Courtney Robertson is speaking out about her split from Ben Flajnik, blaming the long-distance factor for the end of The Bachelor stars' relationship.

Of course, if you're engaged, don't you typically move in with your fiance?

"Our relationship has been tested pretty much the entire time we’ve been together,” she confides. “When I stayed [with Ben] for long periods of time, it helped."

"I think if we’d lived together, we wouldn’t have broken up.”

Ben Flajnik and Courtney Robertson haven't been heard from for awhile, which is probably a good thing, considering the negative press they got earlier this year.

Even before The Bachelor star proposed to the brunette model during the show's March finale, they were inundated with an avalanche of bad publicity.

Now that it's been five months, it appears the embattled couple is going as strong as ever, and may be finally thinking about their nuptials to boot.

Via Twitter on Friday, Courtney Robertson and Ben Flajnik shared pics of their visit to Baker Beach in San Francisco, Calif., where the couple resides.

Both of them suggested that it'd make a perfect wedding venue.

"Should we get married here? ;) a picture of Courtney and I observing a wedding," Ben posted with a pic of himself, Courtney and his dog Scotch.

Added his model fiancee: "I love this candid photo of my boys playing at Baker Beach this morning! I am in love with this place, first time here."

"I think this would be a fun place for a wedding @BenFlajnik ;)"

Almost as soon as Robertson accepted Flajnik's proposal, the couple said there was no date set and they were taking it slow for the foreseeable future.

That seems to have been a good plan for them, if they're still happy and talking about weddings. What do you think, Bachelor fans? Will it last?

The Bachelor and The Bachelorette spoilers seem to always leak, but the cast members are always on legal lockdown before, during and after the show.

This fact makes it hard to believe recent reports that this year's Bachelor winner, Courtney Robertson, is planning a tell-all book about the experience.

According to In Touch, Ben Flajnik's fiancee wants to "address misconceptions" about her name-calling, top-dropping, man-eating, "winning" ways.

No other Bachelor or Bachelorette cast member has ever gone off the script by airing juicy behind-the-scenes details ... most likely because of iron-clad NDAs.

Just the same, “Courtney has a lot already written,” according to an unnamed source quoted by Wetpaint. “She started when she got home from filming the show."

"It was her way of coping with frustrations over how she was portrayed. Writing was her release ... We all think she should definitely turn it into a book. It will be SO juicy.”

One way to get around the legal obstacles? "Fictionalizing" it.

“She could do it as a memoir - or as a fictional story loosely based on her life. It’s still in the early stages,” says the source of a possible Courtney novel.

Controversial lovebirds Ben Flajnik and Courtney Robertson of The Bachelor fame say they are enjoying what they've come to call "engaged dating."

The way this season went, that's as good as one could hope for, if not better.

"We're still getting to know each other and taking it slow," Flajnik told People at a fashion show in New York. "[Things] are working out really well."

Courtney Robertson agrees, but says she still has a lot to learn about Ben.

"It's nice to see him in social settings and with his family," says the model. "He is always the life of the party. He's got this great personality."

While the duo is looking forward to a summer filled with travel plans and wedding invitations, they won't be rushing down the aisle anytime soon.

"We're not even there yet," Ben Flajnik said. Added his fiance, perhaps the most reviled Bachelor contestant ever, "[We're] just enjoying each other."

Things are going swimmingly, though, save for minor hiccups. She's finding out what they don't have in common: He "hates bananas," she says.

But she has won him over with her favorite drink: "She's got me drinking those things," Ben says of the fermented tea-based beverage kombucha.

If that's their biggest problem now, they could prove a lot of us wrong.

The Bachelor's Ben Flajnik and Courtney Robertson are now a happy and engaged couple, but that doesn't mean cohabitation is in effect. At least not yet.

Us Weekly (who broke the story of Ben kissing random girls, and who Flajnik calls "shady") recently reported that he and Court were shacking up already.

We thought that was probably too soon. Turns it so did they.

