Long before anyone cared about Vanessa Hudgens nude pictures, critics were shocked that Daniel Radcliffe would bare it all in the play Equus.

In a recent interview with the Associated Press, though, the Harry Potter star says nudity is no big deal for him anymore. We hope Eva Longoria soon takes the same attitude.

AP: So what's all this about you doing Equus on Broadway?
Radcliffe: Yeah, absolutely, hopefully. It's not absolutely certain yet, as nothing ever is, but yeah, that's definitely the plan. I'll be starting Harry Potter 6 and then that will go to the year 2040, and then after a few months â€" there's probably going to be a few months' gap in between that â€" and then Equus on Broadway. It should start late next year.

AP: Is it cold on that stage?
Radcliffe: (Smiles) Yes, it's very well air-conditioned.

AP: There's shrinkage?
Radcliffe: (Smiles again) There is an element of retraction, certainly.

AP: After the first time, I'm guessing, you get over this a bit.
Radcliffe: Oh yeah, you don't care. I don't care â€" I've done it 128 times [or the same number of times Britney Spears crotch shots have popped up].

AP: But everybody else cared and everybody else freaked out when you first got naked.
Radcliffe: It was hilarious.

AP: Why is that, do you think?
Radcliffe: 'Cause, I don't know, maybe they want me to be Peter Pan and stay young forever, some people.

AP: And tabloids have fun with puns, of course.
Radcliffe: They want puns, yeah, you can have lots of fun with them.

Let's try one now: Daniel Radcliffe? More like Daniel Naked-cliffe!

Daniel Radcliffe Picture It's no Harry Potter spoiler to say that everyone's favorite boy wizard might die in the story's final installment.

Even if he does perish at the hands of Lord Voldemort, however, the actor that portrays Harry will live on. Below, we've excerpted part of an interview Daniel Radcliffe gave to Details magazine on this and other topics:

On why he doesn't generally date coworkers:
"I think it would be very hard to go out with an actress, because they're mad. Some actresses are just insane. I've never worked with a nasty actress - they're all absolutely delightful. But completely barking."

On media reaction to him as a young adult:
"It's not so much that they don't want me to grow up. It's that they're annoyed that I'm growing up adjusted. They'd much rather I was growing up and going wild and crashing cars."

* The Hollywood Gossip note: No way he's referring to Lindsay Lohan, is there?

On the nude scene in his recent play, Equus:
"I'd be lying if I said I was completely fine. I was nervous and I was a little bit worried. But not meaning to drop a name, I talked to Gary Oldman about it, because we get on very well and I know he's been naked onstage. And so I said to him, 'What's it like?' and he said, 'On the first night you'll be terrified and on the second night you'll be terrified and after that you won't care.' And that's absolutely true. When you've done it twice, it doesn't matter anymore."

* The Hollywood Gossip note: And when you've done it two hundred times, it also doesn't matter anymore. Right, Katie Price nude?

On if...err....his "wand" became an issue:
"It's the least arousing process... Jo's [his co-star] beautiful, but after you've gone through it a hundred times with an audience there... To be honest, when you get naked in front of 900 people, quite the opposite happens. Not to become too graphic, but yeah."

On staying grounded:
"Even when I was very young and before any of this had happened, I remember being repulsed by ostentatious displays of wealth...People who have car collections - I never understood that. I always thought that was unnecessary. It's not beautiful, it's not creative. It's just showing how much money you've got."

On the upcoming end to the Harry Potter series:
"I'm the only kid in the world who doesn't want an eighth Harry Potter book."

We wonder if that's actually true. We should ask Suri Cruise and get back to you.

Harry Potter doesn't wish to hang out only with horses.

As actor Daniel Radcliffe is growing up, female fans are taking notice. And the teenager is thrilled about it.

"Somebody said to me the other day, 'Do you ever worry that girls are just giving you attention because of who you are?' " Radcliffe tells Britain's The Observer magazine. "I was like, 'I'm 17, I don't care! It's wonderful!' "

When he turns 18 in July, Radcliffe will have access to a fortune estimated by the magazine at around $35 million â€" so he knows he has to be wary of friends who begin to treat him like Paris Hilton a cash cow.

