un-believable, but crystal will out shine lee. how lee wins is still shocking, i learnt his day bew album of a beatiful day is not doing well on the chart, that guy is going to be, just like taylor hicks , i realy do not understand amercians, and their voting system, crystal is a clear winner by miles, and she still is, just wait and see, lee has the title, but crystal has the goods. I cannot wait for her album to relase, just about every-one i knew is waiting to buy her album, then you will see who is doing well on the chart, God bless you girl, stay true to your self.

am from africa, namibia. i was glued to american idol cause of Crystal. the lady got an unique and rare voice. she got the talent and not only did she sing for money and fame but she did sing cause music defined her. you have a long road to go and you doors have openened to a greener pastures. you are the winner in your own way.

I have just watched my recording of the final of American Idol having returned from vacation. Crystal was by far the best and should have won. I will buy her album when it comes out, she will be so successful in her own right. It was so very clear that all the Judges thought she should have been the winner. What the voters were thinking off, I have no idea. Lee was OK but he will not become successful as Crystal - she is so amazing, her voice is incredible, like no other. I wouldn't be surprised if Simon Cowell doesn't sign her up ....... Watch this space - Crystal is about to hit the scene.

I was shocked that Crystal came in second. It seems wrong. I am a certified music teacher. No matter what, she will become a major star. She is SO much better than Lee. Lee is fine but Crystal is GREAT.

I like Lee when he is good, but love Crystal even when she is not singing something that suits her style. Truth be told, if I was offered tickets to a Lee concert I don't think I would bother as he is often out of tune and flat when singing live. Crystal on the other hand would be worth paying to see because not only is she entertaining and relaxing to watch and listen to, but she does not go off key. Looking at a couple of clips yesterday, I also realised one big difference is their presence as people...even though Lee has won, he still seems to present himself as lacking confidence, a little less than in the moment, and lost...Crystal comes across as confident, though not egotistical, and sure of who and what she is.

Nobody but Crystal Bowersox had the enormous interest in them during AI season 9! She not only made the show interesting for the viewers, we became addictive to her performances. People tuned in to get their Crystal Fix. On a couple of occasions when she didn't satisfy you with her performance that week, you had to endured your Crystal withdrawals, and waited another week to get the Crystal Fix. Crystallized! There was only one week I didn't have my addiction satisfied. It's Tuesday and I'm sad, AI season 9 is over and I need my Crystal Fix.

It is a travesty that Crystal did not win... Lee was very pale in comparison and even though I do think Realist is right in their comment, I don't think Lee really had much going for him at all, the whole package was kinda mediocre... But at the end of the day, its record sales that prove who the real winner is and my money is on Crystal! Wish you every success in the world Crystal, you so deserve it!

crystal should no doubt have been the winner of american idol...that is why it is so frustrating watching this show...she clearly is the better singer and did not win..i think the show would be better if the judges could weigh in on the final two and have a voice in the final decision...look what happened last year...adam lambert was clearly the better singer and he did not win either...i am no longer watching this show...lee is good but crystal is in a league of her own with the likes of carrie underwood...that is what seen as well during her duets on the final show with alana morissette, joe cocker, etc. she clearly belongs with the greats...it is a shame she did not win...but it all comes down to trying to get through the telephone lines...i tried and tried to get through but i am sorry to say i was unsuccessful...a large percentage of lee's fans, were most likely the young pre-teen and teen girls who would undoubtedly sit on that telephone line for hours to get through and in the e

The name of the contest isn't Who's the Best Singer, it's American Idol. America looks at the whole package. There are plenty of mediocre singers on the charts because they have other attractions.

Hope Bobby McGee is on that first album. So looking forward to it!
And I also hope she stays true to herself and doesn't let herself be "glammed up" with loads of make-up. Crystal doesn't need tons of artifice. She's a real natural beauty, and that naturalness is all part of her appeal.
