Ali Fedotowsky, the former star of The Bachelorette, looked poised to join the elite club of contestants on the ABC reality franchise to actually tie the knot with her chosen partner ... but it was not to be. She and Roberto Martinez split.

Not that she's sitting at home crying over it.

Ali has a new late night travel show, 1st Look, coming Saturdays on NBC after SNL. In an interview with SheKnows, Ali discussed the program, living the single life, controversial Bachelor winner Courtney Robertson and more ...

"I'm so excited," Fedotowsky said of 1st Look. "It's just the best job that I could possibly imagine. I get to travel all over the country and go to cool places."

When she’s not working, she’s enjoying life in a new city three hours north. After her split from Roberto Martinez, Ali moved from San Diego to L.A.

"I love L.A. I love the weather. I love the interesting things there are to do. And I love my apartment. It's small, and cozy and I'm doing things really girly."

One of her favorite pastimes? Watching The Bachelor with friends.

"I definitely still have Bachelor viewing parties with my girlfriends," said Ali. "I watch in different light now that I've been through it, but I do enjoy watching it still."

Ali revealed that despite the backlash last season’s winner, Courtney Robertson, has received, she found the Santa Monica model to be nice in real life.

That's the debate between The Bachelor's Ben Flajnik and Courtney Robertson, who like to say they're "engaged-dating," regarding where they'll live in the future.

"It goes back and forth, back and forth," he said Saturday in Vegas, where the duo, who got engaged on the March season finale, hosted a party at PURE.

Flajnik lives in San Francisco and Napa but "loves" the Santa Monica area of Los Angeles. Courtney Robertson lives in Santa Monica and "loves" San Francisco.

Something's gotta give eventually, right?

"We most definitely talk about it," the reality star tells People. "We're trying to figure it out, see how it's going to work and when it's going to happen."

"One thing we do really well is communicate. If something's bothering me or bothering her, we try to squash the bug really quick and move on."

Because nothing says "normal couple" like paid appearances in Sin City.

The couple got up close and personal poolside on Saturday as they smooched at the Wet Republic Ultra Pool party, then walked the red carpet that night ...

The pair, who have been plagued with rumors of a split since the March season finale of the reality show, seemed to revel in being the guests of honor for the night.

People were quick to write them off after the way she conducted herself all winter, but by making it a few months already, they've already exceeded expectations.

Controversial lovebirds Ben Flajnik and Courtney Robertson of The Bachelor fame say they are enjoying what they've come to call "engaged dating."

The way this season went, that's as good as one could hope for, if not better.

"We're still getting to know each other and taking it slow," Flajnik told People at a fashion show in New York. "[Things] are working out really well."

Courtney Robertson agrees, but says she still has a lot to learn about Ben.

"It's nice to see him in social settings and with his family," says the model. "He is always the life of the party. He's got this great personality."

While the duo is looking forward to a summer filled with travel plans and wedding invitations, they won't be rushing down the aisle anytime soon.

"We're not even there yet," Ben Flajnik said. Added his fiance, perhaps the most reviled Bachelor contestant ever, "[We're] just enjoying each other."

Things are going swimmingly, though, save for minor hiccups. She's finding out what they don't have in common: He "hates bananas," she says.

But she has won him over with her favorite drink: "She's got me drinking those things," Ben says of the fermented tea-based beverage kombucha.

If that's their biggest problem now, they could prove a lot of us wrong.

It was date night for The Bachelor's Ben Flajnik and Courtney Robertson last night.

The two stepped out in L.A. at Svedka's 2nd Annual Night of a Billion Reality Stars bash with fellow reality fixtures such as Jon Gosselin, Kyle Richards, Ali Fedotowsky, Teresa Giudice, Gretchen Rossi. Like a C-list Who's Who right there.

Clearly, after everything that's gone down, Ben and Courtney were the center of attention. They said that's starting to fade as they settle into normal life, however, and they really couldn't be happier for their 15 minutes to fade away.

"It's getting close," Flajnik said of returning to normalcy after the past year. "Now that the show's over and the star's fading ... [it's] wonderful for us."

"We're getting there," Courtney Robertson added.

Although the couple have an army of skeptics, they say they've learned "lots" about each other since the end of the Bachelor's filming and its aftermath.

"The thing people don't know is that when the show was airing we spent a lot of time together, and we were off almost every weekend," Ben explained.

"We got to know each other really well."

The Bachelor's Ben Flajnik and Courtney Robertson are now a happy and engaged couple, but that doesn't mean cohabitation is in effect. At least not yet.

Us Weekly (who broke the story of Ben kissing random girls, and who Flajnik calls "shady") recently reported that he and Court were shacking up already.

We thought that was probably too soon. Turns it so did they.