"Obviously you have to watch a bit," he says, "and I'm sure there will be a lot of girls â€" well, I hope there will be a lot of girls who are just trying to get stories!"

Female fans have been pursuing the actor since before he hit puberty: When he was promoting the first Harry Potter film in America, one girl surprised him by doing her Kim Kardashian impression, wearing nothing but a towel.

"I was about 11 when that happened. I didn't know what to do with myself. I was just discovering what everything was!" he says. "That was really cool actually. I wish that would happen again. As I remember, she was very attractive. I'd be up for something now!"

Wow. Radcliffe sounds more desperate for booty than Lindsay Lohan aftr 24 hours with her underwear on.

Meanwhile, ehat does Harry Potter creator JK Rowling think about Daniel's racy London play?

"She's coming to see it!" he says. "She's very excited about it, which is great! ... I look forward to hearing what she thinks."

Of course, on July 21, just two days before Radcliffe's 18th birthday, the final Harry Potter book, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, will hit bookstores.

Does he think his character will die in that final chapter?

"I think I will," he says. "I sort of hope I will, really. I think that's really the only way Jo can end it, if Harry and Voldemort ... Maybe one can only die if the other one dies. I don't know that for sure. But I'm quite looking forward to doing a death scene, if I get that opportunity."

Harry Potter may be a bad ass boy wizard, but he's still a youngan. Who can blame him for being taken aback when a hot, topless female looks to have her way with him...

Final Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince

That's right, H-Pot. Hermione Granger (played by Emma Watson) has shown us plenty of things over the course of her adventures with Potter, but her breasts are not among them - though who knows what Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix has in store this summer!

In any case, we have complete faith that in boy Potts (Daniel Radcliffe) to overcome his initial trepidation and get busy with this babe. The kid's a wizard, after all!

And besides, if he has any questions about what to do, all he has to do is download the Keeley Hazell sex tape. That'll teach him some things real quick. (J.K. Rowling? Rolling in grave).

What does a boy wizard do near the end of his magical run?

Make intimate friends with a horse, of course.

Final Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince

Seen here, Daniel Radcliffe is doing just that, but don't get the wrong idea. It's a promo picture for his London stage debut in Equus. It's not a new fetish. That we know of, anyway.

With Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix set to hit screens this summer, the movie's star has been expanding his acting chops in plays.

Meanwhile, fans fear co-star Emma Watson won't be expanding her acting chops at all in the next film adapation of the popular book series.

Author J.K. Rowling hasn't commented on either development yet. But that may be because she's too busy counting all her money.

Evidently, magical powers can only take you so far. They may help Harry Potter escape trouble, but it's another story when it comes to finding a date.

"It's always a worry, yeah," Daniel Radcliffe, 17, told Newsweek in its new issue about girls who want to go out with him simply because he's famous, "but I've got pretty good instincts for people.

Poster for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince

"Normally, the people who are not genuine are the ones who say, 'You know I'm not just being your friend because you're Harry Potter, right?' And it's like, 'Uh, fine, but if that's the case, why do you need to say that?' "

The young actor makes a point. It's one he can share with Zach Braff, as well.

Radcliffe, who is shooting the fifth Harry Potter film, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, will appear next summer in the London stage revival of the Tony-winning drama, Equus. He'll play a troubled young man obsessed with horses â€" and he'll have a nude scene.

Calm down, Nicky Hilton.

"Part of me wants to shake up people's perception of me, just shove me in a blender," he said. "It's a really challenging play, and if I can pull it off â€" we don't know if I can yet â€" I hope people will stop and think, 'Maybe he can do something other than Harry.' "

Radcliffe began playing Potter at age 11, but doesn't look back at his earlier films.

Ultimately, he said: "I would like to look back at them in 10 or 20 years and possibly cringe a little bit. I wasn't an actor when I was 11, really. I was just a kid having the time of his life."

Lindsay Lohan can certainly relate to that.