A source tells E! News that Robertson "hasn't moved in, but they are spending more time together. She is gradually moving some stuff into his apartment."

"Still, they are content taking it slow at the moment."

Probably for the best. Love 'em or loathe 'em, the two have been through a lot, and need time to figure out if this is even going to work as a relationship.

"She is now back at her L.A. home and they are planning to see each other again next week," the source adds of L.A.-based model Courtney Robertson.

"They are getting along really well, but she's not willing to give up her L.A. home yet."

"It might be soon, though, but they want to just see how it goes and get used to settling into real life and spending a lot of time together first."

The Bachelor stars Ben Flajnik and Courtney Robertson are determined to make this thing work in spite of all the negativity - and they appear to be succeeding.

At least in the immediate aftermath of The Bachelor bloodbath.

Once host-pimp Chris Harrison coughed up and Ben re-issued the $80,000 Neil Lane ring to Courtney on the After The Final Rose special, they turned a corner.

Courtney says that despite the bumps in the road over the last few months, things are progressing nicely and she's nothing but optimistic for the future.

"We try not to pay attention to it," Courtney said this week of the tabloid scrutiny. "I guess positive stories don’t sell, so no one wants to run the truth."

However, it hasn't been all nude photo scandals, cheating rumors and hating. The general public, Court says, has been quite supportive in recent weeks:

“I just spent the weekend with Ben in San Francisco and people kept coming up, offering words of encouragement. So, things seem to be getting better.”

Courtney Robertson reiterated that she believes Ben did not cheat, saying "at the end of the day, if I didn’t trust him, I wouldn’t be with him, period."

“He trusted and believed in the real me. This has been the hardest thing I’ve ever gone through, but I’d do it again in a heartbeat. I found Ben; he made everything worth it.”

The Bachelor star Ben Flajnik is further elaborating on the controversial photos that show him apparently hooking up with other women during his recent split from Courtney Robertson. His explanation? A little dubious, at best.

Of the image that shows him clearly grabbing a female's rear end and kissing her, he says it was an old friend - and just a friendly butt pat, not a full-on, "I am attracted to you in a sexual manner" style arse grab. Mmmyeah.

The curvature of his hand does not suggest patting, but whatever:

"I have not hooked up with another woman - on my father's grave. Those women they mentioned are my friends in San Francisco," Ben Flajnik said on a conference call with reporters after The Bachelor season finale.

"But, Ben, there are photos of you clearly kissing someone and grabbing her rear," People's Monica Rizzo replied, to her credit.

"If you look at the pictures, I'm not kissing her. And that's a butt pat. My friends grab my butt. I'm physical and affectionate with friends - guys and girls," he insisted.

"Maybe you just needed to let your hair down.  [At the time] we were still in a rough place. But I believe he didn't cheat," added Courtney Robertson on the call.

Away from reality TV cameras and free to roam amid additional scrutiny from paparazzi cameras, The Bachelor stars Ben Flajnik and Courtney Robertson are playing the loving couple in the aftermath of their controversial winter on ABC.

Things appear to be going well and relatively uneventfully ... mostly.

Ben, who recently shared his first public pic with Courtney, appears eager to prove the skeptics wrong and show that their relationship is the real deal.

The reality couple put on quite the amorous (and camera ready) display when Ben picked Courtney Robertson up from the San Francisco airport last week.

They acted like lovebirds as they locked lips and cuddled publicly upon being reunited, her Neil Lane diamond ring still firmly on her finger, witnesses say.

However, the pair's PDA will undeniably be met with cynicism by some.

Last week during the After the Final Rose special, Ben Flajnik admitted the negativity surrounding the season caused them to break off their engagement.

While they've since gotten back together, The Bachelor duo was also later seen looking subdued and not exhibiting any affectionate body language.

Are they just going through the motions? Or are they more of a normal pair then we probably think, in spite of everything that played out on television?

The burning question: Will Ben and Courtney last?
