta get it together.

The Hoff, being filmed during one of his 2007 relapses.

The hospital was supposed to release David later Sunday night. No word yet on whether it did, or if he remains under their care for whatever reason.

The Hoff's reps have yet to comment on his apparent latest relapse, either.

Troubled actor David Hasselhoff has indeed been hospitalized, as first reported by the National Enquirer, his representative confirms.

Judy Katz says the Hoff, a struggling alcoholic, had a relapse and is in the hospital, but fine.

In an exclusive statement, Katz told celebrity news site TMZ that: "David Hasselhoff had a brief relapse, and immediately recognized the importance of addressing it with the assistance of his doctors. He is fine and will be back home in the morning."

By our calculations, this is the 14th time he's been hospitalized for alcohol abuse.

But at least David Hasselhoff has the joyous news of his former Baywatch co-star Pamela Anderson's marriage to Rick Salomon to comfort him at this time.

As for how this will affect his custody case, that remains to be seen. Sources say his children had been in ex-wife Pamela Bach's care for the last six weeks as he's been out of the country in Romania shooting "Anaconda 3" - an instant classic.

A mediation is scheduled for Thursday. David Hasselhoff was last seen in public Thursday night, outside of Koi with one of his daughters.

Let this be a lesson to all of those celebrities who get out of rehab. Do not immediately begin drinking again. Especially wearing no pants.

It was a disturbing scene.

Pamela Bach-Hasselhoff was alone in her bedroom watching TV when she first saw the now-infamous video footage - shot by her eldest daughter, Taylor-Ann - of her ex-husband, David Hasselhoff, 54, on the floor.

Kym Johnson and David Hasselhoff

Shirtless. Eating a hamburger.

Having been married to the recovering alcoholic for 16 years (they divorced in July 2006), the tape only added fuel to an already explosive custody battle - one that's only slightly less heated than the fight between Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger.

The 42-year-old actress reveals to Us Weekly how she and daughters, Hayley, 14, and Taylor-Ann, 17, have coped with the former Baywatch star and America's Got Talent host's woes.

What did you feel when you saw the tape?
"So many emotions. I'm thinking of protecting my family, and who released this?"

"And I'm thinking that Taylor-Ann is so calm, because she's been raised around it. And I thought, How come I didn't know he was drunk?"

THG NOTE: Hasselhoff says he asked to be filmed while drunk so he could experience the intensity of his problems and get help.

When was the first time you saw him drunk?
"The first time I saw [David Hasselhoff] wasted was our second date at his house. I thought, wow, he drank a little bit too much and too fast. He was my best friend, and I was lucky to marry the love of my life. But over time, the disease eroded the relationship."

THG NOTE: Britney Spears knows all about what it's like to drink a little too much and too fast. And what it feels like to go bald.

Do they still want to see their father?
"Absolutely. They absolutely love their father. They just want him to get better. He's been through three rehabs - in 2001, 2002, and 2004. He has been to the emergency room at least 12 to 13 times at Cedars-Sinai - under aliases - for alcohol poisoning. ["Not true," Melvin Goldsman, Hasselhoff's attorney says.] His disease is very extreme."

David Hasselhoff asked to be videotaped while intoxicated so he could see what he's like when he's drunk, according to Extra.

The show obtained footage of Hasselhoff, 54, sitting shirtless on the floor of a Las Vegas hotel room (see below). Off-camera, Extra says, a family member pleads with him to stop drinking and says:

Kym Johnson and David Hasselhoff

"The doctor is coming over here in the morning to check your alcohol level. If you have any alcohol in your system, you are going to be fired from [The Producers]."

Hasselhoff's lawyers said he requested that the video be taken. Pamela Anderson's former Baywatch co-star tells People in a statement that he needed to see himself at his worst:

"I am a recovering alcoholic."

"Despite [the fact] that I have been going through a painful divorce and have recently been separated from my children due to my work, I have been successfully dealing with my issues. Unfortunately, one evening I did have a brief relapse, but part of recovery is relapse."

"Because of my honest and positive relationship with my daughters, who were concerned for my well being, there was a tape made that night to show me what I was like. I have seen the tape. I have learned from it and I am back on my game. I thank God for the love and concern from my daughters. The tape was never meant to become public, but appears to have been obtained and released by my ex-wife. I hope that someone else will learn from the tape, as I have."