A source tells E! News that Robertson "hasn't moved in, but they are spending more time together. She is gradually moving some stuff into his apartment."

"Still, they are content taking it slow at the moment."

Probably for the best. Love 'em or loathe 'em, the two have been through a lot, and need time to figure out if this is even going to work as a relationship.

"She is now back at her L.A. home and they are planning to see each other again next week," the source adds of L.A.-based model Courtney Robertson.

"They are getting along really well, but she's not willing to give up her L.A. home yet."

"It might be soon, though, but they want to just see how it goes and get used to settling into real life and spending a lot of time together first."

After a controversial courtship, brief breakup and dubious reconciliation, The Bachelor stars Ben Flajnik and Courtney Robertson are still giving it a go.

The California winemaker, 29, and the model, 28, are moving in together at the San Francisco pad Flajnik shares with two pals, according to Us Weekly.

They're in the process of looking for their own place now, but before they find that nest, the pair went on a sexy vacation to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.

During their five-day break, Courtney Robertson has been showing off her famous figure in a tiny bikini, her shaggy man dutifully by her side at the pool.

Although Robertson has dealt with public disdain for her very, very bad behavior on The Bachelor, "she wants to save this relationship," a source tells Us.

Prior to the trip, an onlooker at San Francisco's Park Tavern observed the engaged pair looking "very snuggly... Ben had his arm around her the entire time."

Robertson is still wearing her 3-carat Neil Lane ring from Chris Harrison Ben, FYI. If they're going to crash and burn, they're giving it their best shot first.

The Bachelor stars Ben Flajnik and Courtney Robertson are determined to make this thing work in spite of all the negativity - and they appear to be succeeding.

At least in the immediate aftermath of The Bachelor bloodbath.

Once host-pimp Chris Harrison coughed up and Ben re-issued the $80,000 Neil Lane ring to Courtney on the After The Final Rose special, they turned a corner.

Courtney says that despite the bumps in the road over the last few months, things are progressing nicely and she's nothing but optimistic for the future.

"We try not to pay attention to it," Courtney said this week of the tabloid scrutiny. "I guess positive stories don’t sell, so no one wants to run the truth."

However, it hasn't been all nude photo scandals, cheating rumors and hating. The general public, Court says, has been quite supportive in recent weeks:

“I just spent the weekend with Ben in San Francisco and people kept coming up, offering words of encouragement. So, things seem to be getting better.”

Courtney Robertson reiterated that she believes Ben did not cheat, saying "at the end of the day, if I didn’t trust him, I wouldn’t be with him, period."

“He trusted and believed in the real me. This has been the hardest thing I’ve ever gone through, but I’d do it again in a heartbeat. I found Ben; he made everything worth it.”

The Bachelor’s Courtney Robertson isn't exactly a woman with a pristine reputation to start with, but there are even more skeletons in her closet, a tabloid claims.

Considering what we saw throughout the entire season of the show she - to the dismay of millions - won, the claims made by In Touch Weekly aren't shocking.

Whether they're true or not is a different story.

With Ben Flajnik still trying to run damage control over his obvious ass grabbing pics, Courtney has been hiding some pretty racy stuff from her fiance, as well.

Chief among that stuff? Courtney Robertson nude photos.

The model did a full-on naked Playboy shoot, In Touch reports, plastering a little tease of one photo on the cover, which also claims she had a boob job.

The Playboy pics we can see ... the boob job not so much. There's plenty about Court that appears fake, sure, but her chest is not included on that list.

In Touch, which also hints at some (less-scandalous) Emily Maynard secrets, is clearly jumping on the Bash Courtney Bandwagon, but to what end?

The Bachelor star Ben Flajnik is further elaborating on the controversial photos that show him apparently hooking up with other women during his recent split from Courtney Robertson. His explanation? A little dubious, at best.

Of the image that shows him clearly grabbing a female's rear end and kissing her, he says it was an old friend - and just a friendly butt pat, not a full-on, "I am attracted to you in a sexual manner" style arse grab. Mmmyeah.

The curvature of his hand does not suggest patting, but whatever:

"I have not hooked up with another woman - on my father's grave. Those women they mentioned are my friends in San Francisco," Ben Flajnik said on a conference call with reporters after The Bachelor season finale.

"But, Ben, there are photos of you clearly kissing someone and grabbing her rear," People's Monica Rizzo replied, to her credit.

"If you look at the pictures, I'm not kissing her. And that's a butt pat. My friends grab my butt. I'm physical and affectionate with friends - guys and girls," he insisted.

Again, look at the image above and decide for yourself.

"Maybe you just needed to let your hair down.  [At the time] we were still in a rough place. But I believe he didn't cheat," added Courtney Robertson on the call.
