Daniel Radcliffe is set to make his hosting debut on Saturday Night Live January 14, NBC has announced. Lana Del Rey will serve as musical guest that week.

With the conclusion of the epic Harry Potter franchise, Radcliffe cemented his status as one of the most talented and original performers of his generation.

He's looking forward to more weighty projects in the future, however (see The Woman in Black trailer) and we have no doubt he'll continue to thrive.

It's safe to say that Daniel Radcliffe has officially graduated from Hogwarts.

The actor will next star in The Woman in Black, which is set for a February 3 premiere date and whose just-released trailer is scarier than any spell Voldemort ever whipped up.

The horror movie is based on a 1983 novel and features Radcliffe as an attorney named Arthur Kipps. Watch below as he visits a home in a remote section of England in order to settle the affairs of its late owner, only to be haunted by a ghost and by the death of children every time the apparition appears. Watch with the lights on, readers...

We've finally identified the woman who has cast a spell on Daniel Radcliffe.

The actor was spotted in New York City on Tuesday, holding the hand of a 22-year old woman we can now confirm is Rosanne Coker, a production assistant the star met in 2007 on the set of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.

In Harry Potter, Daniel Radcliffe uses various spells to thwart Voldemort and the Death Eaters.

While filming this franchise, though, the young actor recently admitted he relied on a different kind of foreign entity: alcohol.

"I became so reliant on alcohol to enjoy stuff," Radcliffe says in the latest issue of GQ UK. "There were a few years there when I was just so enamored with the idea of living some sort of famous person's lifestyle that really isn't suited to me."

Reaching for His Wand

Radcliffe adds that he's lucky the paparazzi never caught him in a compromising, wasted position - and that he's enjoying his new, sober life.

"As much as I would love to be a person that goes to parties and has a couple of drinks and has a nice time, that doesn't work for me. I'm actually enjoying the fact I can have a relationship with my girlfriend where I'm really pleasant and I'm not f--king up totally all the time. There's no shame in enjoying the quiet life. And that's been the realization of the past few years for me."

We're just one week away from the start of the final chapter.

Said Daniel Radcliffe at the event:

“It is a very strange sensation for it to suddenly be drawing to a close... It was emotional, there was a lot of tears were shed... [but] while we will miss it, and we loved it, we are all ready to move on.”

In the wake of a slew of tragic suicides, Ellen DeGeneres was the first celebrity to speak out on the troubling topic of teenage bullying.

But she wasn't the last.

New CW Star

Daniel, Ashley and many other celebrities (watch this video now!) have an important message for teens.

“Learning about the suicide deaths of Tyler Clementi, Seth Walsh, Asher Walker, Billy Lucas and Justin Aaberg has been heartbreaking for me,” Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe said this week. “We have a responsibility to be better to each other, and accept each others’ differences regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, race, ability, or religion and stand up for someone when they’re bullied."

Radcliffe is a major supporter of The Trevor Project, which focuses on at-risk teens.

Below, Ashley Tisdale and fellow members of the Hellcats cast also address the issue. The video is worth watching, and the topic worth doing something about.

So much for those Olive Uniacke rumors.

Despite being romantically linked to that British party girl, the Harry Potter star tells the latest issue of Out that he's single.

"I was in a relationship with somebody for just about three years, and we broke up just shortly before we hit that mark. But [the breakup] was very amicable. At the moment, I’m just being single and running around chasing girls," Radcliffe said, laughing.

Elsewhere in the interview, Radcliffe makes it clear why he's the rare child star unaffected by his early fame. How many people his age in general would have the following, mature viewpoints on gay marriage, politics and Hollywood?

On Nick Clegg, England's the Deputy Prime Minister: I’m a very big fan. I’ve actually met him, and I have to say he’s a really, really good man. I don’t agree with everything he says, but of all the party leaders, he was the one I voted for. I thought he was a great speaker and very charismatic and very statesmanlike.

And I’m glad that he is still in a prominent position in British politics because I think he could make a great contribution. He comes from absolutely the right place in terms of what his values are.

On the growing acceptance of alternative lifestyles: I think that with every generation, people become more open to those ideas and more aware and more educated. But it’s a really, really slow process. If you take any family with parents who are bringing their kids up in a narrow-minded way that includes homophobia, it will take a very profound moment of realization to change those deep-seated views.

On recently visiting Hollywood... for the first time: People seem to have a very bizarre perception of me - that I’m a Hollywood actor. I don’t think of myself that way. And when I was out there and telling people it was pretty much my first trip, jaws just hit the floor. They were looking at me like I had two heads.

Expect to hear a lot more from Radcliffe as he continues publicity for the November 19 release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe didn't celebrate his 21st birthday alone last month.

The actor was spotted out with Olive Uniacke, the stepdaughter of David Heyman, who has produced many of the Harry Potter movies.

Goofy Glasses

According to a source, speaking to London's The Daily Mail: "Olive and Dan have known each other a long time... They were close a few years ago but the relationship fizzled out then. Even so, they have always remained friends. And in the last few months they have grown closer again."

Uniacke, studied at the Gordonstoun school in Scotland, the same institution that educated Prince Charles. Moreover, this 19-year old knows how to party!

"Olive is renowned for holding some of the best house parties, really great bashes," said the insider. "She can be quite wild. She loves to drink champagne, particularly Moet, and she chain-smokes Camel cigarettes. She also loves to go nightclubbing."

This is all terrible news for Ginny Weasley, of course. How can Ron's sister's possibly compete with all that?!?