A rep for Debra Opri, the lawyer representing Hasselhoff's ex-wife, Pamela Bach, said in a statement Thursday:

"Pamela Bach and her attorney Debra Opri were not the ones who disseminated the tape [to the media]. Both Pamela and her attorney have not seen the tape, and Pam has no desire to."

In the video, Extra reports, Hasselhoff is asked why he continues to imbibe harder than Tara Conner, and he says: "Cause I'm lonely. I have trouble in my life." The family member responds, "You have me." Hasselhoff replies:

"I don't have you in my life. Bulls----. I don't have you." Says the family member: "You are throwing your life away. It is stupid."

Hasselhoff filed for divorce from Bach in January 2006:

Bach filed her own divorce paperwork the following day, which included claims of domestic violence. The two have been locked in an acrimonious battle over finances and custody of their two daughters, Taylor-Ann, 16, and Hayley, 13, one of whom reportedly attempted suicide in September.

In an episode of Access Hollywood airing Thursday, Bach, 44, tells the show that she doesn't trust the troubled star with their daughters, saying: "I don't trust that he can hold his disease at bay to not take that drink."

Someone ought to film Britney Spears the next time she gets faded.

David Hasselhoff, for his part, said to Access Hollywood:

"I have respect of my children and my fans, but most importantly my self respect. I will continue to keep my personal life private for the sake of moving on and living a happy life with my daughters."

A rep for Hasselhoff, who's been letting himself go for the better part of a year, did not immediately return calls for comment; his attorneys had no comment.

No, it's not a battle of which washed up star looks better in black. Although that would be an understandable interpretation.

Instead, the photo seen here depicts WWE star, Hulk Hogan, facing off with Baywatch hunk and occasional nut job, David Hasselhoff.

A Disgraced Wrestler

The Hoff somehow won Comeback of the Year at the VH-1 Big in '06 Awards, while the Hulkster was showing support for daughter Brooke Hogan. The cheap, bad singer performed at the event.

The Hollywood Gossip would've given the Big Comeback award to Shar Jackson - come on, who could've predicted she'd find her way back into the news?

But we'll have to wait until we have a TV network before we can hand out any hardware.

David Hasselhoff has pulled out of co-presenting the MTV European Video Music Awards after claiming the show's producers had no taste.

This from a man who used to talk to his car.

David Hasselhoff and Kym Johnson Photo

The 1980s style icon was due to present the awards with Justin Timberlake on November 2nd in Copenhagen, but the Sunday Mirror claims the Hoff balked once he saw the night's script.

Apparently the 54-year-old, who recently climbed the UK chart with "Jump in My Car," was not prepared to deliver such set-pieces as ripping off his co-presenters shirt and remarking "you need to get some more chest hairs like me."

Another planned scene involved the girlfriend of Cameroz Diaz wondering where Hasselhoff had gone, only for the camera to pan out to a Jacuzzi offstage where the Baywatch actor was entertaining some ladies with champagne.

"It was all tongue-in-cheek stuff, but Mr Hasselhoff didn't find it funny," an MTV source said. "He told them he's a massive star in Europe - and doesn't want to be made fun of. MTV had spent a month on the scripts and are gutted the Hoff pulled out at the last minute."

So are we. But we can at least take solace in these Kristin Cavallari pictures.

We never thought we'd say this, but: it's not a great time to be David Hasselhoff.

First, reports surfaced that the former Knight Rider and Baywatch star made up his daughter's suicide attempt. Now, it's becoming apparent that he may have imagined the crush Princess Di had on him years ago.

David Hasselhoff, Hayley Roberts

The butler for the late Princess of Wales seems to think so.

A couple weeks ago, Hasselhoff said in London that Diana "was smitten with me since I was so tall ... I probably would have gone after her if circumstances had been different."

Like, if she hadn't been a princess and you hadn't been a washed up 1980s TV star?

According to Paul Burrell, Di's former butler, however, Hasselhoff's talking complete and utter rubbish. Just like Nicole Richie every time she says she's healthy.

"There was never ever any hint of any date or romance between the two of them," said Burrell. "Such a suggestion is as far-fetched as a talking car called K.I.T.T."

Wow. Who knew butler's could be so witty?

Burrell stated that the young princes, William and Harry, were fans of Baywatch and that the Hoff sent them some autographed stuff from the show â€" including a picture of him in all his hairy-chested glory.

When Diana saw the photo, said Burrell, "I remember the princess laughing hysterically at the photo and turning her nose up."

Sorry, Hoff. If it makes you feel any better, we have the same reaction every time we look at a Kevin Federline picture.
