In the next season, AI should announced right from the beginning what they're looking for... janitors, bus drivers, maids, or paint salesmen again, Walmart cashiers etc. Save everybody a lot of bother.

Did everyone miss when she screamed her way through black velvet-yuck.I am all for a big voice but it was screaming.Stopping to thank Simon when he will be there at the results showmif she wanted to do that-totatl a&& kiss.She is good....so there you go but the last 4-5 weeks she has done nothing to speak of..her break outs were in the beginning-my feeling because she thought she had it in the bag.Lee is a good singer too.If I can give her credit as a Lee fan how about you Crystal fans stop bashing Lee.He shouldn't be judged on just last night.He has been fabulous for the last 6 wks so consider the last 6-7 weeks as well-it all counts in the overall picture

I have never really been an Idol fan, but watching Crystal has changed that. I also can't wait until she comes out with her first CD. I also can't wait to see her on tour. Every time I've watched her, and listened to her, I just had to stop whatever I'm doing and listen to her mesmerizing voice. She's beautiful and has a beautiful spirit that shines through in her performances.
Also, one last comment. If you decide to trash someone at least learn how to spell correctly, your ignorance is showing.

It obviously shows that Idol truly does try to find talent all across America though... they literally scraped the bottom of the bin this season. How many times during tryouts did Simon disagree with the other judges?? Almost every one... we should have just let Simon pick the top 12... he actually has the background to make those types of decisions.
I vote for Lee this season, he has progressed the most, takes care of himself, and doesn't talk back to the judges (Bowersox). Also, what is this business with Crystal being homesick? What kind of person has an opportunity like this and TRIES to throw it away? Seacrest had every right to tell the media about how he persuaded Sox to stick with the show. Sounds like she knew she was going to get beat, and wanted to give up.

American Idol is still an excellent show to find future stars - singer/performer/song writer despite all the negative comments and drop of TV’s rating in this season. I would like to see Crystal win. She understands how to deliver a song on her own, has stage presence and once she realizes she deserves good things to happen to her she will grow even more. Lee is okay but on his own usually flops; with back up or a duet, he is better because thing get covered up. Crystal looked like she was leading him through their duet and he did not even have the stage presence to keep his guitar out of his face. He is likeable but he plays the sad puppy dog act too much. It gets old.

Isn't it a bit unfair for Crystal and her fan base to constantly of late mention her baby and diabetes - talk about garnering pity votes. Come on. That's all because she knows she can never win on her own. She would be the most non-marketable Idol ever. Sorry all you Crystal fans. She is talented and she may have been the judges' favorite up until a couple of weeks ago. But that has changed. She is so boring - sounds the same week in and week out. Never changes songs up and NEVER makes them her own. She ought to let Janis Joplin lie in peace and get more current with her music. Wash and change her freakish hair, too. She became full of herself and has developed an attitude that is noticeable on TV. Not to mention she is in it for the money. Not to mention her yellow teeth. Ughh! I will buy everything she records. I love listening to her. She is the best of several performers rolled into one. I love how you can understand every word she sings and the clarity and strength of her singing. My husband, who is not at all impressed by American Idol is very impressed with Crystal. I hope she records for years to come and I believe her music will sell well.

Top 2 or 3 performance of season 9, "Maybe I'm Amazed" by Crystal Bowersox, sabotaged by the judges! Why? Who knows? The difference between Crystal's performances is, "When she sings we feel her pain." When the other contestants sing, "We feel our pain!" Crystal has been very blessed to have gotten this far into the competition and so has Lee. They both have similar styles and come from similar backgrounds. They have sung together as in a duet performance and know each other music abilities.
The judges have given them good critics from time to time, yet I knew when it got down to the last ten who was going to fthe finals. Casey and Michael have very good music abilities as well, even when they sung together in duet I must say they were good.
We all know that Crystal and Lee have always been the judges favs.
I feel that Crystal will win by a few points and Lee wouldnt be too far behind. Whoever does win this it will be a journey never forgotten. All the best for Crystal and Lee may you continue to sing and be grateful that God gave you this experience and to be grateful for this gift to share to the world.
