I am sorry, the girl cannot sing. Maybe it is that dumb thing in her chin that stops her true voice from coming out. Or, maybe it is those dumb dread locks that keep her voice wound up tight in her head. In any such case, I could see her on the boardwalk collecting money as she sings. I am unsure how she has made it this far, but, it is sad to think the ninth season may go to someone who has no real talent. The only reason people keep voting for her is because the judges like her because they feel sorry for her. Hopefully someone with real talent wins this competition.

man this chick has soul i love watching her perform her voice is so bold and in Ur face i love it it reminds me of the grates in music in good music like janis Joplin and Allan's moistest Amy Winehouse, Donnie Brofiled man she soo down to earth i say i cant wait till she wins cuz i think she has a lot to offer

Folk and Blues wow what a combo. Once in a generation, someone like you comes along. You reach the audience with a sole much deeper than just the music. The last time I felt this strongly about a singer was when I witnessed the feeling of a young and inspiring Janis Joplin at the Monterrey Pop Festival in the 60's.

Dylan said years ago folk rock as crystal that he did what worked for him.He left MN. with guitar and headed south and New York.Crystal left Elliston to Toledo on to Chicago and American Idol. Good Luck

I must say Ms Bowersox steals the show...she is natural at what she does and to me that is so cool. I use to play and sing with my guitar when I was 14-18 yrs old. I am suprised she likes the same kind of music I did when I was young. It makes me happy to see her accomplishing the dream I never did.
